Do we all agree #3 is this weeks bell end, for deliberately blocking a live lane for vehicles and not knowing how a merge in turn lane works.
100% agree. Complete Ken!
No, the arrogant bmw prick does not want to wait!
I agree. I hate those types. They're hard enough to endanger someone's life by using their vehicle as a weapon, but bottle it when someone offers them out like the Beemer guy did.
@@BobsBurgers1234 They do know how to. They make a conscious decision not to.
It seems to be a Northampton speciality. I saw a lot of it last Autumn at the A43/M1 roadworks. On one occasion a lorry was stopping anyone driving down the left lane 800yds before the lanes merged.
number 3, hate to break it to you but you're the problem there
#3 the problem is the driver of the vehicle with the dash cam.
Too stupid to realise that both lanes can be used up to the merge point, like you're supposed to do.
agree, was just about to comment the same
Absolutely
Deliberately blocking a live lane…
Totally agree
Yeah , total d#*£ed 😢
As soon as I saw #3 cammer being an absolute cockwomble, I knew what the comments were going to be like.
Thanks for not letting me down 😂
#3 is a total bell end. There is a dual carriageway up to the merge point i.e. the point at which you merge. The idea is to maximise the road capacity rather than start to queue potentially miles back. As a so called "professional driver" he should know better.
At 1:02, the driver of the small car knew that the truck needed that lane but he did all that he could to make sure that he did not get in front of him and of course with all of the other traffic behind him, the truck driver knew that he was not going to be allowed over, all that the driver of the small car had to do was to let the guy through. We all know that an indicator does not give right of way but what harm would it have been if he had just let him in?
Looks like lane 1 and 2 were for different directions, as there's a big queue going back in lane 1 but barely anything in lane 2. Think the truck knew what they were doing, was trying to cut into the queue and push in rather than be let in.
@@dan8ch523 I suppose that perhaps the truck driver was not very familiar with the area and we don`t know how long he had been trying to get into that lane, I really don`t care if the truck driver was trying to push in, I have a lot of compassion for the drivers of big vehicles, it is much harder for them to manoeuvre thorough traffic, we should give them some slack, I would have let him in when I saw that he was indicating.
Comment on number 11 I couldn’t agree more. When you think the rules don’t apply to you it doesn’t matter how small the infraction is, they need to know there will be repercussions.
#12 is on the vehicle in the left hand side. You can see there is no intention to allow a merge with how little room was left with the car ahead. Not a lot better than #3 in honesty.
#14 Instead of just shouting "no" repeatedly, this might have been a good time to sound the horn to warn the mobility scooter rider and the car driver of the danger.
The car driver on the left was the one most at fault. Supposedly qualified driver with bugger all hazard perception.
OK, with hindsight that's probably true. But hey, let's try not to counsel perfection to a cammer who was quickly thrown into a situation through no fault of their own.
@@mrbadger9920 Nobody suggested otherwise though did they?
She's not shouting "no", she's shouting "go" and is partly at fault for trying to get him to cross when there's another lane the mobility scooter probably couldn't see and she wasn't paying attention to - despite initially recognizing that it was a dumb place to cross, coming out right behind a parked car.
She'd rather be a horrible Karen. Vile woman.
#3 enuff said already, #11 for me was a quality bit of Karma 🤣
6:00 Here we see something rare caught on camera, it doesn't happen all that often but you love to see it when it does happen.
#5 kudos ambulance driver, report them to the cops..
#14 that was Heisenberg, you don't mess with Heisenberg.
#10 Two guys from poland on one roundabout 😂
I was going to call #3 a clunge.....
But it appears loads of people beat me to it.
Straight to the comments for #3
6:36 They even opened the door without looking. Useless.
No.3 is no doubt a "professional driver" I.e. truck driver or something. Absolute bellend.
Who made #3 merge in turn police? People are allowed to drive right up to the merge point. Stop being a massive bell.
#12 is the BMW really ‘barging in’ when he’s in front leaving the roundabout and the Clio in the left hand lane deliberately closes the gap to force him out? Merge in turn. Unexceptable behaviour after that though.
