They felt stable and at home. The stuff with Snoop dog fels "trendy" and a bit obnoxious. I still think of Martha Stewart as the calm motherly like figure of the 90's.
yeah, no kidding. I don't want to eat raw egg in this day and age either. Way too many recalls and people getting sick. Where I live it is illegal for a restaurant to undercook eggs served to the public.
When you’re whipping eggs put the mixture on a double boiler and whip it up. Take it off the heat to add cream and peach mixture. In where I live it’s not an issue to eat eggs raw as quality of eggs are excellent. You can also buy pasteurized eggs.
What’s strange about it? This version of ice cream uses a whole egg and an egg yolk so that peach flavor comes out more than the mint or vanilla one she has in her recipe collection. Nothing strange about it at all.
@@maxlgbtlaw9221 I'm not an antique just yet- but after I had a child I actually DID h ave a milkman who brought and left milk and sometimes other things. Was expensive so couldn't do it often but I remember still, the racks he'd carry to the door with order. Milk in bottles too which were left for return. - in the 70s btw. Milkman was a dying breed by then of course. (SO YES M S certainly could have had someone delivering when she was young. Big raspberry to Keith :D
As if you had any clue about it…what a rude comment. A milk man is not an ancient history thing of course it’s possible a milk man brought her milk and eggs. I even remember my mom had milk delivered by a milk man and I’m in my 40s, almost half her age.
These are the Martha Stewart Living shows that I like. The old ones. Sewing, cooking, gardening and so on.
Travis Krantz: exactly!!!
Are they? I never saw them- haven't had tv service for "decades" so I will enjoy these!
@@Katy-ye1zr enjoy! These are the best of the best. Purely educational, at least in my opinion.

LOVE all the older MArtha videos !! Keep them coming !! And Peach Ice Cream ?? SWOON
She's one of my earliest inspirations ...still is today....it's a good thing...it's excellence
We made this probably at the time this aired in the early 1990s. It was truly the best ice cream
I have a hand blender and an old fashioned ice cream maker. I will be making this. Martha always makes me happy. :)
Thanks, Martha! Going to give this a try. I appreciate the video.
Great recipes Martha! Loved watching the classic episode! ☺️
Looks like a winner to me! Peach Ice cream sounds good here in Texas in July!
Martha you're a legend!! I made this for my husband with the addition of brandy .. Cheers!
You are the best chef
Can't wait to try this recipe!🍑
Since I no longer have young children at home, I add 1 teaspoon of peach schnapps to this recipe.
😁
What happened to them?

They grew up, moved away, got married, and made me a grandfather.
Oh wow, that kitchen lol
At least it is not in the living room.
Nice ice cream
So Good- Love this one 💚
Great.

Peach ice cream
How about a mango and peach combo?! Great recipe!
How about grape soft serve
Like concord
i want that ice cream, yumm-o
How did her Mom do it?
Raw eggs?
Yes. Old fashioned ice cream recipes call for eggs, and some, even flour
Oddly enough, if you click on the website, this recipe is nowhere to be found?
I love this but does anyone know how to make this without a raw egg. That is my only issue with this delicious recipe.

You can buy -- or make yourself -- pasteurized eggs; for example, "Davidson's Safest Choice". Their Web site includes a store locator.
seanviv2 I think the recipe would work just as well if you cooked the eggs and sugar over a double boiler, whisking constantly until light and fluffy

@@CooksCentralThen it’s a semifreddo and not and ice cream.

One egg and one yolk? Strange. I used 3 large egg yokes for greater smoothness.

Raw eggs? No, thank you. Prefer a custard ice cream.
So her mom had an ice cream maker? What?
You can tell when she said masturating (spelling?) that she had to be careful to not accidentally say masturbating. Hehe, oh Martha.
she definitely did not have a milk man bring her milk and eggs when she was younger. Nice try painting a picture Martha.
