I think my very first Vine of yours was you telling a runner he was running from a demon that wanted to take his soul, and the guy pretended to freak out. That is one I think of often 😂
The one where the person filming is asking a bank employee if there has every been a robbery at the bank. He responds no as you appear behind him in the most villainy costume carrying a big black bag over your shoulder.
i'd like to know the story behind the creation of each of our bois that eventually became sides from vine characters. Especially with Virgil since I don't think his original costume was actually used much before he was introduced into sanders sides.
Oh my god, the fact that the “Im gonna do it today, tomorrow” vine kind of started it all for him is so funny bc that’s the first one I probably ever saw and was the one I’d always quote
Fun fact: in that Avada Kedavra vine at that state thespian competition, there’s a guy called Gio Volpe. He’s the Viner who brought you the wood nymph who can’t find his berries.
My favourite of the old Vines is the one that goes like this: Thomas: (sits up in bed) “Good morning!” Cartoon birds: (appearing next to Thomas) “Good morning, Thomas!” Thomas: “What a beautiful-what the?! (Sprints out the front door) Talking birds!!!!” Cartoon birds: (as they chase Thomas) “You can’t escape us!” I hope I described that well enough. It’s hilarious 😂😂😂
“The one” for me is definitely the storytime vine where you said something about dancing, and the guy immediately recognised you and blurted out “and then the vine guy joined them!” The sheer excitement on his face was and still is priceless!!! ❤
The vine where you gave the ice cream to the little boy with your Stewie impression and where you did Stitch for the little girl with the gigantic Stitch plushie are some of my favorites
Hi thomas! Lovely to see you around as always! Thanks for being the one to prove that my emotions and feelings are normal. Thanks for choosing to share your journey because it helped me share mine. And thank you for being the biggest inspiration to me.
Omg!! I noticed that easter egg recently! I even googled it like "what is this? WHY is this?? Why is it *here*???" I was so confused. Thank you for answering that!
I don’t know exactly why, but I think watching Thomas Sanders vines created a core memory for me somewhere, because I can vividly remember the very first vine of his I saw and I still have many living in my head rent free 😂 I was introduced to them via a “Disney Pranks: with friends!” Vine and he just goes “siiiiiiiiiiimbaa” and wipes ketchup on someone’s forehead
I think a Storytime Vine was the first thing I saw of yours. I think it was the one where you said something about the urge to dance....and one of the individuals said: "And then the Vine Guy joined them." And you did it! ❤I always like it when the people you "Storytime" play along with you. 😂 I also enjoy the Misleading compliments ones as well. ❤
The aggressive cuteness one has been a long time favorite for me. And now Anthony Vincent has made a song "Cute Aggression" that lives in my head rent-free. 😁😁😁
I love how involved Dom was even when not on camera! It's so fun to hear the different POVs of what went on and the extra details that you all remember. This was even better than the reacting to old vines videos, although I love those too. It's so cool to hear about the backstories!
I still watch these vine complations all the time!! I remember me and my 3 brothers sitting down to watch a new complation every time they would be posted 😂😂
I always thought his big break-out Vine was the one where he calls Apple’s customer service and says “To talk to a customer, please press 1” because I saw it on that viral Reddit Try Not to Laugh video
The vine for me was him in the prince costume singing "When I think about my worries and I think about my strife, here is what I simply say... *Screams*" It plays in my head every time I'm stressed.
About the glass: in high school, I was a theater kid, obviously💁 in one show, I played a mother of chaotic twin daughters who was verbally (and implied physically) abused by her husband. There were scenes where he would scream at me or the twins and I would cower or whatever. Anyway, so at one point in the play, my character made friends with another woman. It was a comedy so there was a deadpan type joke. I asked this woman if she had a rag and a glass plate without telling her what it was for. I then carefully wrapped the glass plate in the rag, held the end of the rag, and smashed it on the stage floor while screaming to let out my anger. So I went to a small school with a small budget. We were lucky to even have a drama program. We didn't have to pay dues because most of the kids at my school lived below the poverty line and were food insecure. Plus the lack of funding from the No Child Left Behind act caused my school to suffer in all areas, including academics. They did their best with what they had tho, and I'm grateful. But because of the low budget, we got thrift store plates for each performance, but used the same rag. The last performance, the rag ripped and the glass shattered and went everywhere. The year book people caught my face the moment I realized that there was now glass on the stage. It made it into the final yearbook😅 so now, there's glass all over the stage and a few scenes away, we all take our shoes off... but the show must go on, so we kept going. I told the stage manager to help me warn everyone before that scene. But when it came, the lead guy stepped on glass and kept going through it. At the intermission, we swept up the stage quickly. Most people in the back didn't notice until the rumor mill started. But my whole family was sitting in the front row. Afterwards, when we were shaking hands as people left, my step-dad said, "you dropped something," and gave me a shard of glass that hit him😂 I still have that shard in my memory box. That is one of the craziest memories I have in the drama club lol
if you want to "smash glass" you can make candy glass. idk if you can buy candy glass but if you've ever seen in a movie where a beer bottle is smashed on someone's head more likely than not they've used candy glass because it shatters but won't cause injury. It's also known as stunt glass, can be made with resin or sugar
I was introduced to you when a Facebook video compilation came up and said, "This guy narrates people in real life." After that, I couldn't get enough! I love how charismatic your voice is. And I actually kinda dug the old haircut. It was just so... so... Thomas Sanders! ❤
I'd love to hear the explanation for the 19mph street sign. The second you explained how the golpher crossing was infact a golpher turtle crossing the 19mph sign is all i wanted to know about from then on XD
i love these types of videos and learning everything that went into such a short clip! also *LOVED* learning that that one story time "romance" had Gavin in it! i had no idea before today and i think that's so cute!
