I remember when we drafted him I was mad about it because we didn’t need RB but I’m so glad we picked him up now. He’s a future star.

How did we not need a back? All we had was Penny who is always hurt. I loved the pick cause it was a huge need
I remember people being mad about it and didn’t understand, I thought rb was a huge need for the team. Chris Carson was for all intents and purposes retired. His neck injury was something that I assumed everyone knew he wasn’t gonna be able to come back from and rashaad penny had a great 4 games at the end of the year but was never able to stay healthy. My favorite pick of the draft for us. I hope penny can stay healthy, the both of them healthy together is arguably the best one two in the league.

This guy is a complete back. He has speed, power, vision, agility all the qualities great running backs have. He is gonna be a star for a long time. Glad the hawks got him.
He just needs to mature now and set the tone like Carson did
snubbed for heisman and snubbed for OROTY, ya'll really just giving this man more reasons to continue balling out. so excited for him and Woolen's careers to pan out and hope they are Hawks for a long while.

I was one of the few Hawks fans not frothing at the mouth because of an early RB draft pick because I KNEW we got a star. What a fun rookie season! If Penny comes back next year we got a nasty 1-2 punch in the backfield
Or we trade Penny and a 4th round to get a 3rd round. Pennys great but no need for him in Seattle anymore where he would be RB2. Put him on a team with horrible rb room right now and hopefully he will sprout a good career their
@@pyro_chris183 you undervalue 2nd string running backs, on average they get about 8 runs a game. And on top of that, running backs are more injury prone than any other position.
watching this has not only solidified my opinion on how good k9 is, but it has also made me realize how much of a team effort this seattle run game is. nearly every play other players are doing more than their part! truly shows a team that wants to win together
really great point. especially runs that looked like they were over and the hawks o line formed a rugby scrum pushing K9 down the field
K9 is a gonna be a star for a long time.
My favorite part was after the 5 broken tackles run, the shot of a Cardinals fan taking a giant swig of beer at 10am

I keep drafting him in my best ball drafts. I just dont see believe all the negative talk about his 0 yard plays because some say he doesnt hit the hole enuff. Zach Charb looks nice and was maybe hawks BVA pick in draft. But is Zach really a threat to KW9? KW9 just looks to me like a special back so Ill keep drafting him above his ADP grade in my fantasy drafts.

I had the #2 pick in last years rookie draft and had to choose between Kenneth or London .. I needed RB more and when I saw the college tape I saw generational talent, this kid is DIFFERENT
I got him with the 3rd pick I couldn't believe it. I was ready to take Garrett Wilson (Which would have been awesome too) but I love Seattle so of course I took him. Won the league after getting Lamar and Saquon healthy and Hurts taking a huge step in my 2qb superflex league

I knew this dude was special.
When Walker was drafted i said " this RB has some jitter bug in him" Everyone was like "no he is a power runner " .... I replied " No he is a balanced runner that can use his balance to create a little power but he uses that balance more to make people miss" ... Why did people think he was some power runner? Yes he will slam into people but he wont run them over, it's his ability to slip off and make people miss then explode with that speed that makes him special. Vision, agility and speed make him a beast then just add in lower body strength ( not hugely powerful but still very strong ) and it's easy to see why he succeeded in his rookie season.

As a Seahawks fan for life, I saw this dude play at Michigan ST, when I saw we drafted him. I knew he would make a impact from day 1. When he scored his 1st TD against the saints. I was like watch a new beast is on the lose. What out Kenneth Walker III in 2023 along with Charbonnet, Smith-injigba, and Mcintosh. Watch out San Francisco, the Seahawks are rising and coming for the NFC West. #Hawksrising
We aren’t even close to the 49ers yet. Let’s be real. But in due time! JSN should be exciting to watch this year!
@@williamlarese3010 I agree, with we’re not at San Francisco’s level yet, but Purdy May not be the QB there looking for because he’s a Mr’irelivent. Plus remember in the wild card we put a lot of pressure on Purdy forcing him to make plays, and he was nervous. And look what we did lead at halftime 17-16. We’re getting closer to matching the 49ers with stars and talented players.

My PPR League let me draft 3 WR back to back and then I went for my RBs. Got K9 and Rhamondre Stevenson, with Johnathan Taylor on the bench.

SAME WIT THIS LAST YEAR. SMH. CONSTANTLY FINISHING WIT 10 TO 15 CARRIES A GAME WHICH IS WHY BOTH YEARS WE ENDED UP 9 & 8 AFTER STARTING 4 & 2 AN EVEN. EING 6 & 3 AT ONE POINT LAST YEAR

The only people who didn't celebrate when he was drafted were people who knew nothing about him or the needs of the team. He was on my mock and knew he'd be great 1-2 punch with Penny as well as injury insurance for Penny. Now they only have Walker and Dallas on the roster, so expect another RB in the draft plus a UDFA and/or cheap veteran before camp.

Kids special fr, aint never seen a RB with nast low to the ground cuts since Barry. Barry was somethin else tho with the nast 3 yrd jump cuts, K9 has more power than Barry and might just be a tad bit slower. Regardless if we hit in the draft this year, we winning the division next year with brand new rookie stars and sophmores.
