If your research method is applied to ancient mosques in Indonesia before repairing the Qibla direction to Makkah, of course you can almost certainly conclude your research that the Kaaba is located in Mozambique or Tanzania.

What's even more interesting about this event, outside of the battle of Islam within is the foundation of Islam came at a very very interesting time when the western catholic church had a schism with the eastern orthodox church. The eastern orthodox churches were in accordance with the original teachings of Jesus and the bible where as Rome was already HIGHLY paganized in its observance of Christianity, if you can even call it christianity anymore. If you look at the map of what Islam came to control pre 1492 it literally covered everywhere that Catholicism did not. Can this all be a coincidence? When you start digging into the name of Allah and the symbology used in the cycle moon and star it starts to get crazy. I practiced Islam faithfully for 3 years and they are very dedicated to Maryiam as being the true intercessor of God rather than Jesus. Basically, the way the Qu'ran tells it that Maryiam was so faithful in her obedience of God and she begged everyday to be a part of the 'church', to make a difference and that's why God chose her to give her Jesus, to be a prophet and key member of the church who Maryiam could have true influence through. That's actually what sold me on Islam was the fact that it seemed to tie up the loose ends of Christianity so well or so I thought at the time. Now I'm glad to have had that experience and can understand ALL of it so much deeper. I can see the deception so much better. I leave you with this one bite. Mohammed was married to a woman named Khadija before he became all world famous. Her cousin was Waraquah. She was a Roman Catholic Meccan before Islam took over the east.

Here’s just one in the video link below the info 👍
Coins that couldn’t have been minted if the Abbasid Mohammad of Islam was real.
They show that Islam and the Abbasid Mohammad of Islam (Surah 33:40) didn’t exist in the 7th Century.
      1. The earliest Arab coins were minted in 641 in the Persian fashion with the Bismallah (In the name of the Gracious and Merciful God). Soon after other coins with Abdullah (Servant of God) appeared. When this title used singularly on a coin by Arab anti-Trinitarian Christians, it referred to Christ.
When combined with a name for example; ‘Abd Allah ibn al Zubayr’ it was a ‘nom de guerre’.
      2. The earliest coins with Mohammad (Praised/Blessed One referring to Christ) are minted in the style of Persian coins shortly after the fall of the Sasanian Empire.
Their coins typically have the ruler depicted in the Persian style but with four *crescent moons around the ring, with Muhammad (Christ) written on the outside. The three earliest examples found by archaeologists were minted in Sirjan (Iran) in 659, in Zaranj (Afghanistan) in 661, and in Ray (modern day Tehran in Iran).
      3. Circa the time of **Abdul al Malik (Reign 685-705);
      A. In Beisan in Palestine a copper Christian coin which has the Christian Fish and Mohammad (Christ) on it.
      B. In 1947 a find of a rectangular copper coin in Palestine caused quite a stir. On the front it depicts a Christian Ruler holding a long cross, on the back there is a large M with a Christian Cross above it, and below the M the word Mohammad (Christ).
If the ***Mohammad of Islam had been a real figure these coins could never have been produced. Indeed, it is now (outside the Muslim/Islamic World) accepted by Islamic scholars he never existed.
*By 682-683 the crescent moons had been replaced by Christian Crosses.
**Both Abdul al Malik and his brother were followers of the Christian Anti-Trinitarian sect and had Christian symbols on their coins, for example Malik’s brother had crosses etc.
***Abdul al Malik sent a directive throughout his kingdom that the term ‘Mohammad’ was to be used to refer to Christ

Persians have traded with China long before Islam arrived. They brought with them Zoroastrianism, Manichaeism and Nestorian Christianity. However, Taoism and Buddhism were the main religion in China in the Tang dynasty. Islam came slightly later. The Abbasid caliphate fought against the Tang dynasty in Central Asia and that defined their border. In late Tang dynasty, massive rebellions broke out. Huang Chao, led the rebellion army into Guangzhou and massacred most of the Arabs and Persians there. Islam flourished again in the coastal cities in south China during the Mongolian empire.

But the Quran claims to be God’s message, and God’s message is protected from alteration, untampered. If it is true that Abbasid dynasty had altered the Quran, that means it is a book written by human, not the original message by God. The whole foundation of Islam is shaken. Muslims will not tolerate this and they would only deny it as heresy and they would want jihad and Dan Gibson dead.

