he reconnected with his now wife at taylor's 4th of july party and it was their first official date. 'Our anniversary is Taylor’s 4th of July party. It was around then, and we reconnected. I went on tour again, and then I went to Taylor’s party. I was texting Seaborn, and she was like, ‘I’m in Rhode Island at a 4th of July party,’ and I was like, ‘So am I.’ I kinda said to Taylor, ‘Can I invite one of my old schoolmates?’ The rest is history.'
I think you'd love I did something bad and Don't blame me from the Reputation Stadium Tour. The studio versions are good, but the live ones are superior. The live versions of her songs are always the better versions.
I’ve always thought it was interesting that both Taylor and Ed say “reputation precedes me” but Future says “I got a reputation that DON’T precede me”. Like the things that he says in the song are about holding you down, being one call away if you need me, etc. which is not the reputation he has. So it’s like this side of him isn’t the reputation that precedes him because of what he usually sings about. That “bad boy persona”. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but I’ve always liked that.
I love that Ed is on this because they’ve been friends in real life for a very long time. She’s always been there for him and vice versa. Trump is also a hater. How could you forget about #1 a$$hole? The day he said that he liked her 25% less, she had an online merch sale for 25% off. She deals with the hate better than most. This was a fantastic collaboration!! Hope they do more. Taylor needs to go into Future’s lane now! 🎶 ❤🎉
One thing about all of Taylor's collabs is that whoever the artist may be, they equally shine in the song as Taylor herself. If you remove the part of the second artist, the song will sound so incomplete. It's like no one is overpowering anyone but they're equally just awesome and just fit in together like puzzle pieces. I think that's amazing
I agree! But I will say, Taylor truly pulled it off when she did it as a surprise song on piano on the Eras tour! I had ALWAYS wondered how it could be performed by just T and she really did the damn thing. It was perfect.

Joker and the queen also has a music video with the same kids that were the leads in everything has changed music video. I would recommend you do both reactions back to back.
He’s really sweet, too, in saying he wouldn’t have become as big a star in America if she hadn’t taken him on tour. Not sure if that’s necessarily true, but very kind of him to say regardless.
"After the storm something was born on the 4th of July" actually references how Ed met his future wife for the first time at Taylors house during a 4th of july party. Taylor didnt know that originally cause during an interview she made a joke that it was funny he said 4th of july when hes british then he told her the real reason.
For the 4th of July line, Ed Sheeran actually went to a 4th of July party at Taylor's house one year where he invited an old friend or something he had met and that is now his wife. Which could maybe tie into the 4 words that you were thinking were "Will you marry me"
@@N.A.97Taylor is known for her songwriting and lyricism, she is in the same level of greatness as Eminem but in a different aspect, Eminem is in rap and Taylor is in music.

such an underrated song, it's so good the 4th of July mention is actually referencing how Ed's relationship started on 4th of July party at Taylor's house
Ed said he is referencing both things you mentioned about the 4th of July so you were right! he said his relationship with his now wife started a Taylor's 4th of July party
"Is Taylor a cat woman?" of course 😸 One of her cats has a bigger fortune than Travis Kelce 😂 Love your reactions/analysis of Taylor's videos, very insightful!
Born on the Fourth of July references Taylor inviting Ed’s crush from high school (the women he is now married to) to her July 4th bash and the rest is history.
Once again, your breakdown... point! Playing on what you said about how artists use your talents to deal with life, you should watch her documentary Miss Americana because she says the same thing and you get to see how her mind turns having to "deal" into music. If you reacted to it, it would be a three hour breakdown for you though 😂 Keep doing what you do man, I see great things in your future.
Taylor playing "You belong with me" live from the 1989 tour. It is a Pop/Rock version. She is dressed in black leather and plays an electric guitar the entire song. It is a different side of her, very different! I watch it on the EAS Channel. It isn't a video she put out. It is taped from the concert. She is badass in it. You will be surprised.
I never caught on the love is like a drug reference but that's so cool especially because she has her song Don't Blame Me where she says "My drug is my baby I'll be usin for the rest of my life"
Man, a Prog Metal Head and Alt Rock lover here with a long years Swiftie side! Yes, this goes along very well as it is all about music and artistry and Taylor is beyond doubts on these. BUT - I never would have thought I'd listen to a rapper (never my business) to get an even deeper understanding of Taylor's lyrics (English language his not my mother tongue) and new views on her musical arrangements. Not to speak about your work referring to TOOL, which I really admire. Knox, you are very very good in what you are doing here! This is excellent, interesting and also entertaining in the best sense of this word. Certified! 😉
The Taylor song with the most flow type delivery (in my admittedly uneducated opinion) is Calm Down. The video is pretty fun and epic, but it's the lyrics and the way she delivers them that gets me. I'm a singer. I can't sing that song at all. It's so ma y words, so fast in a conversational but still sing-y way. I think you'd appreciate that one. Always appreciate your insights, keep up the great work!
