Dude, your reviews are always so thoughtful and helpful. The fact that you compare this to the Speed 22 TR in your written review so we don't have to compare ourselves...thank you for being so awesome.
Just bought a pair for working out while travelling. Found that they are better than my nano X1 for weightlifting, and equally good in all the other areas.
Just received my pair for only $83 CAD after tax and shipping, was initially going to go for the Nano X2 just for the more premium feel and better colours/look but decided this was probably the better choice for someone who doesn't lift too heavy and wants to incorporate more running into my workouts, especially for $30 less. Thanks for the review Jake!
Bought a pair of these when I first started CrossFit training last year. It’s unbelievable that they lasted me 150 CF sessions. I’m getting another pair as they finally broke down but so good for its price and how comfortable they are for daily wear. Surprisingly durable and manageable for lighter wods. I’d bring these on a business trip out of town while dropping in at local boxes.
Really nice video. I think you mentioned it a bit, but do you think this shoe will fit well for lateral movement for sports like table tennis or pickleball? I used to do crossfit but kinda moving to racket sports at this time, but doesnt hurt for the shoe to be able to do many thing I guess. I still like my nano 9 I bought several years ago
Their MSRP was bumped to $100, but with a stacked pair of discounts on Reebok's site, one can cop these right now for ~ $45... so with value being one of their strong points at $90, they're a steal now.

I have 3 options at the moment: 1) nanoflex v2 at 40$ 2) nano x2 at 90$ and 3) project rock 5 at 75$ ... which one would you pick? Is it worth to go for the nano x2 at 50$ more?
Thank you for checking out the content! In re: Nano X2: Not necessarily especially if you are trying to be really mindful of your budget. I think if you're not super specific with your training, then the V2 would work well and save you money!
Great content, thank you!! Would you rather have these or the Adidas trainer V? I do mostly lifting but not going for pr every week.. and the occasional class, might start crossfit.. I'm afraid the adidas might be too stiff, what do you recommend?
They won't replicate your Speed TR 2.0s, unfortunately, but they should hold up well in this context. Also, low-key...I feel like this is just as strong as the Nano X2 which is the more "premium" model from Reebok 2022. I've been impressed with the Nanoflex V2. It's not perfect and it's not a Speed TR 2.0, but for $90 (and less if you can find a coupon code), they're a solid model.
@@lukaszpowalowski8342 Eh, not to a tee, and I know exactly the feel you're prob looking for because I also loved my Speed TR 2.0s. This model is better for lifting/cross-training while the HIIT model gives you more cushion for jumping etc. Both good, but have biases based on how you want to use them!

I do circuit training 3x per week and then weight lifting 3x per week. I was looking at the nanoflex tr2 , nano x3, Nike Metcon 5s, . But I'm also curious what you would suggest?
All of them will work well. Nike Free Metcon 5 will be the most flexible and best for HIIT/circuit, Nanoflex TR 2 would be my next suggestion as it's a good jack of all trades for a good price, and Nano X3 is also solid but I'd list them last here.
Jake, I am looking to replace my Nike Zoom Speed TR 3 (probably the best gym shoe I've ever owned - love the low rise, wide, flat sole). Do you feel these would be a comparable replacement? If not, do you have a better recommendation??
Thanks for the great review! Just to clarify, would you say these are ok for CrossFit 3 days/week or I’d need something more stable, bearing in mind I’m light and don’t lift too much?

