Beautiful fabrics, the flowers you have pressed beneath the books you can use the Hapa zome aka flower pounding method to print the flowers onto the fabric. I am doing this for some of my native flowers and leaves. Simply lay your flowers between fabric and with a large stone or a hammer or mallet, hammer each flower completely and you will have 2 printed pieces of fabric. Looking forward to seeing your Field Notes evolve. I didn't know where to start so I just stitched 'filed notes' onto fabric to get myself started.