Merge in turn. The car not letting him in the arsehole here.
I use that junction almost every day. Clio being an absolute idiot. If a car doing 30-40mph into a 2 lane road, merging down to 1 lane and you're just pulling out, just pull away gently and allow him to merge. Simples.
I wish the cammer had recorded the next junction at the traffic lights. 2 lanes, left lane for left AND straight on, right lane for straight on only (no right turn allowed). The 2 lanes just after lights then merge to 1 again. I dread to think what Clio would have done then 😂😂😂
@waltersobchak1719 arrows are a warning, not an immediate do it now instruction.
@waltersobchak1719 not defending him, just questioning the caption that there were perhaps two sides to it. You’ve made your mind up.
@waltersobchak1719 he was ahead from 06:55. It was the Clio aggressively undertaking to stop the BMW merging. When they get to the merge arrows the Clio closes the gap to the car in front to a really dangerous level to prevent the BMW merging.
That elderly person in Grantham could have caused an accident.
Hope they got in trouble with the police
1:50, cammer must no do that. he is not from the police so do not play for judge and the cars are allowed to drive on the left lane. Overtaking on the right is allowed during a traffic jam and if the other would not be allowed to drive there, there would be a big red cross above the road or it would be blocked by the road owner and the tarmac available must be used. So the guy can go the other 200 yards and merge there and he merging there after 200 yards is what we Dutch call Zipping. We have sign with the text "Zipping from here". (ritsen vanaf hier). So, between that sign untill the place where the lane ends by white striping, road signs or a red cross, you merge. Can also be at the end of that ending lane.
#3 illegally using two lanes of traffic....
#3 The failure here, and the reason why most people posting BTL are failing is a lack of understanding of what it means to be British 🇬🇧. We are (were)a reasonable bunch of people and if we see a queue we’ll join it and wait our turn. If we see people pushing in we will regard them as ‘cheating’ and they should be prepared for, at the very least, loud tutting and if ‘someone else’ has words with them we’ll murmur our agreement. Our road signage should understand the characteristics of the British people in order to ensure compliance. ‘Road Closed’ signs on a dual carriageway should be accompanied with a polite further sign ‘You may merge in turn’, thereby freeing the British driver from their natural inclination to queue. A sensible addition for a better Britain! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
its not pushing in though
I would've loved to reply "the British people aren't as stupid as that", but sadly it's obvious that they are
Fairness is not stupidity. It is a situation where all are in the same position and wait patiently for their turn. Of course that applies to any queue. On my travels I have seen countries where queueing is not the norm. Utter chaos.@@avonacolyte
@@terryable-hh4ck you do understand that when merge in turn is done right nobody can barge in or gain an advantage? All arriving cars can only join at the end of the double queue and switch lane when it's their turn. It's that simple.
Yes, but when is it done correctly? These dash cam videos say otherwise.@@ArminGrewe
Several fails on zip merging. Those who are guilty do not drive on mainland Europe.
It's not even the BMW has a "right" to use the filter lane, the Highway Code makes it an _obligation_ to use the filter lane to its full. (That said, in the past I've been the knobber who cuts in AND I've been the knobber who blocks - but those days are behind me!)
Me too... except I never had the nerve to force my way into a queue... Still cringe though at the times my 'righteous indignation' and total ignorance caused me to position my car in the centre of the two lanes as we neared the pinch point. My cousin said a day out, with me driving, was the equivalent of having a Jekyl and Hyde experience (an unnerving female version)... I have improved my attitude since.
#13 shouldn't have pulled out on traffic coming from the right, it's 100% not the Golf that should go around behind the lorry!
Blocking the lane what a knob
#3 To be honest the cammer and the other drivers queing are idiots.
#3 BMW will force himself into the waiting traffic. The lane is shut! The arrogant clown thinks he does not need to wait!!
Because the lane wasn’t shut yet. Learn to drive mate
It's a merge in turn situation, you're supposed to use both lanes.