There is story in Thabary history book which told Abraham, Hajar, and Ismail moved to 'Mecca' :
According to .. . Mujahid and other scholars: When God pointed out
to Abraham the place o f the House and told him how to build the sanctuary,
he set out to do the job and Gabriel went with him. It was said that
whenever he passed a town he would ask, “Is this the town which Gods
command meant, O Gabriel?” And Gabriel would say: “Pass it by.”
At last they reached Mecca, which at that time was nothing but acacia trees,
mimosa, and thorn trees, and there was a people called AMALEKITES outside Mecca and its surroundings.
The HOUSE (Bayt/Kabah) at that time was but a HILL of RED CLAY.
Abraham said to Gabriel, “Was it here that I was ordered to leave
them?” Gabriel said, “Yes.” Abraham directed Hagar and Ishmael to go to AL-HIJR and settled them down there.
He commanded Hagar, the mother of Ishmael, to find shelter there. Then he said, “My Lord, I have
settled some of my posterity in an uncultivable valley near Your Holy House . . . that they may be thankful” (Quran 14:37).
Then he journeyed back to his family in Syria, leaving the two o f them at the House.
From that story we can see some points :
    1. the place where they reach Mecca is where Amalekites tribe sorrounding Mecca (Petra?) see here bible-history.com/biblemaps/the-amalekites
    2. the House (Bayt/Ka'bah) nothing at that time but still in HILL form with RED CLAY (Petra is called by Red Rose city)
from this finding Abraham and Ishmael raised the Bayt/Ka'bah on the HILL. it is interesting that GREAT TEMPLE in Petra was built on the Hill about 20 meters high from road.
    3. it was mentioned AL-HIJR, in English Hijr is stone/rock. Petra is greek name with the meaning is also stone/rock.

@@skepticalorganism6716 I don't want to discuss whether the story is true or not, or Abraham is a real or fictional character. My intention is how the Holy Book and History Book describe the story. Qur'an not mention in detail the story, but Bible does. Hajar and Ishmail were sent away by Sarah, and because Hajar came from Egypt, so maybe Abraham would bring them back to Egypt, but God "order" to place them in somewhere called wilderness in Paran. To go to Egypt from Israel there is a well known road way through King's Highway and that road pass the Petra, this is more "logical" than Abraham sent his son and wife to Saudi Arabia which is about 1500 km by Camel 😆

Honestly , This whole idea of Petra being the birthplace of Islam seems at odds with history, especially wten objectively studying archaeological and other historical materials:
    - Petra was abandoned due to earthquakes and fires resulting from them
    - The Nabateans moved their political center to Busra al Sham , Bostra, now in southern Syria, and this city became an important cutlural center, so one would expect any religious renewal movement to start there
-The Petra Papyri are a cache of documents discovered in what was likely a burnt church in Petra , they are written in Greek by the local Arab Bisho, and are mainly legal documents and records dealing with issues such as marriage contracts, inheritance, disputes over land and property. These documents provide us a glimpse into that Period ,yet there is no indication that there were any religious renewal movements, or any sort of political change.
-Petra at the time of the rise of Islam was part of the Byzantine empire, the Byzantines wanted to keep the region under their control as a buffer Zone to protect against raiding Nomads from Northern Arabia, as well as from Persian Sassanid invasions which had many times laid waste to many important cities, one would think that the rise of a new secessionist religious movement would be important to the Byzantine authorities and its local Arab vassals, yet there is no mention of such a movement in the regions controlled by the Byzantines in the Southern Levant, surely the last thing they would want to see is a local power pushing for independence both political and religious, Greek,Roman and Byzantine authorities always to crush such movements , be it Palmyra under Zenobia, Judea under the Hasmonians, Samaria under Julianus, The Arab Tanukh confederation of Mavia or any other local independence asserting powers, especially if such movements are claiming to be a new faith.

