I was a Stern fan back in the day. I bought into his bullshit about O and A. In 2014, I got divorced, my mom,my dogs, and my best friend died. I was extremely depressed. One day I decided to turn on some O and A reruns, and discovered the gift of Patrice and Anthony. I never laughed so hard, and it got me through the worst year of my life. I wish Patrice was still here to give his take on this “woke” culture! He was a true genius!
I just had almost the same scenario. My dad died randomly in my arms, I broke my foot, when I got back my job pushed me out, I wore through my savings and this kind of content really helped me. I have been in a dark place since the end of October but finally coming around and getting it all back together again. Thank God for music and great comedy. Sorry about your losses brother. One of the things that makes Patrice so polarizing, I think, is that he is intelligent but uneducated. You have to be very patient in waiting for him to find the right words to convey a thought. He'll stumble around to the point where it'll take him paragraphs to say what could've been a sentence if he had a more developed vocabulary.