The lane is in fact not closed, it is open for another 200 yards read the fucking sign
It was a live lane he blocked, and I can’t believe you didn’t know that.🤡
The BMW driver behaved like a tit, but there is a thing called merge in turn and not just have 30 odd cars sitting in 1 lane like a muppet.
#10 it’s almost as if you could’ve braked to avoid that situation. Obviously not your fault but come on🤷♂️
Having watched these videos for many many months, nice to eventually see the police doing what they are paid to do. However I’m guessing he had a box full off sausage rolls and bacon butties to feed the criminals before they start harassing all the auditors.
#3 you my friend are a first order pillock. Use both lanes to the merge point, then merge in turn. It's not hard.
But he did use both lanes :-)
We are Brits. No pushing in, wait your turn. Forever and ever, Amen.
#3, that is a lorry driver awarding himself the rank of traffic police. It happens all too often, and the result is motorists lashing out because they are frustrated by somebody who has no right to dictate to them. It's more dangerous than the situation they are trying to prevent. And we all know that BMW drivers are more combustible than most...
Also interesting that he decided to let the other lorry pass but not the car drivers... double standards much?
@@steveh3206 Aah, you noticed that, too?
because the wanka in the lorry does not understand how a merge in turn works...how can people be so thick as to not understand a very simple concept..
"the situation they are trying to prevent"? What's that then, legally merging in turn?
I refuse to believe that #3 genuinely thought people would back him up 😂
@@damiananderson8223 How do you know the camera car has no tax or mot?
why are we not banning people like that?
To be honest I think they should be reported to the police, then submitting this clip will have truly backfired.
I back him up, still 200 yards left of road, traffic is bad, why not utilise both lanes while there is still 2? Cammer has no right to enforce action like that, only police.
@@deividasnavickas Most people don't report stuff. If they did, maybe more people would get banned. This is surely classed as dangerous driving (6 points) which would risk a ban if he did anything else.
#3 is another driver who’s never heard of merge in turn!
just a dickhead who doesnt give a damn about anyone else, bmw, audi, range rover......
It's like that on the stretch of M1 I use coming out of Sheffield. I use the left one and drive all the way to the end of the lane where it's blocked. Then I creep until someone lets me in and do not try and barge in.
Let them in. Not worth the bother and stress. And possible road rage.@@goodyeoman4534
As if the cammer for #3 sent this in 😂 “look at me being a helmet”
#3 I don't condone the actions of the BMW driver but you really should NOT be blocking lanes.
BMW did nothing wrong in this situation - using both lanes till merge point
Cammer however, is a prick
@@nekotranslates For once I'm with the BMW driver :)
@@nekotranslatesSo it is the BMW driver as he also ended up blocking the lane too.
Exactly, but the tantrum WAS funny.
#3 1:52 wonder how the cammers day is going for them 😂 what a melt
#3 why are you controlling traffic?
Obviously he's a police officer, HGV unit.
@@alastairward2774 Definitely a unit.
Glad to see so many comments calling out what a nob head #3 was, not only are they just plain wrong but what they are doing is dangerous and as a professional driver (assuming from height of vehicle) they should know better!
What an utter twunk @1:21. Must have aspirations be a traffic copper or something. Deliberate blocking of a free moving lane like that should be a nickable offence. Its MERGE & turn not create a two mile queue.
#11 was beautiful, I knew where it was going as soon as I saw the cheapo range rover and left only arrow.
And they decided to get out when traffic was coming past, which isn't exactly the brightest thing to do
@@wanklefish But the cammer should have anticipated that and waited for the oncoming traffic to pass before overtaking. He's also risking the life of the police officers by overtaking them so close. I would have waited and used my signals and the other lane to overtake them.
Unusual to see a non-traffic police car pull someone over these days. Lots of smaller "panda" cars are driven by officers who are not authorised to use the blue lights at all. Even those with who are authorised to drive response are often not authorised to drive pursuit, so if the Range Rover had made off they would have had to have relied on a letter in the post, and then they can deny they were driving.