There is no and never existed a Kaaba in Petra. The Gibson’s Kaaba is only an old sacrificial altar. This structure is well identified by a French archeologist team, directed by François Renel, who work 20 years in Petra. Also, the Department of Antiquities of Jordan approved their studies. Gibson never show and will never show any paper of this studies. No archeologist approves Gibson’s hypothesis.
Gibson base is finding on Al-Azraqi measurement of the Kaaba. But those don’t fit on the structure in Petra. So, Gibson try to trick people by showing an unclear image of his so-called Kaaba and stick the Al-Azraqi measurement on it. Not honest at all!
But Gibson forgot that he said that Al-Azraqi destroyed the Kaaba ‘’to the ground’’ and also took off its foundation stones. So, nothing left of the Kaaba structure in Petra. But his so-called Kaaba in Petra has a remain of stones of 2.5m high! So, the Al-Azraqi’s report doesn’t fit with Gibson story.
In Petra, the structure is a block full of stones that you can just walk on it. But the real Kaaba is made of 4 walls and you can enter in. Different structures!

@@joshcryer Yes, you should compare Gibson’s measurement and archeologists’ measurement.
Gibson in his video ‘’ A&I 4 Measuring Ka'ba’’ shows a very unclear satellite image of that structure, very little on the image, and put red lines without any scale saying his measurements and saying it’s a good fit! He thinks all are naïve and will believes him.
Gibson said it’s the same measurement of Al-Azraki, (cubit to meter):
      It’s not a perfect rectangle: 14.63m x 10.6m x 14.17m x 9.1m
In another video ‘’ A&I 3 The Ka'ba’’ at 6:50 Gibson says that this structure it’s a rebuilt version of the Kaaba. Again, he thinks all are naïve and will believe him.
The French archeologist team directed by François Renel has presented architect plans of the structure identify as a sacrificial altar with a scale and descriptions. With the scale, you can measure it and see that it’s a perfect rectangle of about 14m x 17m.
The measurements are not the same, so Gibson is debunked.

These people are stupid. Before the first mosque was made and before the revelation came down for them to face qibla when praying they would face Jerusalem to pray. First of all anyone with even a little intelligence can research and study for themselves and see that this Dan guy made a mistake in the first 5 mins of the video. He claimed Mecca to be a trading town, but there isn’t one place in the Muslim history we’re that claim was made. Anyone that even studied the history would have known that the people of Makkah use to travel with their goods in caravans to trading towns or routes and they would stay there until they traded all their goods and then they would return back to Makkah with their profits. So straight away in the first 5 mins he makes a mistake and continues to lie Upon that mistake. How can you even take anything this guy says to be reliable when he made a big mistake on something that’s so small and the information is accessible for anyone with their own brains and eyes to witness and read and understand. His been studying Middle East for 30 years seems like to me he wasted 30 years to push his own opinionated narrative even tho there is no where in the Islamic history point to what he even said remotely. Dan is not credible at all. How can someone that claims to study for 30 years get something so small and that which is common knowledge on anyone that even knows the history a little will even tell you he doesn’t know what his talking about.

Another big mistake he made that anyone that knows the history of Islam knows his wrong and to be honest this guy talks out his ass. How can you make two three big mistakes within the first 5 mins of your video and then claim to have studied for 30years. What type of stupid academic do you have to be to study for 30 years only to get the basic information completely wrong. He claimed Makkah was known as the mother of cities. No where was that claim ever made and also there is no other non Muslims academic that even makes that claim except Dan. Every person from history or any academic that studied Islam will tell you it was a town of tribes, a village of tribes. The city of Makkah was known to be a place of tribes not a place which was mother of cities. What a outlandish stupid claim where did he even get this information from. Not once does he provide any evidence where it was called that. Everyone knows the city of Makkah was full of tribes that ruled the city. It was a city of tribes a village of tribes. So how can he make many mistakes in the first 5 mins of the video that is meant to be basic knowledge and his somehow the only to make these claims. Bruh the funny thing is how many people are so stupid that they would listen to what he says and they would just believe, they won’t even check to see wether what he said is true or not. Man how low can the human intellect go. People no days are just too stupid and easily swayed and manipulated

