Totally agree about the Get Back Glyn Johns mix album. I brought the bootleg vinyl back in the early 90s and was blown away when you realize that this album could have been an official release. I have always loved the album balcony cover setup. I always felt the official Let It Be album cover is a little dull and unimaginative. I became obsessed with the whole Let It Be project when I first became a Beatle Nut. Like everyone one else I had the movie on VHS in the 80s and I cannot wait to see the Peter Jackson film.
I live for a remix of "Beatles for Sale" which is not the "weak" LP the newbies insist, and on those grounds ignore it. Also "Rubber Soul," which has more emotional depth than "Revolver". The only question is whether the pre-bounced elements for those LPs were preserved, or instead wiped or recorded over. I finally bit the bullet and ordered the three prior "Super Deluxe" releases, and received them on the 13th. I just received, on the 15th, the "Super Deluxe" "Let it Be".
@@Clapped_by_Lennon It depends on whether the bounced-down elements were preserved. With "Please Please Me" "The Beatles" were not yet more than just another band. But there are few to none overdubs on this LP, and surprisingly few on "With The Beatles". It's doubtful those elements were preserved for any LP before "Sgt. Pepper's," which may be why they began with that.
Giles has recently said in an interview that to remix RS and Rev he'll have to rely on source separation technology. That is AI software that has the ability to differentiate between what sounds like drums, or vocals or guitars in a 'stuck down' master mix. I'm guessing there's a lot of stuck down elements even on the multi-track tapes. This is probably why George Martin wasn't able to centre the vocals properly on the 1987 'remix' of RS and what we got was that awful digital reverb-ed 80s hack job which went onto become the 2009 remaster. However he's gone on record for saying he's not prepared to do it yet until the technology gets better. That's why we didn't get 50th Anniversary Editions a few years back. However I have managed, relatively successfully (if I do say so myself) to privately remix RS using Izotope RX8 and Deezer's Spleeter algorithm on the 'pure' sounding 1965 mixes off the mono boxset. It sounds amazing, seriously - but sadly I can't post it anywhere online due to getting in trouble with the copyright police.
Not long after HMV opened its doors, I was in the store and they were actually playing "I've Got a Feeling" over the speakers (Colchester branch). At the moment I'm getting the 6 disc + book. I was a bit concerned when my card didn't read, then I realised I had put it in the wrong way without the chip. No doubt due my excitement and general ineptitude. Good to be sharing this with you, Andrew.
I was reluctant to make the purchase, however I couldn't resist! the box set is fantastic! The Get Back book is highly recommended! both are a must have!!!
Apple 🍏 is scrapping the bottom of the barrel to squeeze out the last dollars they can repackaging Let It Be again. There’s not anything left to exploit. They know loyal Beatle Fans will buy practically anything new even if it’s old material because they have money to throw away. I’m not interested in buying another repackage again. Thanks for showing it all. The only thing I’m really pleased about is they finally released the Peter Sellers Tape or George’s Acoustic Demos of the White Album. That material was only available on bootlegs in poor Audio quality only. Now Giles Martin remastered it and cleaned it up so it sounds incredible. It’s the White Album Unplugged basically. Acoustic versions of the songs! This is an incredible Gem! And I am forever grateful to Giles Martin for doing a great job on this material. Get Back has been finally released in DVD and this is wonderful material thanks to remastering by Peter Jackson. He did a great job on the material that was hidden in the vault for 50 years. He practically brought the Beatles back to life briefly even if it’s like a time warp going back 50 years. It was so joyous and bittersweet to see John and George again when they were alive. It made me emotional. It was so good to see them again! I miss them both! I’ll buy the Get Back DVD and that’s it. And Apple 🍏 didn’t include the Rooftop concert because that will be the last bit of material they have to exploit. It will be released as a separate DVD for sale. Apples 🍏 last piece they can monetize. There’s really nothing left to exploit. It’s very astute for them to hold it back yet. It will probably be released next year. What’s next? The Plastic Ono band live in Toronto DVD featuring the lovely vocal stylings of Joko Ono. Joke O, Oh No! Get it? She practically ruined the whole show with her Screech’s. My 5 CD/BR arrived today. I know a lot of people are complaining about the lack of content on the outtake discs but I've heard they're curated very well for a nice listening experience.
Received my Super Deluxe CD package this afternoon.. totally delighted with contents and quality.. 'Get Back' would have been a cracking album had it been officially released back in the day..
Great video Andrew. I've been holding off, deciding whether to buy and watched a few unboxing videos and yours is easily the best. You're a proper fan and you know all the things we want to see. You've convinced me I need the vinyl box set now. I've listened to the remix today on amazon music (CD quality) and it sounds great to me. The rooftop songs, in particular, sound amazing. For the first time ever you can actually "hear" the rooftop. I'm sure you'll feel the same when you listen to your physical copies.
It’s all been said before so I won’t repeat it. BUT……. I bought the ENTIRE package…. EVERYTHING!!😮😮😮 Some items I have duplicates…. Plus the store EXCLUSIVES.. 😜😜😜. There are a few things that do bother me but I’ll hold on to them for now.. Good video👍🏼👍🏼

