Just sold my Audi A8L 2015. Was very confused between these two as I wanted to switch. Bmw is just way to better to drive and cool features but Benz is Benz ! I will go for Benz this time. That big screen is just woow
people who criticize bmw's huge front kideny grille should know that sclass' s grille is equally huge but at the end both are smaller than lexus ls's grille 👍
The base choice comes to the point that Merc is mostly a chauffer driven car whereas BMW is sheerly for the driving experience. Basically if you wanna sit behind in the 2nd row go for the S class and if you are driving freak go for the 7th series. Personally I have been lucky enough to experience both the beauties and if I'm being honest 7th series can't beat the 2nd row comfort of S class and the S class can't beat the driving pleasure of the 7th series hands down. And one more point about the infotainment system, it comes secondary cause I've seen people owning the S class for years and still not using 70% of the tech in it. There was an old 7 series( don't remember which year model) but it has one extraordinary low profile wheels, I still don't know how many spokes were there in that!! How many of u have seen that car??

Mercedes S class is synonymous with luxury in uber luxury segment. If I consider one segment lower then I would pick 5 series (M5) over E class (AMG 63).
In terms of exterior design: My pick The 7 MB 7th gen being introduced in 2020, it's offering more technology. Whereas 7 series 6 gen belong to 2015. Hope 7th gen of 7 series must add those tech features. For sheer driving pleasure: My pick The 7... Ultimately, (As you said) it's about emotion... I, being a BMW fan, will go for the 7, despite MB is offering a lot more tech features or Seating pleasure....
When you compare these two cars the winner is always the s class Bmw can never match the luxury offered by the merc be it any generation the s is always the winner
11:59 I would just like to point out that you had mistakenly stated that the 7 series does not come with rear seat massagers. It does in fact come with massagers and a whole BMW vitality program.
Another down side of Merc s class ckd is the driver don’t come with a massager, I can give tons of comparisons than this video but appreciate the TH-camr for making an attempt to compare