Killing it as always Knox! I absolutely love this song because it is such a contrast with all three of them saying yes, I know my reputation but still showing a vulnerable side to themselves in their verses. Ed and his now wife reconnected on the 4th July, I'm sure I read he was supposed to go to Taylor's infamous parties but when Cherry asked him Taylor encouraged him to go or he invited her to Taylor's. I always take his last two lines as separate because of the meanings - four words on the tip of my tongue - Ed saying he's ready to prepose to Cherry which happened the same year this was released. Using Taylor's song to say it has a double I think too as a shout out to her and her impact on their relationship but also as a way for him to say to Taylor that it can happen for her because it's happened to him. Then - I'll never say - as a lead into the chorus I don't wanna touch you meaning that is something he'll never say. When Taylor met Joe Alwyn they didn't start dating right away even though they had a connection that sparked right away (there's a few songs she's mentioned this in). Which is where her first line comes from. She's been vocal about how she doesn't believe that you have to forgive and forget to move on though since she has said in songs that she chooses her battles now. She then is telling him that he'll hear things about her that aren't true and to trust her. The line about calling her bluff is also mentioned in a couple of her other songs where she talks about how they tried to play casual and almost ended before they put their cards on the table. As always I vote for This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things next
Don't blame me and i did something bad - the reputation tour version are calling your name Lots of attitude and personality filled performances. Also since the movie is leaving Netflix in Dec so it'll be good to catch it before that :)
Nice reaction. I've been listening to Taylor since her very first country album. I like how she was rapping some what lol reminds me of the one rap song she made with T-Pain, called thug story

Taylor’s lyrics are about her then boyfriend Joe Alwyn. It’s a song saying do you want to be with me even if I have this reputation, things going on, celebrity…
Yea my wife told me. I found it strange because like..she has millions of streams, has just toured last year with McFly and is in her own rights a HUGE artist at this point. I always thought the voice was for people who really need the chance and the coaching. She seems like a finished product ready to go but hey - hopefully it brings her closer to her goals 🤟
@@KnoxHill Ikr! Even more a reason to react to her, right? 😄 The Voice performance or her latest single Cut You Off? Cut You Off came out 3 weeks ago and I keep going back to it several times a week. THIS is what they should play on the radio! She raps on BOTH the The Voice performance and on Cut You Off, so...
@@KnoxHill Oh, and more music news! Slipknot fired their drummer! It's been a huge topic in metal related media. There's been speculation of a new drummer, but no confirmation. (And original source everyone keeps refering to for the speculation is TH-camr Tank The Tech's video on the topic. He's a guitar technician with a reaction channel.)
@@KnoxHillApparently there was a BIG delay between auditioning/filming for that season of The Voice UK and airing the competition - like, her audition was December 2022. She hadn’t released Little Girl Gone or blown up with Ren yet. Lotta folks end up on The Voice when they can’t get past opening act status, so that wasn’t too surprising. I think when she auditioned, she was still thinking about the benefit of signing with another large label, rather than staying independent. But the entire show is pre-recorded, so she’s done with it… and given she’s been releasing new music on her own label, I think it’s safe to assume she didn’t win, ‘unfortunately.’
Taylor is most definitely a Cat Lady. One of her cats (I think it's Meredith) has a net worth of almost $100 Million due to her appearances in various commercials and music videos. Her other cats are Olivia and Benjamin Button. Benjamin was adopted when she met him on the set of her music video for "ME!"
"and i bury hatchets, but i keep maps of where i put 'em" and "i can't let you go, your handprint's on my soul. it's like your eyes are glitter, like your body is gold" are two of my favorite lyrics of all time. her pen is so STRONGGGG
2:33 taylor is 100% a cat person.i think it’s said she has 3 cats, Olivia Benson, Meredith Grey, & Benjamin Button. but her cat Olivia Benson is literally worth 97 million dollars.