No. 3, unless you are a traffic womble, or a copper, you’ve no business controlling the traffic. No. 9, just really, really wanted to enjoy the view.
driver number 3 should learn what merge in turn is and how a closed lane should still be used all the way up to the actual closure, concerning that people can legally drive and not know this basic information
#9 even without road markings WHY THE HELL would you overtake heading into a freaking blind corner....
following an ambulance like that is against the law so this clip needs to be sent to the police so he gets prosecuted.
The driver did get prosecuted. It was on the news, and been on some of the dashcam tv shows.
#13 - Certain that the golf came from behind the cammer? Looks to me like he came around the roundabout so the cammer should have given way. Golf shouldn't have done what he did though
#14 stop forcing folks to cross. Impatient female dog, You almost killed him.
Did #3 really think he was in the right?
#11. Good on the Police for stopping the rangerover.
Maybe looked closer than it was but close with the door and the cammer when getting out too
#15, IF manual to automatic, the pedals are still in exactly the same place, just minus the clutch.
#3 is being an asshole just because.... Its widely knows that both lanes have full access on the roads up until the physical merge point. This cammer deserves road penalties against them.
#3 is an absolute tool
Clip 3, amazing how people don't understand how to merge in turn it's very simple
#3, cammer was a complete bellend.
1:40
Lorry driver acting as a copper - use all the space available and merge in turn you pillock, if someone wanted the lane to be closed earlier, there would be cones on it.
#3 every commenting on the lorry driver but am I the only one that noticed he had no issue with that HGV with the digger on the back passing him.. in fact he actively moved out its way
#3 cammer - what a bellend
Number 3 getting a well deserved hiding in the comments.
@1:48 BMW driver totally in the right to be annoyed at the self appointed traffic police officer...Displayed himself in true BMW driver fashion though...Proud of that man...
Getting out of a vehicle to rage at another driver is the work of a moron. Setting a fine example for the kids in the car as well. He and the cammer were both dicks.
It snaps me off when someone blocks merging lanes. They're supposed to be a professional driver too (HGV).
#12. Not letting him in = more trouble. It's just not worth the bother over a few yards.
#11 that junction is notorious for that happening all the time, a lot of locals will cut up the left and push in rather than waiting the queue to go straight. Good to see one get pulled over for it 😂
Why do people block two lanes and think that they are doing a good thing?
Frustration, revenge, pettiness, lack of perspective, sexual frustration, who knows.
They believe in the good old British tradition and trait of queueing and fairness, leading to the belief that nobody should "barge in" or "jump the queue"
That is the answer to all the naysayers. Folk don't particularly like queueing but hell hath no fury if you try to jump the queue, push in or take advantage. Wait your turn!!@@ArminGrewe
@@terryable-hh4ck and yet, if everyone was doing merge in turn right, nobody could jump the queue or take advantage. We would use our limited road space more efficiently and reduce traffic problems.
In ideal world, yes. But as we all know from watching dash cam videos the motoring world is far from perfect.@@ArminGrewe
At 2:10 the BMW driver was a bit too angry for my liking but we don`t know why, he was perfectly correct to use that lane and merge in turn at the lane end, that is the correct way to do it, this method saves a long tailback of cars.
1:50 the first and only time I'll ever agree with a bmw driver
Agree BMW was in the right in 3rd clip! Traffic would actually flow better if people used both lanes and trying to block the lane off is pathetic!!!!
1:20 Classic zip-merge fail crossed with entitled large vehicle fool who thinks it’s his duty to act as a policeman.
Read the flipping Highway Code before you start dictating to others what they can and can’t do!
I genuinely believe that the merge problem in #3 is caused by the piss-poor design of the sign. That stupid sign basically shows a dead end in the left lane - which encourages everyone to get out of that lane before the merge point.
The sign should show 2 lanes separated by a solid line, and both merging into a new lane in the centre at the end. The psychology of that sign is all wrong and it leads to well-meaning lorry drivers doing this kind of thing, even though they're absolutely definitely in the wrong.
