***** What makes you say that? We don't create any advertisements on the channel at all. I don't delete comments on my channel either. TH-cam has it's own censorship software that auto deletes stuff. I've also made 9 videos this past month (plus around 8 live streams) I don't think I've been neglecting the channel. However, if you feel I've been slacking and want to make suggestions on how to make the channel better I'm always happy to listen.
***** I don't mind if people don't like a video what I didn't like was getting death threats. I wasn't expecting a video I made to cause any kind of controversy. That's not why I made my channel and that's why I stopped that series outright. I like video games, not politics.
There are six Arcade Block videos. The sixth was the last, as we announced in the video we wouldn't be doing them anymore. As I said, the majority of content on the channel this month has been from me, you only need to check the channel to see that. Lots of people like the peripheral and hardware reviews, but I've been trying to slow down on making them to focus on Positives and Negatives. We've been getting a new episode from that series out every week so far. I can 100% guarantee we don't get paid for any of the product videos we have made. It's easy to prove, TH-cam states that you need to include a statement in the video description instructing viewers that it's a paid advertisement. You will never find that on any of the videos on Rerez. You're also not allowed to drop an advertisement on the video. If you question any of the videos just tell me which one and I will send you a screenshot of the videos ads enabled and authorized by TH-cam. Tons of comments get auto flagged by TH-cam. I try to pass as many as I can but it's been getting more and more difficult as the channel has grown. You can say anything you wish on Rerez. Even if it's malicious. I produced the double tap video because I was getting e-mails from people upset that they were not getting notifications. That video was just a way to show people how to get notifications sent to them through a different method. I didn't want the video to take priority, so I made it quickly in an hour and have allowed other TH-camrs to take it and use it. That's why it was on the Game Chasers channel yesterday. Do you have any other issues with the channel?
***** I can 2nd the auto flagging by TH-cam, I get it sometimes too. We have to manually accept certain flagged comments. Sometimes I think Rerez looks like paid product reviews only because of how damn professional everything looks. Seriously, you do an amazing job editing and producing content!
great vid as usual, it's funny, I've been seeing this game popping up everywhere as of late. The first time I played it, it reminded me of Mag Max mixed with Excite Bike.
I loved this game. It really holds up the fun factor to this day. I remember when my dad rented this game from Blockbuster Video back in 1990. I own this game to this day. Bought it at a Cash Converters for $1. Thanks for your unbiased review, Mark!
bought this for $2 at Retropalooza last year and haven't really gotten a chance to check it out. Thanks for the review, I'll definitely give it a shot now!
this is one of my earliest game memories. I was maybe 5 or 6 playing this in my bedroom. mom had this tiny brick ranch in the city of port huron. 87-88 maybe?
2:00 "Which features some pretty cool looking artwork on the cartridge too. No, no I'm not going to cut to the image. Just google it, or rewind the video. Whatever man." -LK
It's been over a year since CGR returned to TH-cam, but they're still posting re-runs from when they had moved to Daily Motion? How many more of these can there be?
Bungis Albondigas And which one was the one where you started on a ground level like the game in this video, but you could go down pits and fight under ground and i think your ship could also get legs as well? Or did it have legs anyway? I think one power up made you shoot the ground beneath your feet as well..
Bungis Albondigas That was Magmax you started as a ship and you could get parts that turn you into a robot and there were pits that put you in harder underground levels
Cmeimhere I remember it now. That was a difficult game! Talk about Mag Max: Fury Road! Also another game was the Challenger. I think it was a Legend of Zelda clone. It had the top down over world, and the smaller side scrolling parts of Zelda 2.
I've seen this game around, but never actually picked it up. Next time I spot it I'll pick it up for sure! But it better bet as good as you say it is....
I had fun with it for a little while as a kid... But I think your opinion of the game will change quite a bit after you've played it for awhile and realize you will never get past the 4th level...
I played this game once in a while i the arcade but it was waaaay to difficult, bullets everywhere and almost everything you touch kills you. Kinda like playing Silver Surfer, or Section Z. Not worth it for the arcade, but I bet it's a bit easier for the nintendo.
Oh boy, this game looks pre-NES >-> I'm gonna bet if it was a launch title on the system it would have found more success, but trying to compete with the likes of Gun Nac or Life Force on the same system this one flops in both visuals and audio...
Ruko Michiharu There was an even more bare 1984 arcade game of the same name. IIRC it had only one song. How many levels does this one have again? This game me lot of frustrations as a kid.
Grimlock Well, it isn't bad really, but I like games that show off what a game system can do, and this one certainly doesn't show off the NES's power...
Ruko Michiharu Considering that the pinnacle of Pre-NES graphics (not counting arcade machines) was something like Bubble Bobble, I beg to differ. (Also, compare to another launch title, Excitebike, which had WORSE graphics)
Mark, i don't doubt that this game is addicting and plays like a dream, but "looks good" ??? Even by early NES standards it looks awful and a lot more like 2600 than NES.
Frank Schneider Eh, the graphics were decent for NES. Not top-tier, but certainly far better than the launch sorts of titles for a lot of the games. I'd say They were a solid 'B' graphically.
quentil The NES was certainly no graphics powerhouse, but it wasn't THAT bad. Just look at Games like Metal Gear, Batman, Castlevania or Super C, to see what it was capable of. This was probably released very early in the system's life cycle, but looks like something released in the late stages on the 2600. It certainly doesn't look "good", although it seems to play very well.
Frank Schneider I played all of those games, and owned most of them. I understand what the NES was capable of. However, How many games were released for the NES? 500? a thousand? The internet says 826. I'm not going to say Seicross deserves to be in the top 75-100. But it's certainly in the top 150-200 imo. That's the point I'm making. It's a 'B'. Super C and Metal Gear were 'A' grade material. Seicross wasn't at that level, but it certainly was no Urban Champion. I stand by my thought that the graphics were fine. Saying that there were better-looking games doesn't negate this. It certainly looks and plays far better than anything Atari 2600 had to offer.
I had this game as a kid. I had never heard of it before and got it the bargain bin of a department store. I was somewhat disappointed with it. It is repetitive and had no real objectives other than to stay alive and get higher points, got bored with it real quick.
This game looks, sounds and play's sooo boring, this is not a game to ever make me want an nes, it's also hard and very repetitive, unless you like to beat your high scores overtimes, this feels like an typical nes game wich makes no sence . In fact when i think about the 1980's, that era ditn't make sense to me either too me.
I used to play this game with my dad. I loved this game as a kid and revisiting it as an adult is no different. This game is bad ass.
This is THE game that made me fall in love with gaming, oh the memories.
I love this game. Played it religiously as a kid!

