Tales of misfortunes keep it together you are a great singer-songwriter I'm 65 been playing and singing all my life and I love your voice you got it good dude keep on
Just in the process of getting my class 1 ,, gona be bringing your music with me from coast to coast,, keep on keeping on ,, true artists are still among us,, cheers
He’s not bad, definitely a generic sound here recently. Tbf, he’s a lot better than I am at singing and playing, but that voice seems to be changing, hopefully for the better.
@@that1guy899 which is exactly why I don't listen to the radio anymore. there has however been a resurgence of incredibly talented artists. you just have to look for them, we have Colter Wall, Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Drayton Farley, Charles Wesley Godwin, Benjamin Tod who is or was, I don't know if he still is a member of the lost dog street band, there's nick shoulders, Colby Acuff, Oliver Anthony and many others. I believe we are at a turning point in the music industry where people are starting to get tired of the cut and paste, corporatized bullshit that we've been stuck with for the past one or two decades, that combined with the fact that its becoming easier and easier for this sort of artist to not only have a large platform to perform on, but make a living off of their music gives me hope that we will see actually talented artists take the mainstage in the near future.
I wish my pawpaw could hear this. I would help him carry grain down in on the leaf river and id help him tend the pot. Only ever made brandy a few times. From the time i was 8, you just made this ol boy cry!! Dont ever slack up son!
It’s pathetic but honestly more people know good music then you think they just wanna fit in so they won’t talk about it they only talk about garbage radio hits and rap with horrible messages
I don't think I've ever missed my old friends in the way this song just made me feel. God damn this is good, I can hear all my friends around the fire, drinking, plucking, telling stories till the sun comes up. Thank you, sir.
I came for the ugly Christmas sweater and the broken guitar and.... I was not disappointed 😢❤. Man... youngins like you are bringing the soul back to this genre. Your lyrics, your guitar playing, your style, it's everything we've been missing! Keep it up man. Much love ❤❤
When I was younger and playing music, I always had a song list taped to my guitar in that exact same place. I love this video. I'm old now. Go for it Colby. You are great.
I was listening to this mountain Brandy song and here comes Maddie my black cat... Stepped on my phone and hit the subscribe button.... I guess it's a sign I'm going to leave it alone.....💫
Often imitated by some, but there is something about the Appalachian region that produces some amazing vocals which when you hear you can feel the authenticity!

I like it TOO MUCH!!! Great music!! Sadly, they don't write 'em like that anymore!! Very familiar with 'GREEN, BALL - MASON' jars, too!! Aside from being great for drinking from, I used them every harvest season canning fruits, jams, jellies, vegetables, soups, stews & even meat! Those were the days!!!💜👍
Very unique vocals, love his sound. I think the industry should be picking up these type of musicians, down to earth, real people with true heart. Just happened to click on this, now I need to hear more.

First time hearing this guy I was shocked when I heard his pipes. Looks like yet another gem from the Appalachian region
If you like one, you’ll like them all. Most have the exact same sound.

Dudes alright idk that it's anything that's exceedingly impressive
He’s not bad, definitely a generic sound here recently. Tbf, he’s a lot better than I am at singing and playing, but that voice seems to be changing, hopefully for the better.
Definitely better than that red headed fatty with the “people like me” song
Wish top 40 radio would take notice and realize what real talent looks like. This is real talent.
Unfortunately for us, stuff like this (what we recognize as real talent) doesn't sell to the masses so we'll likely never hear it on the radio.
Thank you I could not have said it better
Pure talent

it’s too bad most people can’t recognize musical talent.
everyone just wants to listen to music that makes them feel tough
It’s pathetic but honestly more people know good music then you think they just wanna fit in so they won’t talk about it they only talk about garbage radio hits and rap with horrible messages
Or maybe they just like different stuff to you? 🤔
"Boy, that was a miiiighty fine a-pickin' and a-singin'!" This is GOOD. This is what should be on country music radio.

This is why I really like country music. Some of the best singing coming from someone you’d never think would sound like that lol
These Virginia guys are just on a different level. Love is guitar playing and singing.
What an absolutely phenomenal song! Glad to see the younger generation going back to true country music.
RAW.. He's pouring it out right here. He doesn't even know how good he's doing. They can't produce this soul 2.0 no matter how swifty they get.