How lucky we are to be able to make new Beatles discoveries and have a greater clarity of sound with these releases. Soon we will see what none of us have ever seen: the band working up songs in the studio, warts and all, in incredible sound and restored pictures.
Agree 100%… it is always an exciting day when a new Beatles release comes out. Great sense of community amongst we Beatles fans. I picked up a US store exclusive first thing this morning to get my listening started, and received my CD Super Deluxe this afternoon. Looking forward to listening to all the extras. Also awaiting the picture disc edition I preordered. I’ll probably wind up getting all the editions eventually.

Listened to Glyn John’s version of the album today for the first time and now Lennon’s comments make sense - it was a bunch of poorly recorded songs at that point! I think Let It Be Naked still reigns supreme for me and Across the Universe Wildlife version is still unbeaten due to the great harmonies on the chorus. Great releas though, great to have all the outtakes
@Ross Thomas I was wondering whether or not this box-set replaces the need for the Let It Be Naked release. I was kind of thinking it was included here. However, from what you are telling me, it's still essential. I will look into getting a copy of it as well. Thanks!
cbond1c just my opinion but for the most part I like it more - I think the single versions of Get Back, Let It Be and Don’t Let Me Down are the best versions and I like the Past Masters Across The Universe best. The thing about this album is you get to play producer with all of the versions now available - create your own! :)
A lot of comments refer to these as a “cash grab”, but I wonder if they’ve ever heard the surround sound mix. That’s a good reason for these “cash grabs”, IMO.
A word of “warning” to anyone ripping the CD’s to their computer. The artwork that will appear on your device will NOT be that of Let it be, instead it’s the artwork from “The Beatles 1” compilation release. Also, CD5 (the “ep”) has no artwork, OR any “T.O.C.” (Table of contents). This was the case with the “All things must pass” release too.
Nice to hear the mix of Across The Universe with Gayleen Pease and Lizzie Bravo on high backing vocals, especially as Lizzie has sadly just passed away.
What’s sad in the Get Back book is on the day before the rooftop performance John is talking to George about George making a solo album and The Beatles having material for the next 10 years. Clearly at this point The Beatles believed they would be continuing for the foreseeable future. As the book mentions ,John had met up with Allen Klein during these sessions. It seems to me that Allen Klein was the main cause of The Beatles demise from this point in January 1969. Paul was suspicious of Klein, and rightly so. Also what is clear from the transcriptions that Yoko wasn’t a problem. They were all accepting her and chatting with her. Maureen and Linda were also around. The new film will clearly show this.
Glyn Johns did a bad job selecting earlier inferior takes than the later more polished takes on his Get Back album. Johns also did a rotten job selecting tracks such as "Little Queenie" and "Carol" for the The Rolling Stones "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out" album instead of "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "Under My Thumb" and "I'm Free"!
Thanks for this video! Very nice boxes indeed. I received the Get Back book yesterday and this is very nice with a day to day follow of the recording process. Will get the vinyl box next wednesday and will order the CD next month. I agree that specially "across the universe" sounds fantastic. One of Johns greatest songs!
I would think that one big reason they wouldn't include the entire rooftop concert in the set is that it probably would not be of great interest to most. We have to keep in mind that it isn't a concert as much as an attempt to get good takes for the film. The rooftop concert is Get Back three times, Don't Let Me Down two times, I've Got a Feeling two times, and one version each of One After 909 and Dig a Pony. I would think most consumers would not particularly be interested, and the people who are, like me, are well-serves by the widely and easily available bootlegs. That said, I would strongly recommend every Beatles fan to track down and listen to sessions in their entirety. It is incredibly rewarding, for the most part.
Wanted to clarify the Glynn John's mix was the approved mix by the band in mid 1969. I have owned this since 1980 in glossy UK sleeve style cover, and the sound is great. The 1970 mix he did of the extra songs was to replace a few on the initial mix. The band liked the sound and selection however they thought it would not hold up so the mixes were shelved and that was the finished product. Then Allen Klein suggested to bring in Spector to see what he could do and the rest is history. Curious to compare the cut to my release.
Got the CD box set and just listened to the blu ray dts hd 7.1 I have 7 speakers and sub-woofer and sounds absolutely amazing ! Great to be a Beatles fan !
Listened on a free Amazon trial, to the Delux edition Saved myself 100 quid plus, Had the Glyn John's boot in the 70s, so glad I never paid out on this. So enjoy yer book gang!
Hi Andrew, ordered the 5 vinyl set. Had ordered from Amazon however the price has magically dropped from $284 to $222 the day after release. Also the delivery is late, now not due till next week - so cancelled. Your right about the original album mix is not revelatory. As for the ‘Get Back’ album, you really hear the reverb on Paul’s vocals on the song let it be, it’s there on my bootleg copy but much clearer and ambient on this release. I will get the vinyl from a local store as I have had box set damages from previous Amazon delivered items. Happy listening. Cheers Matt