Without prejudice, I conclude the following
    (a) DG acknowledge the existence of Prophet Mohamed saw and Islam
    (b) Issue is the location of the area labelled as Mecca ie where the prophet lives. DG contend that based on historical "evidence" and "archaeological findings" the actual location of Mecca was in Petra. Unfortunately, no documentation exists in the Romans/Byzantine Empire Collection that Mecca exists in Petra despite being 150miles from Jerusalem. It was the Romans that concurred with Petra in 106AD and name it "Arabia Petraea" They continued to rule over the city for more than 250 years until the middle of the fourth century A.D. when an earthquake destroyed many of its buildings. The Byzantines eventually took control of the region and governed Petra for some 300 years. (ie until circa 600AD). This means that they would have records of Mohamed, Mecca and Ka'abah if it is in Petra
    (c) The movie uses 2 unknown Arabic Christians to support DG's findings. This is an attempt to show Arabic Muslims agree with him.
    (d) He was using Al-Tabari books as references. The fact shows that Al Tabari lives 839-923AD ie over 200 years after the prophet died means that his collections are based on 3rd party statements which are hard to be corroborated. Like Plato records, it has to be taken with great caution (a pinch of salt). Similarly when it comes to Al-Bukhari Hadith
    (e) Had indeed the Prophet been a Nabatean (and not Arab), the early Quran would be written in Aramaic and not Arabic. This is confirmed by the Birmingham scripture on an animal skin in Arabic that has been carbon-dated to the time of the Prophet. Watch: th-cam.com/video/jowQond7_UE/w-d-xo.html
    (f) Ka'abah being rebuilt and moving from one location to another may be true. The question is move from where to where? It is unlikely from Petra. Rebuilding is a norm due to the ravages of time. We have seen ancient buildings degenerate over time.
    (g) Location of Hubaidiyah based on literature and treaty of Hubaidiyah which correlates to the present-day location of Mecca
    (h) In the early part of the documentary (39-41), references were made to Al Bukhari's hadith as a supporting argument but in a later part, you questioned the validity of the Hadith that was written over 200 years of the prophet's death. Isn't this ironic as you would use the Hadith when it favours you?
    Albukhari 26: 645 as selectively chosen www.iium.edu.my/deed/hadith/bukhari/026_sbt.html
Albukhari 3:891 as found in many references is different from what you have given in the documentary. Example: www.iium.edu.my/deed/hadith/bukhari/050_sbt.html
    (i) Civil war (fitna) (Year 680-692):
Quote,"The Second Fitna was a period of general political and military disorder and civil war in the Islamic community during the early Umayyad caliphate. It followed the death of the first Umayyad caliph Mu'awiya I in 680 and lasted for about twelve years. The war involved the suppression of two challenges to the Umayyad dynasty, the first by Husayn ibn Ali, as well as his supporters including Sulayman ibn Surad and Mukhtar al-Thaqafi who rallied for his revenge in Iraq, and the second by Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr.
The roots of the civil war go back to the First Fitna. After the assassination of the third caliph Uthman, the Islamic community experienced its first civil war over the question of leadership, with the main contenders being Ali and Mu'awiya. Following the assassination of Ali in 661 and the abdication of his successor Hasan the same year, Mu'awiya became the sole ruler of the caliphate. Mu'awiya's unprecedented move to nominate his son, Yazid, as his heir sparked opposition and tensions soared after Mu'awiya's death"
    (j) Muslims do not pray towards any city but rather face the Kaabah. If indeed the Kaabah was relocated, then Muslim's prayer direction remains unchanged ie facing Kaabah
    (k) I have, via email proof of your mistake on an early mosque in Malaysia facing petra. You admitted to the mistake. How is it you can make such a mistake? Are there any other mistakes you made?
(l)Al Tabri's historical rendition is available online: www.kalamullah.com/Books/The%20History%20Of%20Tabari/Tabari_Volume_18.pdf
For the year 70 - There are 2 parts
    (FEBRUARY 9, 669-JANUARY 28, 670) and ( JANUARY 29, 670-JANUARY 17, 671)
Total 28 pages and not few lines
    (m) By DG's own findings and by Islamic records and Quranic verses (Surah al-Baqarah, 2:144), the direction of Qibla changed towards Mecca from Jerusalem during the prophet's time while living in Madinah. This remains until today. Isn't this proof enough that Mecca in ancient times is where it is today?
The evidence is overwhelming that DG's is wrong

I am absolutely fascinated by the archeological evidence you have shown in your 30+ years of study..
    My question..
I have reviewed images of the inside of the holy Kaaba in which it can be seen the direction of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed to which is marked with white tiling on the floor, which I believe to be the wall of between the Yemini and Syrian corners, opposite the door of the holy Kaaba (Image attached).

