NameForComments We can’t cheat because we have parental controls. You can’t even change the time if you turn off the parental controls, you have to unregistered them. It’s way too much of a hassle, especially with kids who will wake up at 4am to play, not having parental controls isn’t an option.
@@ellyclaire1996 Yikes! We haven't been tempted to change the time yet but 2 adults and 2 kids can really tap out an island's resources every day in the early phases.

@@merkielongform actually, having parental controls locks the date and time settings to online time. Otherwise, they can change date or time to get around time limits.
Animal Crossing is like a craving game.
Sometimes you just feel like animal crossing, fall into it for awhile, pop in, pop out, leave it for a bit, and return years later to the confusion and delight of your villagers.
Man I revisited my new leaf save file after several years and all the villagers were guilt tripping me and wondering if I hated them :/

I sold my copy of New Horizons last year. Now I regret it, and am looking for a cheap used copy. I’m just really looking forward to coming back to a house full of cockroaches, in-game hair all disheveled, and a village that hates me and thinks I was dead. I bet they had an auction on my stuff already.

Speaking of not being able to move the camera around freely, I find it odd that you can do that in your home but not in the museum (where it would be actually useful to see everything)

In the fossil area, you can stand on these little blue spots and the camera angle will change.
Well the museum is layed out so you see everything from that angle
@@Banjomike97 As far as I’m aware, you can’t see the head of the Brachisaurus unless you read it’s plaque, then the camera repositions to see all of it. I wouldn’t called that laid out to see "everything"
@@EPS5000 I was so bummed that I couldn't see the head section of it! I hope the Apatosaurus is better placed. I love fossils so, like a little kid would do, I donate all of my fossils and eagerly run into the exhibits to see the results.

This is my first AC and in the beginning I did some time traveling here and there, but other than helping me in the beginning I really love the fact that without TT every day there is so much to do! I have never been so addicted to a game before.

@@ninjamatic5000 Me neither. Just knowing my island is tainted would drive me up the god damn wall, like getting to the last boss in Doom Eternal on Ultra Nightmare just to glitch him out. I time traveled a lot in the first AC on the gamecube, and it ended up making the game feel uninteresting. Never again.

I am so glad you have found the wonders of animal crossing 😁😁😁 I couldn't get it on release day as I didn't have enough money until the 2nd of April, and when I saw you review it made me want the game so much more. I was so anxious to get it was actually kind of uncomfortable 😂😂 but I got it on the 2nd and now I'm enjoying the Easter event! I literally cannot put this game down dude it's insane. It's so much better than all the other ones for sure. literally the first thing I do when I wake up is check on the new stuff in my island that has been built. Just finished the museum in my house is on its second upgrade!
