Beginner Youtube Setup | Film QUALITY videos on Iphone

- Hi guys! Today I wanted to share my beginner youtube setup. When I first started making youtube videos, I was pretty overwhelmed with what gear I needed to get started. After a couple of months of creating, I've found a setup that works great for me AND doesn't break the bank.
If you want to get started making youtube videos, all you really need is a smartphone and a wifi connection - but if you're looking to 'level up' your production quality, these pieces can be a good way to get started!
Also, I know that 'budget' items are kind of subjective, and the items that I talk about in the video may not be available to you. Please don't let this stop you from making videos, and work with what you have! I just wanted to share what's been working for me.
Also, if you're ready this, happy thanksgiving:)

Thanks for the tips❤
hey! i’m watching this after watching the social media addiction video you made (i also really have struggled with this and i’m considering deleting everything) but really enjoyed this video too! i’m also trying out the digital nomad life and was in guatemala and argentina over the winter! i’m 24 y/o female and planning to travel for the rest of 2024 and a little into 2025, always looking for fellow female digital nomads to connect with!! :)
Hi Kayla!! Aw I love that, and always happy to connect!! Unfortunately, my time as a digital nomad is coming to end and I'm moving to a permanent spot for awhile, because of job issues (bummer, I know). But, if you ever need any advice, I'm here!
loved this video!! great tips. I completely agree that you don't need any fancy stuff at al, literally an iPhone/camera phone (yes im old and say camera phone lol) and you're good to go. I reached 11k subs with literally just my phone and a mike. funny story, I reached 600 subs using what I thought was functional external microphone but then it turns out I had the mike plugged in wrong and I had been using the microphone on my phone the whole time. sooooooooo microphones are optional lol. I also used VLLO as an editor on my phone and capcut, vllo is awesome and I think 12 USD a year, capcut is completely free.
also dang I love this background.
ok my last stalker-esque comment - Amanda, don't stop making videos!!!!!!!!
ok I lied, one more. What channels are you watching to improve your storytelling/filmmaking etc?
Hahaha omg nooo not the mic mix up😅 That's going to be me whenever I get a microphone lmao
Don't fall too in love with background, I have one more video with it then I'm moving on to my next place in Mexico, I'm going to seriously miss it. As for channels I'm watching, I really, REALLY like Life of Riza's videos. I have to be careful using her as a source of inspiration though, because her production quality is so good it can be intimidating.
I also love Elizabeth Filips, and how she always manages to provide great value in her videos. Ahhh honestly there's so many people I look up to on this platform, it's crazy!
Hey Amanda , really nice video! I was wondering if I could help you enhance Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your video to reach to a wider audience .
Hey, thanks for the offer! Right now I'm focused on learning editing/thumbnail creation myself, but again I appreciate you reaching out!
@@AmandasLifeNotes Could I help you for free , as I could like to connect with you ?
Hi! I'm not interested at this time, thank you!@@Divy91311
