In defense of none of the victims only getting injured by the Butcher, it wouldn’t work narratively as Millie still needs to avoid being implicated in the murders by the time they switch back.
I like your takes. Although I liked the movie as well I definitely recognize that it was lazier that it had to be. The concept was nice but they definitely could have done better.
Could you do a retrospective on my favorite game, Dead Rising? Mr. Jonesisgaming!? Oh yeah, if you don't mind me asking when you will come back to streaming? You don't have to, I'm just curious.
@evanderjones YES, my neurodivergent interest is getting a video!!! Ok, so the game is about a photojournalist, and he's trying to find out why this mall has zombies in it, and, and the US government is involved in it they blame it on some Mexican guy and his sister.
these movies (freaky, happy death day) being,..,. the last compelling and creative horror movies they put out before submitting to conjuring and boring trend movies... stick to gaming videos!
I don’t hate them but I think there’s a lot of missed opportunities. The purpose of my videos isn’t to dunk on movies for no reason. I try to provide critique on what I think could have been done to improve the movies in my eyes and hopefully provide insight into film structure and narrative tropes that other creatives might find useful…. thanks for the feedback though!
@@evanderjones watched the whole video and didnt really get that vibe... so sorry! love a good critique but it felt more heavy handed with negatives than praising the good it could have given.
No worries, it’s probably the character I put on for these videos lol I try to end by saying that I generally enjoy the movies but I can see how that can get lost after 10 minutes of complaining

I see what you mean, but when I said that I was referring purely to her friends who were aware of the body switch

This movie wasn’t good, Happy Death Day was FAR better
yes, this was inspired by freaky friday, but built on horror tropes and vibes to build it into a horror movie. what a terrible take.