For the Gibson's Kaaba in Petra ...
There is no and never existed a Kaaba in Petra. The Gibson’s Kaaba is only an old roman sacrificial altar. This structure is well identified by a French archeologist team, directed by Françcois Renel, who work 20 years in Petra.
So in an other video, Gibson try to trick people by showing an unclear image of his so-called Kaaba and stick the Al-Azraqi measurement on it. Not honest at all!
But Gibson forgot that he said that Al-Azraqi destroyed the Kaaba ‘’to the ground’’ and also took off its foundation stones. So, nothing suppose to be left of the Kaaba structure in Petra. But his so-called Kaaba in Petra has a remain of stones of 2.5m high! So, the Al-Azraqi’s report doesn’t fit with Gibson story.
In Petra, the structure is a block full of stones that you can just walk on it. But the real Kaaba is made of 4 walls that you can enter in. Different structures!

    • @hans471
      @hans471 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Could you give your reference that it is an old roman altar? Even that would not contradict the statements of Dan Gibson since the Kaaba could have been built on the structure of a roman altar (which would not have been used anymore at that time). Also the fact that the Kaaba was raised to the ground doesn't contradict the fact that some basic structure would be left (can you give a reference for your claim here"). Obviously the Kaaba would have been built upon these foundation structures so I dont
see your problem with the four walls. Finally, you claim that Dan Gibsons measurements are not correct where do you get that info from?
DG gives some reference but I agree that it would be better if he would more systematically make his sources available.

At the beginning of the video (0:45), it is saying that ‘’every day 5 times a day they face a black rock …’’ For us Muslims when we hear that we know that’s from a liar because we don’t face the black rock, there is nothing in the religion or in the Quran that we have to face the black rock 5 times a day to pray. We face the Kaaba not because of the black rock.
I did my research on the Gibson’s Kaaba. I saw his video and read his writing on the subject. Also I searched what others (like archeologists) say about this supposed Kaaba in Petra. And all say the same, it’s an old roman altar and find great documentation. You should do your own research.
For measurements of the Kaaba, you should compare Gibson’s measurement and archeologists’ measurement.

Disputes about qibla direction does not change the truth of Islam. And Allah says in the Quran, "It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces to the East and the West; but righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Scripture and the prophets; and giveth wealth, for love of Him, to kinsfolk and to orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and to those who ask, and to set slaves free; and observeth proper worship and payeth the poor-due. Padahal banyak tempat yg ciri-cirinya sama.Sama sekali tdk ilmiah. Justru anda jgn kaget 50 th lagi atau 100 thn lagi Mekkah/arab Saudi ditumbuhi rumput-runput dan pohon-pohon, Itulah salah satu tanda-tanda akhir zaman. Sekarang saya sdh kelihatan tanda-tandanya. I find your videos fascinating and instantly believe that there is much truth to what you say. The murder of Ali, Hasan and Husayn clearly shows Islam was hijacked and faced threats. When Muslims are burning copies of the Quran whilst trying to compile it and the members of ahl al bayat are being brutally murdered, it's clear something's not right. My spouse is descended from the Islamic prophet through Ali and Fatimah and I've seen the family tree but my in-laws say they don't like to mention it because pride is sinful. However, when I looked at the family tree it was clear that for several 100s of years, heirs were murdered. I believe people keep quiet about being related to the Prophet out of fearing for their life. I always wondered how many members actually survived but went into hiding after the prophet died. Karbala has always fascinated me. Are the remains of Imam Husayn really there in its entirety? The gathering for 10 muharram is larger than what we see in Mecca

In fact, for the prophet Muhammad pbuh, it is literally the opposite direction. We do not worship the black stone, but we worship Allah the Creator. However
In the Quran Allah swt tells us that this was the first time a messenger had been sent to this community and their city had never been destroyed
This is why we would not expect archaeological findings which are typically associated with cities that were destroyed through some calamity
On the other hand Petra is a city that has been destroyed and so could not be the birth place of Islam
    Beyond that Allah knows best