Can’t wait to get home from work to unbox mine! I also got both the CD and LP sets. My only issue with it from what I’ve seen so far is it sits on the shelf backwards! Oh well that’s pretty minor complaint. As for others moaning about the four track EP. I get it why they did this. The first two tracks are the missing tracks from Glyn Johns mixes that wouldn’t have fit anywhere else. And the other two are singles remixes that also wouldn’t have fit well on the other disc. Glad we got them in some way. So no complaints from me.
I want a 50 LP Box Set and a 1000 pages Coffee Table Book. The 50 Lps includes all the songs from Twickenham session up to the Rooftop Concert then Apple Studio. All remastered and cleaned up. The Book includes all the pictures including the rumored John and George fist fight. A bonus LP included. Yoko Ono screaming at Twickenham and all The Beatles swearing and fighting. I will BREAK MY PIGGY BANK.
I picked up the CD box today from HMV and the first thing I listened to was Get Back and now I wish that’s what had been released at the time, and they could have released Across The Universe along with I Me Mine as a single.
Great video, picked my preorder cd box set & 2cd version from HMV this morning, so no waiting for delivery vans, also they gave you a free Beatles bag with it, which was nice, only listened to the remix album at mo, looking forward to working through the discs over the weekend & your listening party 🎶
The first song I listened to was Dig A Pony (my fave off the album) because I wanted to see if the remix re-tuned John’s off note (when he sings ‘because’ for the second time). And yep… it’s re-tuned.
Why don't Apple use the blu-ray to include the Glyn Johns version as well? They actually could have included all the content in the box on the blu-ray disc.

Great job once again. I've ordered my copy of the 5LP set and it should be here by no later than Sunday, if not Saturday.. I am hoping I will have it in time for the listening party, if not it will still be fun to watch as I have enjoyed all of them. You read my mind about the Rooftop Concert. At the beginning of the video I thought how awesome it would be to have it on double vinyl! It didn't even have to be a part of the box-set, but could've been featured all on its own. Hopefully, you are right when you suggested that they may have been held back on it, so that it's release would coincide with the re-release of the film (fingers-crossed). Side-Note: I find watching your show very refreshing in comparison to a lot of stuff on youtube. Your enthusiasm for all things Beatle related is much appreciated. Sometimes I forget how much I absolutely love them. It's only been 50-years (laughs).

My first records I bought were in 1972 as an 8 year old. Apple single & Apple album: A Hard Days Night & Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. I've had many singles and the albums in mosttly all formats/configurations. Reel to Reel, Cassette, 8-Track, Albums of course, DVD, Half Speed Máster and digital downloads. I don't think I'll buy the albums. I'll listen on Amazon unlimited.
excellent video Andrew, mine arrived about 4.30 and the first thing I listened to was the Glyn Johns mix which was a revelation really. I must say that this box feels and looks something special it is definately dluxe and premium. Very pleased with it. will try and make your listennig event on Sunday. PS I agree Let It Be always goes before Abbey Road on the shelf!

The daily beatle are reporting that the Glynn Johns mix on the EU Super Deluxe isn’t quite the Glynn Johns mix as it has different takes and various edits....on the EU Super Deluxe, BUT the original mix is on the Japanese SHM release...as they received the correct masters....?