I just realized she said “here’s the truth from my red lips” and it’s the first time I saw her without red lipstick 😂 she said “yea sure I’ll tell you the truth 😏😉”
I love watching you react to these because you catch stuff I would never have known to look for. Pop culture references I just missed out on, etc. It’s super cool. Have you already reacted to her parody rap song with T Pain? I think she used it as an intro for herself at the country music awards after people said she wasn’t country enough, but I might have it mixed up with something else… Still. It’s so funny. The music video is just them in a car garage being goofy. It might have been taken off TH-cam, though… Ihope not because “Thug Story” cracks me up. (just don’t watch the version someone made where they censor random words every five seconds)
Watching some of your older Taylor reaction… Ed and Taylor are good friends. He met his wife at her 4th of July party at her beachfront home in New Hampshire.
I love this song and video. It looks like they are having fun which i love. You se so many videos where people are ating or doing something they have been told, where this seems real. Also I dont know if you have checked it out but Eds song You need me I dont need you is fast and one of the most rapping type songs he has done imo.
I hope you listen to delicate from reputation! It’s probably one of my favourite Taylor songs of all time. It really plays into the pressure of society and feeling the responsibility of baggage when you enter a relationship. And the delivery and arrangement is masterful!
I'd like to see your reaction to Taylor's ROCK version of "We are Never Ever Getting Back Together". It's her ultimate pop song, but she puts a rock spin on it that is pretty impressive, imo. I'd like to see what you think.
Taylor Swift is a proud cat mom of three cats, including two Scottish Folds named Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey and a Ragdoll cat named Benjamin Button.

I just found out Chinchilla is a contestant on The Voice UK! It was filmed in December, but it's airing now, the episode she was in came out Nov 11th.
Ed also wrote his own verse 😎😎Taylor sent him the demo and he wrote his verse in 1 day 🥰🥰
react to Out of The Woods (1989 tour) pls❤
"and i bury hatchets, but i keep maps of where i put 'em"
and
"i can't let you go, your handprint's on my soul. it's like your eyes are glitter, like your body is gold"
are two of my favorite lyrics of all time. her pen is so STRONGGGG
Loveee your TSwift content!!! Keep it coming!!
That was really good!
Ed Sheeran met his wife at Taylor Swifts 4th of July party. Him and TS have been friends for like a decade.
I love watching you react to these because you catch stuff I would never have known to look for. Pop culture references I just missed out on, etc. It’s super cool.
Have you already reacted to her parody rap song with T Pain? I think she used it as an intro for herself at the country music awards after people said she wasn’t country enough, but I might have it mixed up with something else…
Still. It’s so funny. The music video is just them in a car garage being goofy. It might have been taken off TH-cam, though… Ihope not because “Thug Story” cracks me up. (just don’t watch the version someone made where they censor random words every five seconds)
This song is so underrated, love your reaction as always ❤
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I dm you on IG thanks you for thissssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always love your breakdowns
On point with Sabrina the teenage witch
You always test all my english in your outro😂😂
Watching some of your older Taylor reaction… Ed and Taylor are good friends. He met his wife at her 4th of July party at her beachfront home in New Hampshire.
I love this song and video. It looks like they are having fun which i love. You se so many videos where people are ating or doing something they have been told, where this seems real. Also I dont know if you have checked it out but Eds song You need me I dont need you is fast and one of the most rapping type songs he has done imo.
Love this ❤️
2:45 there is a modern Sabrina the Teenage witch lol
I hope you listen to delicate from reputation! It’s probably one of my favourite Taylor songs of all time. It really plays into the pressure of society and feeling the responsibility of baggage when you enter a relationship. And the delivery and arrangement is masterful!
Finally someone who doesn't hate on Ed's parts lmaoo love you knox
I'd like to see your reaction to Taylor's ROCK version of "We are Never Ever Getting Back Together". It's her ultimate pop song, but she puts a rock spin on it that is pretty impressive, imo. I'd like to see what you think.
Was thinking of when I saw your silouhette in gold at casino
please listen to dear john and would’ve could’ve should’ve ❤
React to the I did Something Bad AMA Performance! It’s her best baddie performance 😝😝🫢💖💖
Taylor Swift is a proud cat mom of three cats, including two Scottish Folds named Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey and a Ragdoll cat named Benjamin Button.
All Reputation album songs need to react there
I'd love for you to do Wildest Dreams, Out of the Woods, and Style
please react to "don't blame me" rep tour performance its insane
😊
4:39 I can say this, as an artist, I will never date an artist again. Too much... emotion. I'm bad enough with my feelings.
