I don't know, I can't really stand any of the SMLE variants for some reason. I prefer to use the Gewehr for sniping, and either the Lebel or Mosin infantry versions for normal play.
I was expecting Fedorov Avtomat on the top 3 list..maybe give it a little more time
DICE invented the hellriegel to keep mediocre players coming back to play BF1 every day. When you get killed by a hellriegel, it's not surprising to see 100 service stars with it anymore, as that is the only weapon the player can play with. Personally I like to play with all the weapons and don't keep playing with one weapon all the time.

Same, I try to get at least some differentiation in. But saying that, I have never touched the Madsen Machine-guns. Likewise for the Model 10-A Hunter and the automaticos. I only use those guns when I have to get an assignment unlock.
Kyle Snake I'm doing the same. Only about 10 main guns away from service stars for each. Makes the game so much more fun and challenging.

Ribeyrolles 1918 is still my favourite assault weapon. Hellriegel is just overrated and at distance it isn't even that good the only thing i like about it is the magazine size

I switch to RibeyRolles about a month ago, and it became my go-to weapon ever since. Highest damage, highest muzzle velocity, bipod, laser-beam accuracy and puchy sound.
I still use Hellrigel & Automatico from time to time, but RibeyRolles is one of few weapons that I still enjoy it w/o any skins on

Me too, I only use the Hell when my team is fucking around and I have to throw myself at groups of players, so I need that big mag.

It is, right? It's got the three-hit kill guarantee (i think), just like the Selbstlader, only it has almost as high RoF as you can click. The one downside is its 5-round mag, so you pretty much have to reload after every kill.

I mainly play Medic Cuz its the only team based class.. But still ill tell u.
Assault - mp18 (Iron sights), double barrel slug (Cuz it requires aim and its like bolt action)
Medic - Cei Regotti,Fedorov Avtomat (Cuz otherwise no chance against autistico)
Support - storm iron sight variants of lewis and benet mercie
Scout - IRON SIGHT variants always (Cuz with scopes its Sadly sooooooo easy to kill anyone since bullet is fast and almost NO balistics no skill required at all)
Grenades - Light anti tank (Cuz its harder to use against infantry but usefull for team Cuz it damages vehicles
Syringe - Cuz i always try to revive
Medic Pouch - Cuz its mobile and faster to heal mates
AT Rocket gun - not to snipe enemies but to shoot vehicles
Spot flares - to help team spot enemies
K bullets - to help team shoot vehicles
Crossbow HE - to help team shoot vehicles
Ammo Pouch to faster give ammo.
And always take big tank cuz its teambased not like Light tank

Frommer stop and mars automatic are both exclusive sidearms for the scout I believe, the reason why I feel they are the most popular is that scouts rely heavily on their sidearms a lot more than other classes.
Really surprised didn't see either of the federovs in this .. definitely a go to gun for hardcore game modes
Lewis gun low weight and Russian 1895 are my 2 favorites, they are severely underrated
The Aim Assist on console with carbine/infantry is broken. You can be aggressive with those variants
Şťëăму Ñīрs I dissbled aim assist for my ps4 and got 100 kills with the gewehr 95 infantry...
The infantry and carbine variants are still absurdly good on console even if you turn off all aim assist...The trick to dominating on consoles is to turn down all the radial deadzones down to 10% or lower (avoid going below 10% on axial deadzones). Turn off acceleration and vibration and turn sensitivity to 100 (it will seem crazy at first but it only takes a couple of hours to adjust). I'd say you can very easily out-aim and out-gun 98% of the console players this way. Turning off motion blur and turning down camera shake also helps. The default settings are terrible and most players either don't understand the importance of settings adjustments or they don't know how to make the right adjustments.The deadzones in particular are important. It pretty much makes the game unfair.

Your medic gameplay aggravated me, didn’t even try to go for a revive. But I personally main the Mondragón Storm despite the recoil I can just whoop ass with that gun at any range. If I can see them I can kill them but it is much more difficult when you run into groups of enemy players

The smle's iron sights are just pure perfection. The mosin nagant would be my favourite if it had better iron sights.

The bar 1918 storm is my favorite. It has a great rate of fire and my play style fits this guns. Because I flank the enemy or I usually take the routes the enemy's don't take so I just mow them down plus either I use airblast mortars or lumpy charges it's game over plus my favorite side arm is the m1912 I love that reload animation

I base my picks based on how many times I'm killed by a specific weapon for each class. It's definitely the Hellriegal for assault, model 10-A for shotguns, fedreov for medic, I'd say Lewis for support and gewher 98 for scout. But this is from my playing experience

AN idea for types of players is types of pilots. You should do a video on different types of BF1 pilots. Some ideas are like the kamakazi pilot, the bail out pilot, the high altitude bomber, and etc. Thanks!

Ever since the beginning of the game, I wished dynamite would be for all classes besides medic. It would probably be the #1 most popular gadget if this was the case, otherwise nice video. You should do something similar with Battlefield 4, well if you haven't already.

Medic: Fedorov Avtomat Trench, 1907SL Sweeper and Autoloading 8 Extended
Support: Madsen Storm, BAR Storm and Huot Low Weight.
Scout: SMLE Marksman and SMLE Carbine.
Sidearm: M1911 and Obrez Pistol
What about tanker/pilot weapons? I think most used weapon is double barrel shotgun, then frommer stop

Hellreigle defensive and MP18 experimental are my favorite SMGs. Favorite shotguns are the 1900 slug and the model 10 slug. Favorite medic rifle is split between the General Liu Factory and 1906 sniper. LMGS are the Parabellum suppressive and the BAR telescopic. Sniper rifles are the Mosin Nagant Marksman and 1895 trench. Pistols are the MLE, Obrez, and Nagant revolver. Melee is the Cogwheel club since I have the most kills with it on PC last I checked. Grenade spot is the standard frag except I use smoke when camping houses with as support. I can keep throwing them and be a monster in the mist. Favorite gadgets are the Limpet and C4. Think there are people in the room next door, throw some dynamite.