TL;DR: we need a new sign for merge ahead.
Such love for a BMW Driver in the comments...
Wow 2024 looks to be a strange one so far.
Ambulances should have rear view cameras so "Jeremy Hunts" like that automatically get a ticket.
#14, thats why you dont wave people or cars across roads. If he was hit it would have been you fault for giving him the command to cross. I detest drivers that do this. 🇬🇧
#12. I hope the clown in the BMW loses their license for that really dangerous episode of driving.
Also #14, the old dude doesn't want to cross because he is expecting this exact thing. Screaming at home to pressure him to cross made it worse
I am amazed at the amount of drivers whi think that putting you indecator ON gives you the ultimate gods power savour of the world power of direction and everyone else has to move out the way like parting of the red sea ... I guess you have to give them some credit as they did indicate..
I love how #3 sent this in thinking this is a good idea.
Wrong, aggressive and proud of it
Would be nice if you recommended more affordable dash cams
For the most part, the cheap ones are garbage. If you're spending £20k+ on a car, and hundreds or even thousands on insurance, then why not spend a couple of hundred on a decent front and rear dashcam that will actually do the job you need it for when it matters
#9 - loved that on-screen comment ! 😂
#11 is in Hunts Cross, I've had people do the same to me a few times, no police behind unfortunately.
What have we learnt this episode? People would rather damage their car than let people merge in turn
wtf does #3 think they're doing?
6:30 that moment where the driver realises owning a Range Rover doesn't give you the Rule-Breaking privileges
8:26 I was thinking crash for cash but with hgv at that speed more likely to be a failed dignitas attempt
No3 - what a bellend. Merge in turn.
Seen a LOT of these clips a long time before today
#6 Couldn't have a better tune playing for that near miss.
1:25 what are they doing? Sitting in the middle line of both lanes, pulling back right then pulling left again 🤔 the sign literally says the left lane is closing so anyone gong down there is just trying to queue jump, the BMW doesn't help the situation either, small PP syndrome I guess.
7:05 is so childish 😑 people need to really grow up.
The old man, why didn't they beep him to at least make him look up before trying to get himself written off instead of saying "GO! GO!" 🙄
#8 "cretin" haha love this!
Problems.😊is.cammers.with.no.b.......s
4:11 - that driver must be going to audition for Stars in their Eyes - he’s brought his own dry ice machine with him ! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤪🤣😂
always the 'professional drivers' that block merging lanes. Its an offence to block live highways
Genuine comment. Zero bullshit, if anyone knows the owner of the Red BMW in clip #3. I want to buy him a beer. Fully back him for telling this fake policeman a "stretched mouthed banker"
Well done lad. My offer stands.
You should NEVER tell someone to go, especially when you obviously are too damn stupid to look and see if it might be safe. You'd be the sort of person who'd incriminate themselves by handing in your footage too if anything had of happened. Bell end. 😊
Regardless, the impetus is on the person crossing to actually look before diving on in.
#3 A BMW drive that's correct :O
@Ruby Dashcam Academy
Are you American, or are you just in the habit of using American spellings? The reason I ask is that having watched a few of your videos, things like “apologize” instead of ‘apologise’, “tire” instead of ‘tyre’ crop up, amongst others. It’s a genuine question. For all I know you could be from the UK but your phone/tablet/computer dictionary could be set to US English. 🤷
These pedestrian/invalid scooters are death traps (8:07) some of these people have never driven a car before and get them and others haven't driven for maybe twenty or more years and get one and they don't know how lethal the roads are today. this clip just goes to show what could have been.
#3 The police tell us time and time again how to use merge lanes but the plonker with the camera just doesn't get it. How many more times must drivers be reminded? USE BOTH LANES!!!
Number 4 is exactly why you should travel in lane 1, and not in lanes 2 and 3 unless you're over taking. his car lost power in lane 2, VERY dangerous!!
No#5 why was the ambulance driver worried about what was happening behind him?
He should be worried about what’s in front and the patient!
I think ambulance driver was in the wrong in that scenario!
