I found the spout supplied with the bottle next to useless so I used a syringe to fill the tank. This method has the benefit of measuring the quantity you use. I put the neck of the syringe hard into the filler, press the plunger and lift it after each injection. If it sucks air I put another syringe full in until it sucks up fluid.
Those nozzles that come with a tube of silicone or liquid nails Make a perfect funnel. Screw it in the tank firmly and fill it with your hydraulic fluids. Then run the pump controls You can see the fluid drop . So much easier than using the bottle supplied from the manufacturer.
Thank you for all the videos regarding the Kobolite 336GC excavator. I received mine three days ago. Still haven’t taken it out of the packing because I wanna learn about it before I tear into it. Every piece of information from you is so informative. My question, should I immediately replace the hydraulic fluid with Lucas before running the pump, Or run the current oil first?
No problem I personally would just be careful not losing any lines just remove the back doghouse than four screws for the tank lid dump it out put fresh and dump and keep cycling it.
Whatever you do, don’t buy nothing cheap buy something decent. Just depends what’s available in your area. Super s, Lucas oils something decent. After you run it for a week or two check the fluid and make sure there’s not any metal particles in it. If so flush it and put fresh fluid in it.
@@rccincy price is irrelevant I want the best fluid money can buy, can I use real hydraulic oil? My work has many cat excavators and I could get a litre of hydraulic oil
the oil will always be black because the original hydraulic circuit is not terrible, wear and premature internal friction of the pump... It is better to put an oil filter and I change the pump and the valve on my Kabolite
honestly I expected to be clean after one more cycle. The way the system is low tide together extremely hard to find somewhere but a hydraulic filter especially with all the blocks being tied together. honestly don't plan to change the pump or anything on it besides the fluid. I bought a entire jug of the word for very cheap it's good quality stuff that actually protects the components. The last time I flushed it it was almost completely clear. I honestly think one or two more cycles will remedy the situation I will honestly let you guys now.
@@rccincy as far as I'm concerned, it's my first hydraulic machine, and I didn't know anything about it at first, now I know a little more... I should have changed the oil more quickly, but I don't don't try only 4 times, and the machine no longer had too much power... you have to put the oil filter on the oil return, it avoids pieces of filings in the hydraulic circuit... after everyone does what they want, I share my own experience...
I would love for it to have a pressure gauge as well but the issue is space and hooking it up to the existing lines. The lines on the 336 are 3m spec a lot of stuff they sell aftermarket is 4m spec. If you have a suggestion or video please share I would love to have someone with some knowledge share
