It's still so insane to me how each one you put out manages to somehow sound exactly like FFVII but simultaneously be so distinctly and unmistakably Ocarina of Time This has to be your best work yet! Your hard work into this one paid off in spades, those simulated synths sound so good!
Amazing how faithful this is to the original considering I don't remember the OOT tracks sounding anything like this (I just 100%'d the game a few weeks ago). And Bombing Mission is one of my favorite tracks from FF7!
one thing i can definitely assure you is the use of Ocarina Samples, and the reason why it sounds different is a more direct use of orchestra instruments vs all the weird ambient stuff OOT uses. I certainly can add stuff like malon singing and gorons but people didnt seem to like that lol
**music starts** **Cuts to Zelda's face** **Pulls out to a cyberpunk Hyrule Castle** LEGEND OF ZELDA: CRISIS OF THE EARTH **Link jumps off the train** Tingle: Alright new guy, you're with me.
I don't think most people understand how much of an undertaking what you describe your process as is, that's insane dude, I can barely manage my score format of 16, and that's with like half the instruments having duplicates so I can easier write different rhythms Fantastic work as always though, this sounds incredible!!
Remember an article they made saying due to the success of FF6 on Super Nintendo they were gonna do 7 on the system, but ps1 being a better format on disc; I bet the music would've sounded just like this. Too cool.
Amazing stuff dude. You should get in contact with the Zelda Randomizer community, i've been watching a lot of ZFG lately and his randomizers have a lot of OoT soundfont edits. you might even want to check it out incase people have taken your stuff without permission. Gotta be careful with posting quality nowadays
Honestly it wouldn't bother me if someone does yoke a song or two. Reason why is I can't monetize the content. Also check and see if "birth of a god" uploaded. I'm having problems with that song
@@Stubz1989 You should still take credit in case you want to make content you can monetize. It definitely seems like you have the talent and everyone in your comments loves these.
The paradox of this cover is that it sounds right at home in Ocarina of Time in general, but it's completely unfitting for any specific part of that game.
Hello, Cloud! Wake up! The Great President Shinra wants to talk to you! Cloud, wake up! Funny how my first play through when I was 7, I actually named him Cloud instead of Link. My two favorite games when I was a kid, meshed together beautifully. Absolutely stellar work my friend, thank you for this.
@@Stubz1989 this is a work of art my friend. You deserve so much accommodation for all this. There’s so much individual articulation in each composition, and everything sounds in the right place. You did such a great job

Jenrova.
Personally I think of Darunia, he's got much of the same personality as Barrett.
Or the Mario-like guy can be Barret.
This combination sounds a lot like something from Star Fox 64
im pretty sure coz star fox 64 and ocarina of time used a TON of the same sounds
This is what Final Fantasy VII on the N64 could have sounded like.

I hope Oneyng sees this. He loves FF7 and I think this would be interesting to him.
This some heat
This song was so frustrating at points, but managed to get things to sound nice together. Glad you enjoy it!

Alternate timeline where Square stuck with Nintendo in the 90s.
This entire channel is basically that timeline. Check out the rest of the songs or the play list!

one banger after the other!! great work as always!
I can see this fleeing from Gannon’s castle while he’s crushing it on Link and Zelda
I was WAITING for this
Listened to it dozens of times man. Even during my coding tests. Sick track bro, love yer stuff !
This is like if FF never left Nintendo consoles! I love it!
This is incredible work, wow😮
This is fantastic
Actually reminds me of Star Fox 64 a bit.

What a masterpiece man. You got my sub
I've got a bad ear, if you told me this was the original I'd just believe it. Actually there's big one tell, the guitar.

Proof that Square *could* make FFVII for the N64, they just didn't want to 😉
