You're half right. Nick on Sunset opened because it was in a hell of a lot more convenient place than Florida.
Nick in Orlando began running out of money as many shows produced there moved to California. But if Sunset never had opened, Nick in Orlando would've probably continued to operate for many years.
However, as someone else said, people lost interest. So maybe the move was inevitable. The Orlando closure of Nickelodeon is sure sad, though.

I always used to think that these used to look like one of those cheesy laserdiscs that companies used to rotate. other than that it was awesome.

I just walked by the old building. There's no direct access to it and it's been repainted blue.
if there was a tour of the studio for the "All-New Mickey Mouse Club",
the Mouseketeers would've been showing the tourists the sections
of the studios, with the cranky, bad-tempered "Mouse Club" Drill Seargent
trying time and again to stop the tour! That would've been so fun back from 1989-1992!

I never really was crazy about Skip Lackey who hosted Think Fast! at Nickelodeon Studios. He might've looked and talked fine, but I don't think he made such a good game show host.
Ross, even I think you're being way too harsh just to protect your sanity. And I usually enjoy peace and quiet!

I couldn’t agree with you guys more, I still have so many memories and dreams of Nick Studios and I still sometimes can’t help but still have them including of getting slimed at least once, so awesome!😄😄😊😊

I doubt it. A lot of people on this tape were from shows from the late 80s/early 90s. They had more then enough time to update it before you went.

Hey, did anyone hear the news awhile back about the 90's Nicktoons crossover movie? Basically, it would be all the 90's Nick cartoons--Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, Ren & Stimpy, etc.--in a _Who Framed Roger Rabbit?_-style movie. Google search "Nicktoons movie" and see, there's a ton of articles about it.
Now before any of you tell me, yes, I'm aware Joe Murray said it wasn't happening on Facebook, but I'm not totally convinced it's not happening until Nickelodeon or someone who currently works there officially says it's not true.
