I have been watching your videos, and I learned a lot. Thank you 😊 I have a question: Is it okay with you to see what is the best icing food colour for all kinds of icing or can you make videos what is the best food colouring and do and don't do when you use food colour and different icing please
Great video. What brand of colour gels do you recommend? I've been using colour paste in the past for my buttercream but they don't seem to saturate as well as the ones you use in your video. 😊
I'm in the US and I like Chefmaster, Americolor and Wilton. I haven't tried any UK brands to recommend but I'm about to try some Sweet Stamp gels - I'll let you know how it goes!
When I try the violet trick to make my butter cream white it always ends up with a tint. I have even used a toothpick amount and it does the same. Never fully white
If your butter is very yellow you might need a bit more violet to take away the yellow tinge. You can also try mixing just the butter for a few minutes before adding the sugar because as you beat it, it will lighten in colour
This is amazing. Thanks so much for sharing as I am about to make rainbow cake this weekend. One question, may I know where did you buy the colour storage at minute 0:50?
