However, the reviews from the DL half this past weekend have been really disappointing. My first and only half marathon was a wonderful experience in Portland, OR and it sounds until DL gets better at putting these races on, they will pale in comparison (so I canceled the hotel and deleted the reminder). (I guess DL has been on a break from doing runDisney, and it shows.)
Hi Bron! Congrats 🎉🎉 I was cheering you on in my schools marching band for the half marathon. It was a bummer it was shortened but I hope we gave you some energy to get through it! 👹👹
The 10K was always Minnie, until some people complained about minnie not being part of the marathon. Then it was changed and rotated between Oswald and Chip/Dale. No one has an official half marathon that weekend, same happened in 2017...but we were completely cancelled. We did get 13.1's worth of characters in 7.1 miles at least, even if we didn't officially complete Dopey in 2024...can't use part virtual for proof of time
Thanks for the video. I have Shokz and they are great for hearing your surroundings. I would love to do this for 2025 or 2026. Is it hard to get an entry?

I think doing the marathon as part of Dopey makes it an even bigger accomplishment. Congratulations on your accomplishment!

Those 2am wake ups are brutal! I did my first dopey this year as well and I’m sad it over. I had so much fun.
I was opening dumbo during the full marathon when it was pouring and I felt so bad for y'all. we were right by mile 9.
