I have the same in the 4-Track-version. The last service was in 1978, since that time the machine has never been used. Crystal clear sound, cannot believe, that the output is maximum only 12000 Hz as indicated in the manual.

Love those lab-style knobs reminescent of a mark levinson preamp. Used to transfer these from a defunct f36 to a good g36. Looked fab!

I'm trying to restore a machine like this model E36 machine work but I'm having some problem, machine it will speed up at certain point and stop button won't work, any idea what this kann be? Hello Nuno. Happy New Year. Possible cause of your problem. See video Revox A36 on my Sagiweg page. Check and, if necessary, replace the capacitors 0.1µ F 630 volts.

Kann dies nur bestätigen! Habe in der Service Manual entdeckt, dass in den Modelle A36 und B36 Asbest Bremsbeläge verwendet wurden, haben Sie diesbezüglich einen Tipp?

No it doesn't. The G36 is the only one in the series that does.
Hi, I'm in the middle of refurbishing like yours f36. Playback and FF is slowish towards the end of the tape.. What do you reckon is it the take-up spool motor cap(3uF) that is failing or something else? I guess I have too much tension going in the system? Any help appreciated!
