This is brilliant, these London clips are the dogs, dont like all the bands'myself but is an outstanding collection, great quality and sound, a real treat! So pleased Discharge have got back in the groove, new singer has really done them proud.

I wish the sound had been recorded through the desk, Rainy is one of the most focused musicians Ive ever seen, he didnt look at the audience once. He looked to be playing some very cool bass parts but they werent coming through because of the sound. Great gig BTW
Most of the time recording through the desk sounds dead and shit. It would have to be blended with the ambiance sound. Especially if the sound in the desk is mixed badly.
@@PunkLiveInLondon I agree through the desk recordings can sound dead and dull missing the sound of the ambience in the room, sound of audience etc. A mic rigged from the ceiling above the audience and centre of the pa speakers mixed in with the desksound would definatley add the room ambience to a desk mix and wouldnt make it sound as dead and dull. Even a Zoom type stereo recorder with the built in compressor in place of a ceiling rigged mic would also record a cool room sound that could be easily mixed and synced with the vid footage. Im not trying to be a "smartarseknowitall" I love your vids so keep up the goodwork.

Even the last album is my fav out of all of them which says a lot for this version of Discharge.

when shooting 2 cams from similar position - 1 cam must stay zoomed in and the other wide otherwise you get awful jump cut effect when you switch between them.
That was a great sounding gig. Up loud in the venue sounded really powerful. As I mentioned before, I saw the early band line ups. This is the best I've seen them. Bones, Tez, and Rainy, All originals, with a vocalist who sounds better than Cal.
cal was great in the early days of the band mate, but lets not forget what he did to discharge while selling out everything he stood for. Even if Cal came back in the band today hes alot older and its unlikely hed be all over the stage like he used to.

Poor Cal the old (orig)lead singer ...I saw them in San Francisco in 1986 at the ill fated Grave New World tour where they were pelted with piiza tomatoes and at least one garbage can. What a shock and too bad because the music on that album was actually pretty solid
+John Reddy All of the original members apart from Cal are in this line up. Original bass player, also Tez (their first drummer) on guitar, and Bones on lead guitar. I've seen them in the early 80s when Cal was on vocals and this line up now is the best I've ever seen them. Superb vocals.

First saw these live in London 1981 still have all original records etc they still sound good but the vocalist hasn't made up his mind if he wants to be Cal or Rat on stage more a Rat clone i would say Varukers & GBH so much better then & now

Tez on the far side on guitar was the original drummer on the early singles. And we have Bones here on lead guitar. Three original members here.
