I would've got the onesie for this back in the day! Later in the 'miggy era this was one of the first multi-player games - we used to lug our Amigas (if not TV's too) between flats so we could run serial port connections and race against each other on the same track (unheard of back then). The original author was Geoff Crammond - who later went on to develop the _F1_ series - but who was also the genius behind _Revs,_ the first-ever racing sim in the modern vein (the _rFactor2_ of its day), as well as _Aviator_ (the first 'proper' flight sim). What set his games apart were *the physics* - at a time when we were only used to canned FX - and this port really seems to capture the feel of the original, brilliant work!

Absolutely amazing work! You’ve made the best 8 bit version by far, I had the Speccy and Amiga in the day but I would of got a Beep just to play this, unreal how you got it to perform like this! And on a classic, ser I salute you, guru master !

I've been playing this version recently. My 1990s Amiga experience of SCR is coming back to me... And as I did back then I am most definitely recording my best lap times and race times on paper! Amazed that the gameplay is so close to the Amiga version. Struggling with div 1 at the moment but getting to know the tracks better.

With a 6502 disassembler and some previous partial reverse-engineering efforts by others and then a great deal of patience. ;)
Its got to be one of the best games on the beeb, pitty it wasn’t around 30years ago (feeling old)
