    Privet, everyone! Thank you for being here, and finding your way to my small little channel! 🙋‍♀️
    I really appreciate all the new subscribers, and sweet comments. I hope to share more content with you soon! 😊
    I would simply ask that people please be respectful towards one another in the chat. I see some comments from nice people, but then internet trolls come along to disrupt and derail the conversation, and throwing insults. I understand that we live in a day and age where this is somewhat expected, especially when there are real wars going on around the world.
    While I am an advocate of free speech, there is a difference between meaningful discourse and just saying rubbish for no reason, other than to illicit an emotional response in another. We should remember that there is an appropriate time and place for everything, and here on this channel, I would rather not turn it into another battlefield. Therefore, comments that contribute nothing to the conversation except to insult, will be removed. Repeat offenders will be blocked.
    Please, keep it classy, folks! ❤ We can all sit down at the table together and have a conversation that could change hearts and minds if we wanted to. #PrayForPeace #LoveThyNeighbor

      @FromMajesticGlory It seems you created your account within the last 24 hours.... This is literally what I am referring to. You create an account specifically to come on here and try to spread negativity and falsehoods. If you don't like the video, just move on. I said what I said. I was simply being honest. My country has been on the decline for a while. At least people feel a glimmer of hope right now that a peace settlement may be reached, that is if the current administration doesn't start WW3 first.

      @FromMajesticGlory I would really like to see go back to the freedoms we once enjoyed. The constitution has been eroding since the patriot act was first passed. Our tax dollars go to fund foreign wars and proxy wars, illegals flooding across the border, LGBT propaganda in the schools, and smut on the shelves of the school libraries. News is not news anymore, it's mockingbird media that doesn't report the truth. The America of today is not the country I signed up and served with honor. It's like a frog in a pot of water being slowly brought to a boil. I really hope things turn around. And many people I talked to in Russia also see America as having been that city on a hill, and they don't want to see it fall. Me neither. There is nothing wrong with sharing my impressions and honest thoughts. But opinions can change with time and more information. This video is simply a snapshot of a moment in time. Just a person speaking her mind. Not that big of a deal to get bent out of shape about it. I'm experiencing a new culture for the first time and excited about it. I have family ties to Russia and simply want to explore it further.

      Since you blocked the new account I created for my tablet I came back with my account from my phone. I am not trolling around looking for a fight. When I see nonsense like thus I am compelled to speak about what us true and right.
      You are a hypocrite and you are trolling the internet with this content. Orthodoxy is legalistic and dead. And the US is and always will be the greatest nation the world has ever known with the greatest constitutional values.
      That's what I have to say to your 'honesty'.

    • @InTruthandLove
      @InTruthandLove หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Sojourner4Christ Not to mention the fact that because we have the freedoms we have we were able to vote out the current administration and put in place one that will honor these values. Try that in Russia. Case closed.

      @@InTruthandLove I intentionally and specifically did not block your account. You seem determined to have your say, so you were not blocked. Are you making that up simply to try to point a finger at me and call me a hypocrit? How much are you getting paid to be here and say these things? You do seem to want to argue. I wasn't deleting comments that were being rude towards me. I just didn't see the point of people name calling and posting repeat insults, copy/paste style.
      Since you are so hell bent on saying what you want, maybe you should start a channel and speak your mind? I don't understand why you are here... unless you are some sort of paid bot, or it's personal.

    What a great story. I visited Russia in 2018 and was also very impressed. IMO the Orthodox faith of the Russian people is a private thing as you say, but I also saw displays of Christianity everywhere. You can see icons in public buildings, buses, private businesses, and on the outside walls of the Kremlin. So, even though they keep their faith to themselves, there are reminders everywhere. I also found Russians had no hostility towards the church, even from people who were not religious at all. They accept the Orthodox Church as part of the culture, not a religious sect that needs to be marginalized. This is the big difference between the US and Russia when it comes to Christianity.

A woman came up to me and asked if I would like to join them. About 5 or 6 of them spoke English. I went to fruit & veggies stand and went to pay. The weight & bag. The lady spoke no English. She looked at some of the stuff I pick and shook her head. She went over and picked some of better quality. They are wonderful people. Regarding of Poverty in Russia, they don't have the Carpet Treatment of Welfare like America. Welfare in America is for many a way of Life. In Russia there Welfare is a way to survive. Also in general, Families in Russia are much closer and care for each other. The younger ones respect there Elders and Elderly. Many pain Putin as the Poster of Evil. In reality they should thank God on there Knee's that he is so patient, levelheaded and clear minded. After the collapse of the USSR , the country was in a very bad condition, the way Putin has turned that Country around is just stunning. Of course there is a LOT that needs to Improve, changed and implemented .Putin wanted to have close ties with the West in good standing but he was laughed at , ridiculed , lied to, cut off and Sanctioned pretty much right of the get go. Everybody that is not obeying the West and not playing into the same Horn is getting Punished in one way or another. Good examples are Iraq, Libya and many, many other Countries. Even after all that, if you go to Russia, the people are friendly and helpful and very Hospital. Of course there are some bad Apple's who see the West as the Land of Milk and Honey, especially some woman who want to live in the Promised Land with all the Comfort and don't care much how and who her Husband is just as long as they get into the West. Of course most who they get Married to have lots of Money or well off, so they do get what they ae looking for, but for what price. But this slowed down as Russia has been improving over the Years. When you see how clean Russia is, how safe and how the majority is living, especially in cities, many Americans don't have and live the way those People do. Russians want to live in Peace, there country is larger than America, has immense resources and have no Interest invading another Country for resources or control like the West is doing. Any time they went into a another Country was because the West either did a coup or manipulated Government to take a anti Russian Stand and endanger Russia in one way or another. Just like the latest with the Ukraine. I don't understand why Politicians always need to invade, control or dictate other countries for there own benefits. We the People should stay put, get some popcorn and watch those politician Pansies fight for a change but the funny part is, if they would have to fight there would be no War.

Ukraine is just proxy of UK and US, nothing more. Half of my family live in Ukraine, and i know what happens there. If Ukrainian soldiers set their weapons between two living houses instead of field its completely their fault for getting strikes. Btw ALL rockets of Russia targeting only military objects, but you know what? Russians spend almost half of their income on food. Utilities are cheap because Russia has a lot of oil and natural gas. But clothing and electronics are cheaper in the West. In Moscow and St. Petersburg you can earn double the average salary, but try getting an apartment that isn't a long commute to the center with that money.

Justice works fine, almost no graffiti, clean and, except for having a political idea, very free. Exactly as they were in the past. It had to be the normal cultural development for other european countries but something went wrong since the 1944-'45. At the time URSS had Stalin as Germany had Hitler, Italy had Mussolini and Spain had Franco. If there were been not war, after the death of those leaders, the normal political, social and cultural development it had to be exactly as in Russia.