i used to be OBSESSED with fanfiction so the vine of yours that stands out to me is the one where you use characters as coping mechanisms much to the characters annoyance lol
One vine I've always been so curious about is the one where, I can't remember the exact dialogue, but something like "It's a beautiful day, I'm going to get so much done - and it's night now." I always wondered how you changed it from day to night in one continued take. Also definitely the Tuddleberry signs, and I'd love to hear about how the Pokemon and Disney pranks got started! The first of your vines I saw was back when my cousins showed me a Disney/Pokemon pranks compilation. Honestly, I could watch a whole series that eventually covers each one, lol. Those old videos mean a lot to me, since they always made me laugh while I was going through a really rough time in my life.
This was so fun!!! Very excited for more of these, it had a bunch of vines which had become staple inside jokes with me and my friend. I'm sure there's a lot of frustration behind much of the actual process of making these vines but it's all so appreciated i promise, they're soo funny 😂
Thomas! I thought it was fake glass! I have been zeroing on the glass shards for years going "boy am I glad that glass wouldn't actually hurt anybody because it's fake"! I love your content, and I'm not actually mad, but whoof, the spike of anxiety I felt!
My favorite vine is the “Parents will find something” one because I did an edit of it after you officially became Gavin’s godfather so every time I see it I remember edit and how emotional it made me and everyone who viewed it
Ngl, the avatar one lives rent free in my head...to the point where I actually forgot how old it was lmao. I remember watching the true love storytime. I had no idea that was Gavin!
Always loving these BTS lookbacks, sir! But as a big Bond fan, I'm surprised I never seen the Bond one before! That was great, especially for that point in your vine journey! (The opening recreation shot is probably not too dissimilar from how the oldest Bond films created the gun-barrel sequence, so yeah! Great stuff! ^^)
Damn that glass got stupid close to your face dude!!! If you are up for it sometime I would like a rundown of dangerous vines you did and if they resulted in any injury? Were they worth it in the end? Ect. And you do know they have stage glass thats like easily breakable yeah? Lol I know these are older but please be safe going forward. We all love you and need you around for a long while.
YAY you showed my favourite Vine!! The Voices of Steven Universe vine has ALWAYS made me laugh out loud cus of how they all embodied rheir characters, ESPECIALLY Amethyst 😂😂 "yeaaa it was!!"
All these made me laugh and smile, thank you for that, 😂 I really needed this today! Also, Thomas you please send me lots of prayers?! 😭💜 Thanks in advance for everything, you're the best!!

aweee yay i loved this! as for the vine that was the oNE for me, oh god. impossible. let's say the ones off the top of my head: 1) the DRIVE OVER ME one xD 2) the class project where only one person does work with the "CAN YOU HELP ME" and then 3) because its the quote i think of the most, the one where it's like "which is..?" "WITCHES?!" every time I hear the words which & is next to each other i immediately think wITCHES?! xD oh, uh, as for which one i want the story behind, uh all of them? :D
WAHHHH LOVED ITTTTTT ^^ soooo not a vine, but what’s the story behind your Sleep character? Like, what you were thinking when you made the first video, and then once he started to get popular?
This is *the* origin story
The origin of the king of vine...
The king that brought a smile to our faces with his 6 second long videos...
The origin.... Of Thomas Sanders...
Where it all began...
One could even say… the origin STORY TIME! *jazz hands*

Hey all!! Hope you're doing well! Do you have a vine YOU'D love to know the story behind??
The one where the person filming is asking a bank employee if there has every been a robbery at the bank. He responds no as you appear behind him in the most villainy costume carrying a big black bag over your shoulder.
Thomas, I love your videos and in fact they make my day every time you post.
Thomas you are a inspiration
i'd like to know the story behind the creation of each of our bois that eventually became sides from vine characters. Especially with Virgil since I don't think his original costume was actually used much before he was introduced into sanders sides.