( i dont like Nano x2 ) need shoes that are light and I think the nano shoes are heavy. am now interested in these you talk about here
These are lighter than the Nano X2, but they don't have that same lean build that the Sprint 2.0s did. Have you checked out the Reebok Speed TRs on Ebay/other retailers to see if they have any in your size? Are you interested in exploring other brands?
Hi! This may be a long shot. 😅 I just noticed in your other reviews, you mention if the shoes are good for narrow or wide feet. So I’m just wondering if you can also say which type of feet the Nanoflex TR 2 would be best for. Thanks in advance!
Hi Jake, So I bought these Nanoflex v2s after trying the X2 ( which don’t fit me because of that extra length). I’m an overpronator so naturally wearing totally flat shoes like this I felt my feet go inwards, and so I’m planning to use it with my orthotic insoles for getting that support. Will that be a problem because it’s always recommended to have flat shoes for weightlifting?
Hey! You should be okay, tbh. I have a pair of the TR version on sale, Impossible to use, to tight on mid/front foot, the largest part of my feet. Should the V2 be good or tight to since the v1 os this tight?
Hi Jake, been thinking about this for the past few weeks, but what model of Reebok is currently the closest in experience to the Nano 4? I know Reebok’s brought the heel-to-toe drop to 7mm starting with the X1, so I was hoping to see if Reebok still has a fairly-indestructible training shoe with a flatter profile.
@@thatfitfriend Oh, that’s unfortunate, yeah. I am hoping the Nanoflex v2 could at least come close, though I am seeing the MC Trainer 2 is cheaper in my area.
@@seraphoem it is in some ways, but not in the context of heel to toe drop. The MC Trainer 2 is decent! Not my fave for CrossFit, would you Nanoflex V2 over that shoe there
@@thatfitfriend Should be okay with either shoe--need the budget shoe more for walking and lighter/warmup work--but I do need to take the chance to fit and test each shoe when I can go out. Your comment about the MC Trainer 2 being a poor fit for wide feet shows a bit of a problem for me with that model, so I'm still leaning more toward the Nanoflex v2.
I tried these shoes on and they are really comfortable but I don't have extremely wide foot and they are a little big at the top, which is good because it allows me to have enough movility but at the same time I feel like my foot is going inward. I feel like it's like a split shoe, from the middle down it's hard and the top is flexible and agile. It doesn't convince me much but I don't know whether to take a chance with that model or see another one 🤔 I am a beginner in weights, maybe this model would be for a little more advanced?

Hmmm, the Nanoflex V2 may actually be a little more comfortable between the two models. The Nano X2 has a bit of a denser midsole giving it a smidge more stability! Thank you for checking out the content!
Nano X2 will be a bit more stable throughout, but the differences are pretty negligible if you're more recreational with your lifting, IMO, especially if the price point is a concern for you!
i am at the point to order them, but i have a question about the heal height, most effective range is 0,5-1inch for squatting. do you know how much the nano’s are?
Quick note, that range to describe most effective is pretty arbitrary and what’s “most” effective should be individual and not dictated by what someone has written/says. For example, you have folks who squat just as well with a 0mm heel-to-toe drop (flat foot) versus those who using weightlifting shoes/more heel elevation. All individual, amigo! The drop of these shoes is 7mm.
@@thatfitfriend thanks man! wasn’t specific enough with the 0,5-1, which was meant for myself, my ankle mobility is bad, resulting in me to squat too upright and being not stable, thats why i prefer squatting in 0,5-1 inch.
@@thatfitfriend Cheers! Was also looking at the Nano X2 Adventure but eyeing the GoRuck Ballistic Trainer. Digging the latter for the roomy toe box and versatility for casual wear. And customer service. You seem to be the only reviewer who actually uses these shoes! 😅👏🏽
They'll be okay for recreational work, IMO. They'll feel a little thicker compared to Metcons, but they're good shoe if you can find them for a nice price point! They're not super flat regarding drop (7mm), but their outsole sits "flat" for what it is!
If you want a model for mostly gym sessions, then go with these and safe the $55 USD. For outdoor training where you're hitting varied terrains, go Nano X1 Adventure or this model.
@@thatfitfriendI purchased nano flex TR V2 , first training shoes and the mesh is perfect for My slightly wider feet ! Would the nano version be good as well ? .. I’m sure u purchased x2 and returned them straight away as they were so narrow !!!!
To me the rubber outsole is not that durable for outdoor training, I’ve pretty much worn out some 1st version in adventure series in 3 months, exact same outsole. It’s way too thin in my opinion. The Nano X2 Adventure are way more solid, still have them.

