bhaiya i would just take a minute for just letting you know that the joy i have had watching both the parts of the series is immense. The happiness only true guitarists will feel. Thank you for bringing out the best guitarist in bollywood again
Ehsaan has quietly done a lot to revolutionise Bollywood music by incorporating the blues/rock riffs to it thus developing a signature SEL sound... Guilty of not paying real attention to SEL music, thanks for these videos! Fellow John Mayer Fan... Peace out!
John Mayall is an absolute legend when it comes to Blues..Glad Ehsaan mentioned about him..Sad that we lost him recently..'The Mists of Time' will always be one of my favourite blues song
Seems like an ocean of knowledge , he always love to tell the back stories and excited to teach , indeed he is a great teacher with stupendous amount of knowledge !!
Please cover the khwabon k parindey song next time you meet him. It's one of the most challenging songs imho, so I'd love to hear his thoughts on the composition.
As a guitarists bhaiya❤❤ these types of videos are like gold to me.. i learned from you and part 1 of this series soo very much ❤.. please keep doing more videos like this they are gems for us who are learning and improving by just watching these videos ❤.. Thankyou so much bhaiya from the bottom of my heart ❤️
Ehsaan sir is just amazing. The way he talks about music and the songs shows how much he loves his work. A man who also listens to various kinds of music.
voice is louder then guitar part. wish Ehsaan should have ben given more time / talk then the host. anyway maturity would come during course of time. thanx for the wonderfull video. god bless.
The video and conversation that can make anyone's day. Such a humble person you both are. One major learning from Ehsaan sir is that amazingly beautiful things can be created from a very simplistic approach. Thank you for this amazing amazing video. Love and Respect ❤❤❤❤❤
Can't believe Ehsaan Noorani sir is just casually jamming with one of us, given his insane celebrity status. He never hesitates to share about his works and his social media handles have proved it time and again. As humble as anyone. Thank You Gaurav brother, for collaborating with him and gifting newer insights towards his music and music, in general. ❤
Ehsaan draws inspiration from the world of blues, jazz, calypso and other generes that really add the dynamic to typical Bollywood music. And this is where guitarists, in particular Indian guitar players with little or no exposure to blues, funk and other world genres need to expand their listening to derive rich voicings, scales, arpeggios and others that make the guitar such a great instrument. Well done Gaurav for this interview with Ehsaan. I'd love to see where Ehsaan's personal preference lies though. Bollywood music or the world of BB King, Eric Clapton, John Mayer and some of the others. Maybe for the next video;)
I have personally been associated with "Indian" guitarists and arrangers who have played all the blues anf jazz and pop-ish funk-ish music for over decades...Indians are extremely talented , its just there is not a big market for listeners of the classic western genres ,thats why not very popular...Indians like ehsan , have figured out how to effortlessly mix and match western genres with classical and folk indian music ,which i think is a rare trait anywhere
What I meant by Indian guitarists is, those aspiring guitar players or enthusiasts with limited exposure to western music, that play typical Bollywood music, 3 chords on C or G and use a Capo to scale up. This video throws light on taking simple chords and structures and making them special.. like Maj 7 or Min 7 or one of those Add 9 or Sus chords or those blues runs (not typically used in Indian music), that can make simple Bollywood sounds sound special. Exposure to western music is important if this quality has to be attained.
In the age of music being produced my machines with those metronome beats and monotonic tunes that sound the same, artists who play real instruments and bring creativity are being lost and artists like these keep it alive!
@@talkswithvigy7860 I've listened it dude and I can say it's pathetic lyrics with music.. in the same year I guess Wake up sid, love aajkal, kaminey, kurbaan etc were much rich in musical sense... 👍

Bandar ke hath meh talwaar 😂😂 gaurav talk a lot very exaggerating evry think but plays shit💩💩💩.. Playing Taylor & collab with music producer's doesn't let you means a guitarist first learn and teach😂😂
Ehsaan is so knowledgeable, yet so humble. I wish the interviewer let Ehsaan speak a little more.