Sweganator2013 how else can you get range with assault in this game. Can't have a dmr and smg at distance are useless. At least it's not buckshot. There has to be accuracy with slugs

For Assault, i like the Model 10-A slug for medium to close ranges, and the MP-18 for long ranges. For medic, i love to use the Fedorov Avtomat, for Support i love the Parabellum, and for scout i love to use the Mosin-Nagant (either though it has a bad sweet-spot). For sidearm, it just depends on the mood i’m in. Grenades? Also depends on my mood. Then again, (i have gotten at least 1 service star for every weapon) every weapon is OP in its own way.

Im. Surprised at lmgs ive only ever played support but as i actually like helping my team i tend to use the lewis gun surpressive so i can anchor and not treat the support class as another assault and run with the bar...
My weapon of choice for the Medic class is the Mondragon Storm.

Assault: I don't usually play assault, but once I unlocked the Hellriegel I saw why it was so popular as it is just too damn good. I personally prefer the Ribeyroll but yeah the Hellriegel is easy mode. Only reason I haven't used it more is that I kinda dislike playing assault, and chasing DLC gun unlocks has meant I've been forced to use a bunch of other guns even when I do pick this class.
Medic: my other least played class, I gotta say nearly all the guns are good. Out of all the guns nothing feels too weak or too strong, just a bit of a different feel and pick the one that suits your particular playstyle. Every time I think I've found a fave I swap to another to chase a gun unlock rediscover just how damn good that one is.
Support: onto my favourite classes, and I actually have OPINIONS. My absolute favourite is the Benet Mercie Storm with the AA sights. It's the most versatile gun in the game. Stable, excellent range, deadly at any distance. You can hipfire it in close quarters and win a lot of encounters, or tap fire it to snipe at long range, it's for all intents and purposes an assault rifle. Plus it looks badass. The Madsen has the exact same feel, but has that big magazine in the way which takes some getting used to. I kinda like the chunky damage dealing of the Chauchat, and the easy partial reloads of the Peroni, but I rarely get the tripod out so this is niche use to me and the Benet Mercie is my goto gun.
Scout: I hate using the scoped rifles, I find little fun in sitting on the map edge and sniping. I'm a forward scout player, I get in up close and personal with spotting flares and bolt-action rifles with ironsights. For a very long time the Gewehr 95 infantry was my gun, the straightpull bolt makes keeping it on target for the second kill shot easy, and it fires fast enough you will get that second shot. No sweet spot to worry about either. Lovely gun, great fun to use. I've slowly gotten used to the Gewehr 98 which is a direct upgrade, but which takes time to learn how to love as it has a sweet spot to get those tasty one hit kills, but with only 5 rounds and a bolt cycling animation that pulls your aim off target, it's a bit unsettling at first. Once it clicks though, it's a beast.
There needs to be a way to counter the incendiary grenades

To me the Hellriegel has had a stealth nerf with the last patch. I find the Ribeyrolles now has an edge due to better accuracy and range. Parabellum is immense but the MG15 Low Weight is the best defensive gun in the game in my opinion, bipod and you can destroy anyone at any range. As for sniping, so few people use the M1903 marksman but this is a headshot machine, snipers with glint fall like flies anywhere within 200m. To me this seems to have had a stealth buff as the bullet velocity seems faster than the Gewher now and the bullet drops less at further ranges

the Reason why the Hellriegel seems overpowerd is because its a level 10 Assult Wepon.
The real information I gathered from this video is that most people that play BF1 really don't know what they're doing and are just having fun (which is fine). The two things that REALLY gave it away were that the frag grenade has, by far and above, the highest usage while other grenades are literally more useful in most situations. And the second thing is that most kills by a sidearm come from the M1911. While the 1911 has decent damage and a good rate of fire, there are far better pistols out there. In most cases the revolvers dominate other pistols in versatility and usability, but it also depends on how you're using it.
I've used the Autoloading 8 Extended since the beginning of the game on XBOX. I have 16,300+ kills with it. It's a great weapon but it lacks accuracy and damage.

I have 5k+ kill with SMLE Carbine, aim assist is way too powerful on console, game got allmost boring because you can just snap on target atleast on Xbox. I really like Russian 1895 sniper and its my favorite sniper now👌 ps. great video keep it going👍

The recoil on the parabellum on console is ridiculous
Just a reminder about progression systems in games. They’re there to provide a sense of reward and unlock more things to use that suit you (or don’t, if that’s your playstyle).
Stop complaining about the hellriegel and just play the game. Use what works for you and don’t apologize

You think infantry kills with anti tank rocket gun and grenades are a problem? Mate, use the rocket gun like a sniper, it's so fun. My friends are always support so they keep resupplying me and I'm almost like tank hunter. Give it a try if you haven't

I highly suggest not putting both PC and console into one pot. The recoil management is way easier on pc bit there's no aim assist. As an example hellriegel is usable but not op at all on PC, Automatico is too strong. Similar with the Parabellum, on PC it's not that hard to controll the recoil, on console it's really hard to do so.

Jexvo - on PS4, this thing just dominates. Your rarely see anything else! Because of aim assist and the perfect accuracy, the Hellriegel dominates at almost all ranges. It has laser accuracy on PS4.
