What beautiful Bald Eagles Prince Shadow and Princess Jackie and thankyou for the closeups that is what you call professionalism sending the beautiful pictures..... I love it when they play with the sticks because the sound is soothing for me and what a loving pair of Eagles 🦅They sure love one another and how sweet is that to see them pecking one another . Too many sticks in the nest and doesn't look too comfortable. I had my 55th Wedding Anniversary on December 31st.and I survived all those years L.O.L but no Baby eaglets is very dissapointing wishing everybody 'A very 'Happy 'New Year'and all the best to each and everyone of you in 20/25 Message comming from Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦 .
They simply don’t know how cherished they are how much we honor them in all their magnificent glory I admire all species of wildlife even ones I don’t see but the ones that I do see I’m humbled watching so thank you for all the cams and videos

Do eagles commonly NOT use soft nesting materials, like grass, feathers, animal hair, leaves, etc.? Might that be why they haven't had the best luck with hatching? I so hope they have better luck this year!
I’m very curious about this same thing as well. Other eagle nests are loaded with fluff…..those sticks look extremely uncomfortable for the eagles and the eggs….when is the fluff coming??
@@dorothysekellick612 I know they did not use fluff in last year's nest; the eggs lay on sticks, and I have to wonder if they did not stay warm enough to develop. Of previous years I have no knowledge, although I just found and article saying that they have used fluff in the past, so . . . ?
@ Respectfully, the eagles had lots of fluff in the nest bowl last year; l was told by one of the experts, soon after l inquired about it, that the fluff will be coming to this one as well. The eggs would crack easily if laid on sticks. 👍🏼

My understanding is that ultra violet light used is not visible to eagles. Check me though.
They do not see the IR light. Only we do.

Are they going to put fluff in the nest?
First they need to clean all the sticks from the middle to make room for fluff, hopefully real soon
They will bring in some but it’s a pretty “sticky” nest. Not a lot of soft materials in their habitat. 😂
