Colorado River - Laughlin & Bullhead City

- A popular river for water lovers who can handle the average 110° summers here. There's more to do than gamble in Laughlin. From jet ski rentals to jet boat tours that'll take you all the way to Lake Havasu. Or take one of the slower tour boats that run up by Davis Dam and Casinos. There's water taxis too.
There's a river walk on the Laughlin side that'll take you to most of the casinos. Bullhead City has nice public parks, campgrounds, beaches and jet ski rentals too.
Most of this video was taken Labor Day weekend 2014.

That dam waterway looks like a freeway - I bet there are a lot of boat accidents there... and that's all I got to say here, other than it looks nice there,
They do have some accidents for sure, summer months get super busy on the river, lots of watercraft rentals and boats.
This is definitely pre covid-19, it definitely doesn't look like that now
Excellent job. The colors were brilliant. What kind of a camera was used? I live here in town and haven't seen a better put together video of the river.

WOW! Who cares about gambling when you can use that money to "play on the water". Now this would be a very nice place to visit.

Hear it was a wild place back then, little to no law enforcement, kind of an "anything goes" place.
We still do. There is places to shoot all over out here. Never do we get hassled
Do people hang out at the river after 4pm? If it's so hot I'd think there would be a big late afternoon crowd. Looks like a fun place.

Where is Walmart, A good mall with Victoria's secret, Applebees some night club's and nightclubs, hospital I have been asthma so I gotta live by a hospital. I'm just trying to figure out everything about Laughlin.... Yes I love Laughlin but could I really live there lol
Late reply... Across the river there's a couple Walmart's and a Target, there's a couple hospitals in Bullhead City area too, no Applebees but there's lots of food choices. Night clubs? I have no idea.
I been here it is called Laughlin Nevada boat hotel call Colorado Belle they don't let you,in the beach

What is there REALLY to do in Laughlin cause I'm thinking about moving away from vegas it's to polluted and ppl arw to fake here.... I come from a small little country town and this place has made me kinda cold lol so besides the empty mall that no one ever goes too what is there really to do....
River, desert and lake activities, gambling and golfing. That's what it's all about there.
I can remember vividly, during my trucking days, when you had to ride a river taxi from Bullhead City over to Laughlin because the bridge hadn’t been built yet! NOW it costs an arm and a leg for the same ride that used to be free.

What we I just want to go there with my family not staying in hotels but just to go in the water/beach how much is the entrance? Can I just do that?
Some are free and for the beach at Harrah's is like 10 dollars
The beaches at Community Park and Rotary Park in Bullhead City (opposite side of the river) are always free and open to the public. There's plenty of parking, shade, grass and playground equipment too.
Yes. Go to Davis Camp in AZ side. Go early as its a first come first serve type of thing. You will need to pay 15 dollars per car, but once inside the camp ground look for the river edge, there you will find gazebos and place to set up and swimm for the day, right on the river edge. Have fun.

Thank you, on the Nevada side I liked the Aquarius, Harrah's and the AVI. Probably in that order. Would stay at the Riverside but haven't. It's older but well managed. Only problem with the AVI is that it's a bit out of town unlike the other hotels. In Laughlin I think all but the Tropicana are located right on the river.

I've been to Laughlin plenty of times and I have NEVER seen any of this no one on the river or sands like this.... Most I've ever seen was like maybe one or two jetski's on the river.... When does this all happen

Thanks god for this mighty Colorado river otherwise this place would be boring.the heat can reach up to 130 degrees on summer.back home(philippines)I miss the white ocean beaches.at least in this desert there is an oasis
