I was recording a cover of Rocket Ride by KISS, and I'm no good with the wah, so you saved me here! Thanks. Short and to the point!

Happy to be of service. I'm still interested in getting a MIDI expression pedal, but honestly, being able to control the wah in post using a stylus is awesome, and even more fun for me. And I was an avid user of real wah pedals for many years -- and still am.
I find it even more expressive because I can do multiple takes just focusing on the sweep of the wah to perfection. It really lets you focus on the wah as its own musical instrument....and the best part is you have an infinite amount of tries to perfect it.
Hope you have as much fun with this as I am! Now my brain is on the volume pedal in my NDSP Petrucci plugin for violin-like volume swells. The sky's the limit with this technique

Also, incredible channel dude. That is just completely awesome stuff. Photography/videography is a hobby of mine and while I'm still just rocking an old Lumix GH2 -- well. I could go on and on.
But I'm into that stuff in my own small way and am super impressed with your work. Truly beautiful shots and videography.

@@guitar_md Thanks a lot for your kind words! I was going to make a summer countrerpart, but last summer was miserable here in Norway, so hoping for it this year! I only have an old Canon Legria video camera and a DJI Mini SE drone. But it still works, and stuff is expensive 😆
But yeah. Things have certainly changed with regards to recording. Had to hire a professional studio to record music when I was young.

I'll be posting 8 different cover tracks as soon as they're done. Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Ozzy, and maybe some more. I'm working on improving as a rock producer, and I'm trying to revive that 70's flair.
Anyway. Thanks for a nice interaction, and I wish you a great day Sir!

I think you might be able to use an USB expression pedal and set it to control (and have its movements recorded to) an effect envelope track under the track, so that it will control the wah/effect on playback automatically. Or maybe using CC events on a MIDI track for control. But I dont own such a pedal.

really useful!, can i do it at the same time while recording?

Yes. Works great. All you have to do is arm both tracks to record before you start and then it will work as you're recording live.
