Have you tried Boulder beach around the corner - world's easiest jump off into the line-up but world's worst exit from the surf - there is no beach just huge boulders to pick your way through as the waves crash around you. Takes 5 seconds to get out but up to half an hour to come in if you want to avoid a broken leg or ankle, let alone board. Gnarly stuff, which is why I have surfed it empty while Lennox was crowded
