WOW! I think i will make an indoor BLIZZARD to surround me and drive my kitties deliriously happy as they twirl around from the ceiling!!!! I can see so many fun ways to easily sparkle these up too! thanks!! and no hot glue! that's a real bonus haaaaaa!! simplistic beauty....just like the real snowflakes!! ❄❄❄
I've taught these to my primary school students. No reason to rule lines. And clear sticky tape or staples work a lot better (also quicker and more secure) than waiting for the dabs of glue to dry when making the 6 sections before putting it all together. It works really well with 6 sheets A4 photocopy paper cut down into squares before folding. They look very dramatic hanging from the ceiling or pinned to a wall. But it also makes beautiful Christmas tree ornaments if you use 10cm patterned origami paper.
I made them with primary age children too. We measured the 2cm divisions and ruled faint lines across but didn't bother with the 1cm stopper line; we just stopped cutting before the end. No rubbing out required. Glue sticks were good for the curls but staples were best for attaching all of the sections together.
I have this idea to buy/make everyone in my sunday school class a present and get to church early and put the presents in their seats and also decorate the room like a winter wonderland and this video really helps me out tremendously!
I love making these kind of snowflakes I've been showing everyone at my old school loved it and they all wanted me to show them how to make them there amazing I think everyone should do the snowflakes this Christmas
This is awesome. It is a little time consuming, but easy-to-make, beautiful snowflakes.I am a student and this is just perfect for our school decoration for christmas. It s very good.LOVE IT
Eh, this paper snowflake reminds me my few years spent in the elementary school :) Every year, when Christmas was coming, my classroom always had this snowflakes hanged at, as a major decoration ^^ Cool that.
My cousin made a bunch of these (she watched them on the exact same channel as well!) and gave them to me and I looked at this video and was able to make one! 1 down, 29 more to go, the big ones, not small, well, like, 5 small ones! ^_
Really lovely snowflake, easy to make, also the song is beautiful! I cut my papers and will fold it in the morning...off to bed for now! (great thing to sleep over a lovely paper craft project! ^_^ )
It turned out gorgeous! I made the mistake of using thinner paper, so it crinkled in a couple of places, but it's still awesome. And I'll know to pick thicker paper next time. Thank you for the great tutorial! :)))
I still remember I made this few years ago with pink colour a4 sheet. I liked the video very much and the background music is just soothing with this video background.
That was amazing!!! I have a tutorial that shows many different patterns and usage of snowflakes...but I have never done a 3D snowflake before...This indeed is added to the "Step Up to the Challenge" List. Thanks so much for sharing such a creative idea! I love it!
going to try making some of these for my daughters 6th birthday next Sunday. Frozen themed party and mom is not rich, besides most of the items she wants for her party are sold out everywhere.... Plus, I love to make stuff instead of buying it. It means more and I have fun doing it :)
I've tried doing these paper decorations myself, it looks wonderful. ..!! I've also made use of (stuck) silver foil on one side to add a bit more glow to these decors🔸
I must say thank you....loved the music, and wish I could hear more. I have been making these stars x 3years, and each year I start off confused about "how" to cut.....thanks, Iam on my way! jacqui
Wow!! That is amazing!! I'm definitely going to make some (hopefully with my Mum) at Christmas .. One of these could go on the top of the tree! So fabulous .. Great tutorial. Thanks so much :)) I can't WAIT to do it. I wish I could get 2 toned paper easily here .. Really makes a difference. I guess you could water colour or paint one side? Where there is a will .. There is a way! Hehe. Thanks again :))
I Am God by "innocent" people you mean drug addicts who victimize other innocent citizens (rape ,murder, etc...) because of drugs and not to mention fighting back from the police?
I wonder what is the smallest size one can make of these. Might be fun to try and make one as small as possible just to see. Martha Stewart has a ruler thingy that cuts these out in seconds.