@@thatfitfriend thanks man! wasn’t specific enough with the 0,5-1, which was meant for myself, my ankle mobility is bad, resulting in me to squat too upright and being not stable, thats why i prefer squatting in 0,5-1 inch.
@@thatfitfriend came to my final conclusion to buy the reebok lifter pr 2s!
@@chinoebuilder7561 ahhh gotcha! Fantastic, keep me posted on how you like them!
@@thatfitfriend Will do that! they will arrive on Wednesday and i have my squat triple @8 at Sunday so i am really excited
Heey,
Are they good for jumping rope and lateral moving?
Greetings from Croatia
Yeah, they're pretty good!
These have a beautiful retro vibe. Amazing for $100.
How do they compare to the Adidas Dropset, which I have sitting in my cart?
They're solid! Better for CF if you plan to use em in that context. Also a bit more comfortable for versatile work.
how flat are these shoes? will they be good for recreational weightlifting and do you know how they would compare to a nike metcon?
They'll be okay for recreational work, IMO. They'll feel a little thicker compared to Metcons, but they're good shoe if you can find them for a nice price point!
They're not super flat regarding drop (7mm), but their outsole sits "flat" for what it is!
Can i use this for rope climbing ?
Should be okay!
are these safe for your feet for everyday use?
Should be fine, IMO!
Supp? Are these more breathable versus TR? Best gaintings from Poland 😏
Imo, yes!
I can use it for rope climb?
Yeah, should be fine!
Honestly I think these are the best all rounder gym shoes available.
And at a sick price!
These or the Adventure 2?
If you want a model for mostly gym sessions, then go with these and safe the $55 USD. For outdoor training where you're hitting varied terrains, go Nano X1 Adventure or this model.
Whats different between nanoflexv2 and nanoflextr2.0, I'm so confused😂
Literally nothing from what I understand. Idk why Reebok does this with their naming and the TR models.
@@thatfitfriendI purchased nano flex TR V2 , first training shoes and the mesh is perfect for
My slightly wider feet ! Would the nano version be good as well ? .. I’m sure u purchased x2 and returned them straight away as they were so narrow !!!!
@@Semaj.18272 I don’t mind the X2’s fit but we obv have different foot anatomies. Stoked the V2 work!
Just purchased a pair for 58.00
Best allrounder shoes??
For what? We talking training shoes?
Yes more on the weight traing side
To me the rubber outsole is not that durable for outdoor training, I’ve pretty much worn out some 1st version in adventure series in 3 months, exact same outsole. It’s way too thin in my opinion. The Nano X2 Adventure are way more solid, still have them.
Hey! Would you recommend to go with these or rather Nano X1 Grit? There's just a 10$ difference (with Nanoflex being the cheaper ones)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
I would Nanoflex V2. They're underrated, IMO!
Jump squat with trap bar?! ☠️
Good variation to work on velocity due to foot/hand placement.
@@thatfitfriend it seems somehow safer than box jumps yet harder. RIP my hips.
Jus paid 30 for these bad boys 😎
Steal!
just bought a pair for 48eur :3
Solid deal!
Im bit disappointed for these shoes, usually like adidas have neutral insole but these have like opposite arch support.
Sounds like the fit and last construction of this model doesn't align with your foot anatomy! Sorry to hear they were a "meh" model for ya.
@@thatfitfriend yup, got plantar fascitis when i did trap bar lift and little kettlebell work. Next time i wont buy shoes from amazon without trying them first. Nice channel you have here, keep up the good work.
On sale for $55… must buy?!
That’s a solid deal!
Если сравнивать с nano x2, то лично у меня ,не держится пятка в nano x2.
These doesnt have a chance with nike or adidas models
56usd at Amazon right now.
I just both these for 28€ XD
