thanks toby as someone who hasn't improved in years i can happily say that i am going to be using this method a lot more. (also as someone who is losing motivation and cant cube for long without getting kinda bored)
hi just a quick question, do you think doing practicing techniques such as last slot+last layer, individual steps, 2 gen etc is worth it? and if so which ones do you think are the most worth learning
100% Worth it. I'm not sure how specific you want me to be, but these are a few of my favourite practice techniques that have helped me improve the most: - Last slot+last layer (my LL is my weakest step so it helps me train that well) - Watching walkthrough solves and reconstructions (and taking notes on things you aren't doing that they are) - Alg drilling through bestsiteever.ru - Untimed solves (as mentioned in the video) And most importantly, every week list 2-5 small weaknesses and how you can solve them. For example: Weakness - I seem to pause slightly after my first pair on a lot of my solves. Solution - Maybe I should do a bit of practice each day where I don't time inspection and try and find the pieces of my next pair (even if I don't plan where they will go or how I will solve them) I hope that helped! I might make a video on this topic soon to expand on it a bit for you.
Love this idea! As someone who doesn’t always have time for practice this is really helpful and I’ll defo use this, thanks Toby!
Glad to help, love your content!

WOOHOO
Most days I only have time to cube for 40 - 60 minutes. Thanks for giving me some ideas how to practice more efficiently.
Hey awesome! Glad to help out!
thanks toby! What if i want to practice a lot of events other than just 3x3?
Focus on one at a time, get really good at one then move on
I barely cube for like 10m a day these days 😭 but this is intriguing nonetheless !
tremendous
