    I've had mine for a while and now I can't fly without them. Using rudder peddles with a flight sim makes flying so much better especially in prop aircraft such as the warbirds you find in IL-2 or DCS World.

    you can stick velcro tape (the side with the hooks) with adhesive layer onto the underside of the rudder pedals to get them secured on the carpet.

    I’ve used these for combat sims for a few years but always found they are too close together to be able to have the fine control you need to aim at a small ground target. I’m moving over to saitek as they are better spaced apart.

    Im just wrapping my hrad around using them for war thunder tank rb, using the right one as gas and the left as a break pedal with the turning for tank turning whilst driving tanks. For planes it might be a complete gamechanger, with the indipendent left and right wheel break, capping caps with planes gonna be a lot easier

    @artyboy1377 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Your review was pretty spot on! I just received mine and I'm very pleased with them. For its price its very decent quality, the build is very hard plastic so it doesn't flex or creak on pressure. I have a Warthog HOTAS and this seems to complement it very well.

    I just can't get used to it, I'm about to apply some lubricant to it's moving parts, wonder if anyone else has the same issue: they feel way too "sticky" for you to have precise controls with your muscles.
    What happens is that I have to use an irregular amount of force on my feet for it to move, I keep pressing slightly harder and harder for it to finally move, so it's impossible to be precise because I either don't move it at all or apply too much force and move it too much, it's pretty hard to apply just enough force for it to just move slightly.

    Rudder pedals just now in operation in MS Flight Simulator 2020: The pedals are recognized unter "controls" and the display bar also shows the corresponding deflection. In the normal position , the bar display is in the middle (= ok).When used on an aircraft, the rudders always return to zero position despite full permanent left or right actuation (if you press "0" or "enter" on the keyboard, the rudders remain in their angled position). Can anyone help?

    • @gerrypi51
      @gerrypi51 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Problem solved: if you set "rudder axis" to "reverse axis", the assignments in "rudder left / right" are not automatically changed.
      The correct setting is (make it manually!):
      Reverse axis deactivated: rudder right = joystick L-axis Z-, rudder left = joystick L-axis Z +
      Reverse axis activated: Rudder right = joystick L-axis Z +, rudder left = joystick L-axis Z-
      Which is actually the correct setting that can be found in the real aircraft? Left before = right curve or vice versa?
      Full deflection now works perfectly, but the rudder "flutters" when adjusted slightly, so precise control is not possible. Possibly Software problem, similar to the current error in the elevator trim Airbus ...

    Had these for the couple of years. I find them are too close together and hard to make small smooth adjustments with them. Going to get the MFG Crosswind now :)

    Look for once and for all, ALL SINGLE PROP AIRCRAFT turn left due to P Factor, corkscrew affect, engine torque, and gyroscopic procession. Its not a bad pedal setting nor cross wind. Look them up.

      No these pedals are rubbish , yes I know about planes pulling to the side from the torque as well as helicopters.

  • @bluescan92
    @bluescan92 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The Yaw on takeoff power is due to the torque of the engine.

    Just ordered the tpr pedals, the t-flight pedals are just too sticky and stiff for helicopters. If you get the t-flight pedals, make sure you keep the metal rods clean and greasy

    Why you don’t use rudder when airborne. You should use simultaneously rudder and ailerons

    Cant imagine why thrustmaster havent used linear bearing. they cost 0,5$ per piece. These plastic slides are horibble.... Im going to make mod to this one, soon it will be awilable on thingiverse :)

    • @oldtimer2192
      @oldtimer2192 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don’t buy these whatever you do, they are very sticky.
      Thrustmaster calls them the “SMART” rail system but it is really quite dumb as to why there are no bearings.
      Yes I’ve tried various greases and silicone lube but it makes little difference.
      Mine are going in the bin as soon as I get a decent set of pedals with smoother actuation!

    Rudder to keep the nose straight and opposite aileron banked into the wind on final approach is far more stable in small GA aircraft. Crabbing into the wind all the way down then straightening out before you land is an airliner move.

      I have, go to the controls setup then choose the T-Rudder. I then clicked on sensitivity and it will show the axis names and graph the movement. then I backed out of sensitivity and set each axis. for my setup the left brake is L-Axis Y (reverse direction), right brake is L-Axis X (reverse direction), Rudder is L-Axis Z. what confused me was the L- it does not mean left or right rudder pedal but that the whole rudder pedal unit is considered the left controller and that my flight stick unit is the right controller.

      @@yorinov2001 Actually I managed to make it working. You have to assign axis your own both to rudder rotation and differential braking because default assignment is wrong.
