Great laptop with a few flaws like soldered memory, no SD card reader and only micro SD card. But the biggest con I the soldered memory so can't take advantage of higher ram configurations in dual channel.

Amd ryzen 3 / 3250 4 gb ddr4 ram anakart onboard ben de ekstra 250-300 TL 'ye 8 Gb ram alıp guclendirdim , 256 ssd var sonra dilersen yükseltirsin. Fan i çok ses yapmıyor oyun açtığımda doğal olarak her laptop gibi bir 'vuuuv' 😃sesi var doğal yani incecik kasa soğutma kanalları iyi ayarlanmış.
A very good tutorial video and thank you. I just have one question in regards to the ram upgrades that you mentioned it can be upgraded to 16g of ram. The Asus text book says 12g would be the maximum, could you please confirm whether I could upgraded to 16g? thanks

Hi just want to ask. my laptop is also Asus, Asus x409ja-bv486t P1410CJ . My soldered ram was 4GB 2133mhz then I added 8GB 2666mhz and the frequency that is working on was 2666mhz. Does the set up affect my CPU? Because everytime I'm opening a new tab in chrome or new application my CPU which is i3 1005G1 is having a 100percent processing, then after seconds it go back to its normal processing percentage in task manager :(

you can upgrade upto 16gb ram. There is one SSD m.2 NVme slot which can upgrade to 1tb. you need his remove the hdd

I have the same model and it has a 4GB 2666Mhz ram built-in but working in 2400Mhz. Now my question is if I add a another 2400Mhz 4GB Ram will it run in Dual Channel mode or will it stick to Single Channel because my laptop has a ryzen processor and Dual Channel is a must .

So mine came with 4 GB soldered to the board and an 8 gig in the slot for a grand total of 12 GB. I was told told by Asus that 12 GB was maximum, is that true? And mine came with the 1 TB HDD no M.2 installed. The cooling in this laptop really sucks, is there a way to install better fan instead of the one that's currently inside?
