Your reviews have always been so descriptive🤘🏼I have a hard time describing what I like and don’t like when it comes to music. Will check this album out for sure, cheers!
I was preparing for this and came to the same realization. I haven't touched a Limbonic Art album in ages. They're just one of those bands that seemingly gets lost in the shuffle. At least he continues to forge on with quality releases.
Morpheus said in an interview that they considered the drum machine part of their sound, so they will never get rid of it or try to hide what it is. I liked this album, the one real Norwegian Black Metal album that have come out in a long time.
Sounds like you would enjoy listening to Spectre Abysm and Phantasmagoria. For me they were hell to track down, so you oughta be fast if you want them!
I agree. You can tell he's not using the modern day drum software which retains the bands original sound. I respect that for sure. Mysticum shared a similar mindset. Thanks for watching!
Nice review! I like early LA but as they dialed back those cosmic-symphonic elements, I think they lost what they excelled at and made them unique. Later stuff was ok but could sound like 'just another BM album'. Similar to what happened to AETERNUS when they became a more generic DM band
Out of the 4 or 5 albums I have by them, the quality remains true, but it is noticeable that they got more "brutal" and perhaps not as special as they went forward. Still good stuff though. The new one impressed me.
Per Eriksen is a legendary drummer from the 70's Norwegian rock and jazz scene. But he was definitely not a member or ever a drummer for Limbonic Art. Nor did he have any influence on the music. He only appeared on the second album "In Abhorrence Dementia" on a couple of hits on a gong! Please do your research right next time!
I think most would agree that their Moon in the Scorpio debut is their best. This one is far more "brutal", but still very "Norwegian" if that makes any sense. Thanks for watching!
I'm with you Marty, after my first listen it only felt as though I had my face blasted for an hour, but the melodies sneak upon ya!!
Hi Mitch! This one took some definite time to crack through the brutality of it. Face melter indeed. Totally worth the time investment.

Thanks Chad. You're too kind. Thanks for watching!
Great review Marty, I will definitely check this out. I am a huge fan of the first 4, but then they fall of my radar

It's actually cool that Limbonic Art mach 1 got more brutal and heavy with time. This album is killer.
I totally agree! A little synth texture on here would have been welcomed, but it rips on its own merit. Thanks for watching!
🤘🤘🤘!!!
Thanks for watching!
Nice. I need to hear this.🤘
You should! Solid album. Thanks for watching!

I'll eventually check them out.

You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
I’ve never checked out Limbonic Art for whatever reason. Maybe this is my jumping off point. Good review man.
Check this one, or their debut, Moon in the Scorpio. Thanks for watching!

I never got into this band, start with the first I assume?

I've bought the cd last week but this one is weird, these electronic drums are not quite there. Probably needs more spins...
The drums can be lost at times due to the layers of guitars, but I like the synthetic nature and feel of it. Thanks for watching!
