My grandma has the same hugger ceiling fan with light as your but white that's in the basement beauty shop room in the motor used to love in the wires, but when I turn it light off with the switch! Is stays on can I turn the fan on it flickers as a shortened it, tell Dad and I we fix it. In the other problem was the loudest humming sound! 😅 I come up with the ideas how to stop it 💡 I use the styrofoam cushion as a pad, put in shape round, and put it around the edge on top of the motor housing from above the ceiling. I tested to see if it stopped making humming sound, and it worked. Sounds quiet 🤫 and it sounds smooth 😎 a problem solve