Awesome! The old intro is back!
Mark you're the best, brother. Greatest voice in all of TH-cam.
Luke Pike and glorious hair!
Wow the sound effects and music in this game bring back memories.
Love the original CGR intro.
great vid as usual, it's funny, I've been seeing this game popping up everywhere as of late. The first time I played it, it reminded me of Mag Max mixed with Excite Bike.
I utterly loved this game as a kid. I used to play it all the time on my NES with my NES Max controller, heh.
Wow I had this game as a kid and totally forgot about it until now. I sucked at it
this is one of my earliest game memories. I was maybe 5 or 6 playing this in my bedroom. mom had this tiny brick ranch in the city of port huron. 87-88 maybe?
Your voice is as smooth as melted butter.
Looks like the Grim Reaper on a speeder bike.
I agree, this game would have been awesome back in the day. Cool review.
2:00 "Which features some pretty cool looking artwork on the cartridge too. No, no I'm not going to cut to the image. Just google it, or rewind the video. Whatever man." -LK
Pretty sure he's the only big reviewer that enjoys that game.
Can't complain. I, too, enjoy Seicross greatly.
Sweeet, the classic intro!
I'll have to give it a try. The sound doesn't seem up to par, but the game play looks pretty fun.
Loved this game as a kid
Wow, that actually looks pretty fun. I tried it for a bit on a emulator and dismissed it almost immediately, guess I'll give it another try sometime.
I'm just playing Seicross for the first time. Amazing game!
Had this on one of those fake cartridges with a 130 games or so. Absolutely one of my favourite games on the NES.
I remember this. In fact, I still have my copy!
Wow! A horizontal River Raid! I never knew about this game!
best youtube channel
Good review. This looks like a fun game to play.
The game looks awesome. I wonder why I never heard of it before.
Looks simple and fun
Riz2336 it's not simple
It's been over a year since CGR returned to TH-cam, but they're still posting re-runs from when they had moved to Daily Motion? How many more of these can there be?
I fuckin' love this intro so fuckin' much!
worst intro ever... he sounds like a total tard.
Justin A Did you have to comment 7 times?
Please review more pinball games from the 80's and 90's. Pittsburgh is like the Mecca of pinball, so I've read!
Its just like Magmax, only on Tron motorcycles!
CarozQH I knew this game was reminding me of something
Cmeimhere Which was the one with the track creator?
EDIT: Never mind I was thinking of something completely different to this game...
Bungis Albondigas And which one was the one where you started on a ground level like the game in this video, but you could go down pits and fight under ground and i think your ship could also get legs as well? took your word and this game is alot of fun!
Jake Coffman or what?
Cool review.
U know what's another awesome game for news, that some people hate is Slalom.
love this game
the graphics remind me of an Atari game
I had this back in the day. always fun to hit those vespa guys into stuff
I have a mame arcade game with 7,000 games on it. I just looked to see if I have this game. I do! I can't believe how fast you go. it's a hard game.
Never even heard of this one, looks like it would have been a great rental at least
Hey man. Have you reviewed everything yet?
I played this game on my friend nes it was super fun
4:06 Looks and sounds like an early NES title, to me.
I wonder if Mark has ever accidentally put a game in the correct console.
***** He once put a MegaDrive game in a SNES and it work (adaptor), you can find the video.
I know, like the Super GameBoy
I missed this intro!
cgr did you know that there is a sequel to truxton called truxton 2? but its very rare sadly
I never heard of this game before (though it reminds me of something I can't put my finger on), but it looks good. Go Ben from Buffalo!
This game is really good!
I'm biased against Seicross because my copy came in a box that said Gradius on it.
It's funny how you're the only one with a gun, and you're like "Die fellow racers!" Crashing them into walls, and stuff, that's hilarious.
I had fun with it for a little while as a kid... But I think your opinion of the game will change quite a bit after you've played it for awhile and realize you will never get past the 4th level...
Do the intros keep switching up because he filmed some of these ahead of time?
I'd guess so considering his hair isn't what it was in the last video.
Alex Ragle This intro is better than the approved by Lord Karnage intro.
Yup, check the date. Probably made when he was outside YT. www.dailymotion.com/video/x1973zr_classic-game-room-seicross-review-for-the-nes_videogames
Awesome 😈
Awesome review, as usual... I still need this game and its cheap as shit.
Watching the video, I feel like he's being being 100% sarcastic. Everything he said seems completely opposite of what I'm seeing and hearing
I played this game once in a while i the arcade but it was waaaay to difficult, bullets everywhere and almost everything you touch kills you. Kinda like playing Silver Surfer, or Section Z. Not worth it for the arcade, but I bet it's a bit easier for the nintendo.
It is on NES 620 games
I don't think you ever heard of the game because no one could figure out how to pronounce it.
Must be an older review. "Earth Classic GameRoom..." intro.
looks & sounds like Colecovision
Sounds a lot like Adventure Island.
Reminds me of YuGiOh 5Ds
You don't own Seicross, Seicross owns you!
Oh boy, this game looks pre-NES >->

