- It's finished! This is PART 2 of the gothic dollhouse makeover! The exterior is finished and I will work on the inside in the coming months. This was so much fun to create and even though we're still 5 months away from Halloween, it's always Halloween in my house! Thanks for watching! Subscribe if you're interested in more! ❤️
Looks so spooky cool👍🏻🏚️🕸️🕷️
This is exactly what I was looking for! I’m painting a frame . I added clay, making it look like a stone/brick wall. I needed an idea for the color of the the look you said it, burgundy! Perfect! I love the way you did the roof with the water paint first, another idea I’m using! I’m excited to get started now. The best thing about painting, you can layer and layer, detail. A beautiful and fun journey! Blessings!😊
Very cool! I'm working on the same dollhouse. I was and still may make it an outdoor birdhouse. But while working on it I decided to add a goth vibe and came to youtube or inspiration and here you are.
Love love love it
Wow! Great job. Looks like a really fun project. 🎨🖌
Oh wow! This is REALLY good. I painted the same dollhouse. I kind of went the opposite. I gave it a gray primer and then dirtied it up with black washes and then added the drybrushing. I also painted the inside and decorated it with spooky nick knacks.
Nice! I need to start working on the inside too! 👻
Clever way of mounting the trees by turning the pillar into a bushy trunk. Can we hope to see a part 3 for the interior?
Yes! Now that the exterior is finished, I will start working on the inside soon! Stay tuned as I post more. 🙏🏻
The doll house I got at a thrift store was about the same. Loved doing the makeover..
And loved your makeover too! Well done!
🎉hi new sub love your spooky house🎉
Thank you! :)
Beautiful attention to detail!!
You did such an amazing job! It’s really hard to believe it used to be a pink proper doll house! I hope you post what other creepy things you do with it over Halloween ;)
Thanks! Yes, I plan on working on the interior now. Stay tuned! :)
This really turned out great! Are you going to decorate the inside?
Yes! I just started the inside this week. It’s been fun getting back into it after all these months. Thanks!
@@vintagequietliving awesome! I can't wait to see what you come up with for it!
Love this!!!! So what did you end up doing with it? Have you addded anything to the inside?
Oh thank you! Yes I worked on the inside as well. Installed floors, painted the walls etc..I’m working on making a short video on it now. 🙂
@@vintagequietliving yay!!! Can’t wait to see it!! I make miniatures so super excited to see what all have done to inside. About to start making a replica bunker from a show from scratch.
@@shanellsorrells4727 Oh cool! I recently got into miniatures. What a fun hobby!
What type of paint did you use? This is awesome!
Thank you! I just used very basic acrylic paint from my local art store. I use a brand called "Amsterdam acrylic" but any kind of acrylic is fine. 🎨
I am making a gingerbread house with this house
That sounds awesome!
I wonder how long this took
When you initially painted it you didn't rough the surface ? Did the paint peel or chip? I'm doing the same just want to make sure the paint holds up.
Nope! I didn’t rough up the surface and the paint hasn’t chipped at all! 😊
