Add running competitively for about 20 years, my neck and upper back are about as tight as can be. My aunt’s a sports chiropractor and has always said that I’m the most tense and tight patient she’s ever had. I realized this is likely the same injury I have been dealing with. All the same symptoms and movement restrictions in the same places, etc. Unfortunately I do not live in Florida where this chiropractor practices.
I was hoping you could share what to look for in a GOOD chiropractor. I've heard too many stories of quack chiropractors so I am very hesitant and nervous. but I am also very aware if I don't get this addressed I'll probably be a hunchback and feel like i'm 90. This chiropractor has a background in Massage Therapy. Most chiropractors do not perform massage, they may work with massage therapist and vice versa to refer clients back and forth. Getting a massage prior to adjustments is commonly recommended. But rarely would someone get a 2-in-1 special like this. It takes a lot of additional training to be qualified in both fields, and with massage there are so many techniques, This Guy is a Unicorn.

It's a way of doing your own self-chiropractic. I also have an arched plastic device called "The Wave", which you lay back on in a similar way. I'm 54 yrs old, 300 muscular 1bs, and this is the only way I found to get the kinks out of my upper back. You need to be careful rolling on the kidney areas, controlling your weight with your legs.