Ruko Michiharu Implying that's a bad thing.
Maybe it's just not your cup of tea?
Grimlock Well, it isn't bad really, but I like games that show off what a game system can do, and this one certainly doesn't show off the NES's power...
Ruko Michiharu The graphics were fine for the NES. And the gameplay was superior.

play it love it , oh by the way i just got truxton :D
looks like an msx1 game
Have you guys ever heard of MC Punjabi?
Is it weird that I've watched dozens of Cgr videos and I say the intro out loud every time?....or is it sad that I never say right
You dyed your hair!
CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES!
The two dislikes are all massive GameCom collectors.
GOOD GAME INDEED !!!
I want your shirt... Oh, and more reviews ending with Derrick getting pummeled. That's just classic Classic Game Room.

Frank Schneider The game startup screens says 1988, based form an original 1986 release. That's about in the middle of the NES lifespan.
its a post man on a scooter xD
Did you ... dye your hair?

I like how nobody has blasters on their vehicles except you, Mark. You cheater.
"It doesn't feel dated."
So it's not like Call of Duty?
defender knock off
ayy lmao
Looks more like an Atari game.

Are you sure it's not pronounced 'Sea-Cross'...Since it's like ya know....they're racing in like the sea dude......
It sounds like an Asian trying to pronounce Cyclops.
I hated this game as a kid. It made no sense to me.
but you get first place every time if you make it! lol.
2nd comment
Sorry, but... Nintendo > Sega
I totally agree with you! Nintendo has the successful NES, Sega has the failed 32X.
