Doubt : But a song is in different modes too right? Like If I'm saying that a song is in C major this means that it is in A minor. So is it right if say that C is the Sa of the song, but A can also be the Sa, but then we'll have to take Komal Ga, Komal Dha, Komal Ni.
Well, if you play an A minor for a song that is in C major, the start of the song won't feel right. You can also cross check this buy play the A in a tanpura and singing the song along with it, if it is in C, it won't match.
