Please, a Dave Sardy remix of the whole Morning Glory album for the 30th anniversary in 2025, along with the reunion. I would LOVE to listen to a new mix approach like this
I've been looking for this version everywhere! I just kept coming across the same one and I was always like 'this just isn't right' finally I've found the version I like
This is cleaner than the album version I like it, but I still prefer the album version with the police helicopter makes it feel like part of the furniture along with Dont look back in anger, Champagne Supernova, She’s Electric and Wonderwall, I know a lot of fans claim Definitely Maybe is the best album but to me Morning Glory is the definitely the best album.
@@conorfurlong the original mix had no impact and just clipped the whole time. It legitimately sounds like a pressing error or a joke mix, but it just so happens to be the final.
This is great, but it just highlights what a complete fucking wasted opportunity the reissues were. I know it takes time (and money), but if you're going to re-issue and re-master something, why not re-mix it? Noel has stated on numerous occasions he's unhappy with the original mixes on the first few albums: get it right then! What is the point in re-releasing material even more over-compressed and slightly louder? It's the same with his re-think of D'You Know What I Mean? It actually offers a glimpse of something different and presents the track in a different light. It also gives fans a real reason to buy the stuff. I understand some people prefer the original mixes - I like them too! - but this Dave Sardy version sounds great too, possibly better, and think what he could have done with the whole album. Likewise Noel with Be Here Now. Ultimately it's just disappointing and reeks of cash-in. I know every band does it, but I thought Noel would have a genuine interest in improving the tracks sound.
The reason he doesn’t remix it is he doesn’t want the song to lose its original meaning. He doesn’t want new fans to listen to remixed versions. Tbh I agree with him.
@SoniaRossi I agree with you! What do you think of the song "Who put the weight of the world on my shoulders?" Have you watched the movie 🍿"Goal The dream begins" with the German/MEXICANO actor "Kuno Becker" 2005
Dave Sardy produced DBTT, which, here in America, gave them their first top 20 album since Be Here Now(#12!) saw them play their biggest US gigs EVER (MSG, The Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, etc), and was received with rave reviews as a tour de force and return to form! Go on with that nonsense!!

It's got more kick than the original version! Love it!
"How loud do you want the snare drum?"
Alan white: yes
Always wanted to find a version that was more .....louder...had more oomph. And this is it.
This is less oomph though, it’s too clean
@NeroSparda99 Ok. Maybe I exaggerated a bit 😅
The best version of my favorite song!
Dave Sardy should remix all of Be Here Now!!!!
This sounds so much better than the album release. Finally the drums aren't drowned out by that ridiculous What's The Story mix.
10 years this take has sat with no one challenging it, can’t have that
This sounds more thuggish. Awesome!
Biblical
Cheers

You should listen to the version of champagne supernova pot Hazed
Waaaaaaay better. Big fan of David Sardy’s mixes!

Yeah, but Alan White is not in this version: Terry Kirkbride re-recorded the drums, just like Jeordie White re-recorded the bass.
@@davidlvna As much as I hate myself for saying this I actually prefer the re-recorded drums to the originals

Oasis are my fave band with DM being my fave album but i have always wanted a cleaner mix of their songs!
This sounds so weirdly clean haha.
Think i prefer the original's raw and coked out feel tbh.
Typical Sardy. He did this with so many of Oasis' tunes.
Horrible decision Noel made to associate with him.
Yeah the original mix is much better. The original mix sounds chaotic and frenetic whereas this sounds polished. It’s lost its charm.
this remix is better

Yeah that's it, fuck the noises and textures at the original version
I like this mix more
in this version (Goal movie) Noel plays the drums dude.
Incorrect; this is a remix of the original track. "Cast No Shadow" is the recording with Noel playing all (I think?) instruments.
This is great, but it just highlights what a complete fucking wasted opportunity the reissues were. Because he did D'You Know What I Mean? and it took ages and he couldn't be bothered to do the rest.
Yes, I know that. My point is 'can't be arsed' isn't really good enough. Just a wasted opportunity.
The reason he doesn’t remix it is he doesn’t want the song to lose its original meaning. He doesn’t want new fans to listen to remixed versions. Tbh I agree with him.
