Badiashielle runs like a pregnant woman, james and fofana are washed, noni can't pass to save his life, and just because Sanchez is willing to pass from the back, doesn't mean he's able to. Mudryk actually looked like he can make good passes in, but 90 perfect of our play goes down the right side. I've never seen a defensive group so slow. Honestly one of the worst things I've ever endured watching.

i think that’s a good point about carns. he should be playing with back to goal behind the striker where he can have tight play as opposed to this running into space and hitting the ball in front of noni into space . Just not his skill set.

Did anyone else notice how at times Reece James dropped back into center back and Fofana was making those forward runs into the attack/was playing in that midfield role at times. Before they would eventually switch back. I thought that was interesting. Any chance we think we might see something like that this season given fofana’s knack for dribbling

We have players who will perform good in 4 or 5 matches the whole season... we have to accept this fact and just live with it. What Miroslav Klose said about the youngsters is so true. Friendly or a competitive match class and talent is permanent.
I’m losing confidence and ik it’s just preseason. The team just looks confused and we do lack quality.
The entire team seemed out of sorts. Especially the backline. Thank goodness it’s a preseason friendly. Noni looked decent on the right but Mudryk looked lost. The gaffer has lots of work to do.