It seems to me that the original album is a bit clearer and sharper all round. The extra material, especially the Glynn Johns mix Is nice to have. I did have a bootleg of it years ago…..but this is much sharper.
Of course its wonderful in many ways.But the new mix is not too different, and there are tracks you would not want to pay good money for.but if you want the lot paying good money is what you have to do.
This surprised me as well. I watched a Vinyl unboxing first and when tore open my CD set from Amazon I was really shocked by the quality over the LP. The Matte is just not appealing at all so I sent it back and will be getting the LP. Why would they not keep things consistent? Abbey Road Super Deluxe had the glossy cover. This edition is all matte including the book.
Brilliant review - I have got cd version and vinyl version will be with me next week. Bought vinyl version just because visually it looks so great. Good to see that your book is not printed upside down - I think that it was Canadian Studmuffin that had upside down version - great collectors piece.

Hi mate just saw on Parlogram Auctions You Tube that in Japan the 2021 Let it Be release containing the Glyn Johns album is the complete 1969 sessions & not like ours containing both 69& 70's tracks. Don't know why Apple does this .Have you heard anything about this?
I've heard the same. I did say in my unboxing over 2 weeks ago that the version we had wasn't quite the authentic 1969 version and I got nothing but hassle for suggesting it!
Thank you Andrew another interesting, enjoyable and informative video. I have just got the CD / Blu Ray set. Enjoyed my first couple of listens to the Glyn Johns & Remaster of the Phil Spector versions. I especially listened to Let it Be and The Long and Winding Road and prefer one from each but enjoy all 4 very much. I Will be interested on Sunday to see if others are similar or if I am in a minority or even unique :-) maybe I will have changed my mind by then hopefully lots more listening before then.

I think that’s pretty poor on their part. Got my picture disc though from elsewhere and it looks amazing of course and also sounds really good….for a picture disc!

Because I could actually go on Amazon and buy it this morning and get it delivered same day delivery for today but my order still said arriving Tuesday. They waffled on and said my pre order went to a certain fulfillment centre that didn’t have them available for today. Not the end of the world but frustrating.

How lucky we are to be able to make new Beatles discoveries and have a greater clarity of sound with these releases. Soon we will see what none of us have ever seen: the band working up songs in the studio, warts and all, in incredible sound and restored pictures.
My Super Deluxe CD Box arrived unexpectedly today! Thrilled to have it in my hands, it is fantastic! It's a Fab Friday indeed!
Agree 100%… it is always an exciting day when a new Beatles release comes out. Great sense of community amongst we Beatles fans. I picked up a US store exclusive first thing this morning to get my listening started, and received my CD Super Deluxe this afternoon. Looking forward to listening to all the extras. Also awaiting the picture disc edition I preordered. I’ll probably wind up getting all the editions eventually.

Listened to Glyn John’s version of the album today for the first time and now Lennon’s comments make sense - it was a bunch of poorly recorded songs at that point! I think Let It Be Naked still reigns supreme for me and Across the Universe Wildlife version is still unbeaten due to the great harmonies on the chorus. Great releas though, great to have all the outtakes
@Ross Thomas I was wondering whether or not this box-set replaces the need for the Let It Be Naked release. I was kind of thinking it was included here. However, from what you are telling me, it's still essential. I will look into getting a copy of it as well. Thanks!
cbond1c just my opinion but for the most part I like it more - I think the single versions of Get Back, Let It Be and Don’t Let Me Down are the best versions and I like the Past Masters Across The Universe best. The thing about this album is you get to play producer with all of the versions now available - create your own! :)
The 5.1 surround version made my day. More rewarding, by far, than the earlier "50th anniversary editions" surround mixes in my opinion.
I’m interested to hear the Blu-ray audio too. I just have the vinyl set at the moment.
A lot of comments refer to these as a “cash grab”, but I wonder if they’ve ever heard the surround sound mix. That’s a good reason for these “cash grabs”, IMO.

A word of “warning” to anyone ripping the CD’s to their computer. The artwork that will appear on your device will NOT be that of Let it be, instead it’s the artwork from “The Beatles 1” compilation release. Also, CD5 (the “ep”) has no artwork, OR any “T.O.C.” (Table of contents). This was the case with the “All things must pass” release too.
Why listen to CDs on your computer when you can stream it in higher quality lossless 24bit on Apple Music?

Nice to hear the mix of Across The Universe with Gayleen Pease and Lizzie Bravo on high backing vocals, especially as Lizzie has sadly just passed away.
What’s sad in the Get Back book is on the day before the rooftop performance John is talking to George about George making a solo album and The Beatles having material for the next 10 years. Clearly at this point The Beatles believed they would be continuing for the foreseeable future. As the book mentions ,John had met up with Allen Klein during these sessions. It seems to me that Allen Klein was the main cause of The Beatles demise from this point in January 1969. Paul was suspicious of Klein, and rightly so. Also what is clear from the transcriptions that Yoko wasn’t a problem. They were all accepting her and chatting with her. Maureen and Linda were also around. The new film will clearly show this.
Glyn Johns did a bad job selecting earlier inferior takes than the later more polished takes on his Get Back album.
Johns also did a rotten job selecting tracks such as "Little Queenie" and "Carol" for the The Rolling Stones "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out" album instead of "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "Under My Thumb" and "I'm Free"!

Thanks for this video! Very nice boxes indeed. I received the Get Back book yesterday and this is very nice with a day to day follow of the recording process. Will get the vinyl box next wednesday and will order the CD next month. I agree that specially "across the universe" sounds fantastic. One of Johns greatest songs!

Just received my copy of the two disc Let It Be set. Sounds great. Also picked up my copy of the Get Back book. Looking forward to reading it.
I would think that one big reason they wouldn't include the entire rooftop concert in the set is that it probably would not be of great interest to most. We have to keep in mind that it isn't a concert as much as an attempt to get good takes for the film.
The rooftop concert is Get Back three times, Don't Let Me Down two times, I've Got a Feeling two times, and one version each of One After 909 and Dig a Pony. I would think most consumers would not particularly be interested, and the people who are, like me, are well-serves by the widely and easily available bootlegs.
That said, I would strongly recommend every Beatles fan to track down and listen to sessions in their entirety. It is incredibly rewarding, for the most part.
Wanted to clarify the Glynn John's mix was the approved mix by the band in mid 1969. I have owned this since 1980 in glossy UK sleeve style cover, and the sound is great. The 1970 mix he did of the extra songs was to replace a few on the initial mix. The band liked the sound and selection however they thought it would not hold up so the mixes were shelved and that was the finished product. Then Allen Klein suggested to bring in Spector to see what he could do and the rest is history. Curious to compare the cut to my release.
Got the CD box set and just listened to the blu ray dts hd 7.1 I have 7 speakers and sub-woofer and sounds absolutely amazing ! Great to be a Beatles fan !
Oh on the The Beatles wide screen DVD movie of Let It Be Released some year ago. It have the It roof top. Of The Beatles performing their songs.
Always get both to avoid any regrets like happened with SGT Peppers mono vinyl.

Hi Andrew, ordered the 5 vinyl set. Had ordered from Amazon however the price has magically dropped from $284 to $222 the day after release. Also the delivery is late, now not due till next week - so cancelled. Your right about the original album mix is not revelatory. As for the ‘Get Back’ album, you really hear the reverb on Paul’s vocals on the song let it be, it’s there on my bootleg copy but much clearer and ambient on this release. I will get the vinyl from a local store as I have had box set damages from previous Amazon delivered items. Happy listening. Cheers Matt

Can’t wait to get home from work to unbox mine! I also got both the CD and LP sets.
My only issue with it from what I’ve seen so far is it sits on the shelf backwards! Oh well that’s pretty minor complaint.
As for others moaning about the four track EP. I get it why they did this. The first two tracks are the missing tracks from Glyn Johns mixes that wouldn’t have fit anywhere else. And the other two are singles remixes that also wouldn’t have fit well on the other disc. Glad we got them in some way. So no complaints from me.
I want a 50 LP Box Set and a 1000 pages Coffee Table Book. The 50 Lps includes all the songs from Twickenham session up to the Rooftop Concert then Apple Studio. All remastered and cleaned up. The Book includes all the pictures including the rumored John and George fist fight. A bonus LP included. Yoko Ono screaming at Twickenham and all The Beatles swearing and fighting. I will BREAK MY PIGGY BANK.
I picked up the CD box today from HMV and the first thing I listened to was Get Back and now I wish that’s what had been released at the time, and they could have released Across The Universe along with I Me Mine as a single.

Great video, picked my preorder cd box set & 2cd version from HMV this morning, so no waiting for delivery vans, also they gave you a free Beatles bag with it, which was nice, only listened to the remix album at mo, looking forward to working through the discs over the weekend & your listening party 🎶
The first song I listened to was Dig A Pony (my fave off the album) because I wanted to see if the remix re-tuned John’s off note (when he sings ‘because’ for the second time). And yep… it’s re-tuned.

Why don't Apple use the blu-ray to include the Glyn Johns version as well? They actually could have included all the content in the box on the blu-ray disc.

Great job once again. I've ordered my copy of the 5LP set and it should be here by no later than Sunday, if not Saturday.. I am hoping I will have it in time for the listening party, if not it will still be fun to watch as I have enjoyed all of them. You read my mind about the Rooftop Concert. At the beginning of the video I thought how awesome it would be to have it on double vinyl! It didn't even have to be a part of the box-set, but could've been featured all on its own. Hopefully, you are right when you suggested that they may have been held back on it, so that it's release would coincide with the re-release of the film (fingers-crossed). Side-Note: I find watching your show very refreshing in comparison to a lot of stuff on youtube. Your enthusiasm for all things Beatle related is much appreciated. Sometimes I forget how much I absolutely love them. It's only been 50-years (laughs).

My first records I bought were in 1972 as an 8 year old. Apple single & Apple album: A Hard Days Night & Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. I've had many singles and the albums in mosttly all formats/configurations. Reel to Reel, Cassette, 8-Track, Albums of course, DVD, Half Speed Máster and digital downloads. I don't think I'll buy the albums. I'll listen on Amazon unlimited.

excellent video Andrew, mine arrived about 4.30 and the first thing I listened to was the Glyn Johns mix which was a revelation really. I must say that this box feels and looks something special it is definately dluxe and premium. Very pleased with it. will try and make your listennig event on Sunday. PS I agree Let It Be always goes before Abbey Road on the shelf!

All looks great but I shall be content with the 2cd edition. Its a pity they dont sell the get back disc separately as i would like to hear that.
The daily beatle are reporting that the Glynn Johns mix on the EU Super Deluxe isn’t quite the Glynn Johns mix as it has different takes and various edits....on the EU Super Deluxe, BUT the original mix is on the Japanese SHM release...as they received the correct masters....?

It seems to me that the original album is a bit clearer and sharper all round. The extra material, especially the Glynn Johns mix Is nice to have. I did have a bootleg of it years ago…..but this is much sharper.
Of course its wonderful in many ways.But the new mix is not too different, and there are tracks you would not want to pay good money for.but if you want the lot paying good money is what you have to do.

This surprised me as well. I watched a Vinyl unboxing first and when tore open my CD set from Amazon I was really shocked by the quality over the LP. The Matte is just not appealing at all so I sent it back and will be getting the LP. Why would they not keep things consistent? Abbey Road Super Deluxe had the glossy cover. This edition is all matte including the book.
Brilliant review - I have got cd version and vinyl version will be with me next week. Bought vinyl version just because visually it looks so great. Good to see that your book is not printed upside down - I think that it was Canadian Studmuffin that had upside down version - great collectors piece.

Hi mate just saw on Parlogram Auctions You Tube that in Japan the 2021 Let it Be release containing the Glyn Johns album is the complete 1969 sessions & not like ours containing both 69& 70's tracks. Don't know why Apple does this .Have you heard anything about this?
I've heard the same. I did say in my unboxing over 2 weeks ago that the version we had wasn't quite the authentic 1969 version and I got nothing but hassle for suggesting it!
Thank you Andrew another interesting, enjoyable and informative video. I have just got the CD / Blu Ray set. Enjoyed my first couple of listens to the Glyn Johns & Remaster of the Phil Spector versions. I especially listened to Let it Be and The Long and Winding Road and prefer one from each but enjoy all 4 very much. I Will be interested on Sunday to see if others are similar or if I am in a minority or even unique :-) maybe I will have changed my mind by then hopefully lots more listening before then.

Because I could actually go on Amazon and buy it this morning and get it delivered same day delivery for today but my order still said arriving Tuesday. They waffled on and said my pre order went to a certain fulfillment centre that didn’t have them available for today. Not the end of the world but frustrating.

Got the 5 LP boxer but it only came with 4 LPs. It’s missing the proper let it be record. Kind of disappointed but a replacement is on its way
