I went to a Kard concert once and it was my first kpop concert ever, I had my phone with me and didn't know that I wasn't supposed to record and one staff member/or their manager scared the shit out of me by yelling at me, pulled my physically and yelled to delete the recording when the recording didn't even save because I had just held my phone up for 2 seconds and was yelled at right away.. even dropped my phone and my hands kept shaking.. I truly felt all the fun of the event was taken away with her scary action 😅 Like chill I would've not even tried to pull my phone out if I knew! I still get sad when I remember.. I am 50/50 on this one. Obviously, hitting someone on the head or pushing them away harshly can never be justified. Especially those fans that are clearly POLITE and GAVE our idols space. HOWEVER, there are some fans (from what I've seen in the video) that kinda deserves it. I know it sounds mean but, some fans were shoving themselves onto the idols, screaming in their ears, pulling on their short etc. I'm sure that most of kpop managers have tried to tell them to move away etc, but it can be frustrating when the fans doesn't listen and keeps on invading the idols' privacy and making them super uncomfortable. Are most managers or directors in k-pop men? The Korean culture appears to be much more blunt, insensitive, and cutthroat competitive compared to most other cultures. So I don't know how much of the behavior in the k-pop industry is general culture driven or specific only to k-pop. Are people in other careers treated similarly? I was shocked to see the way the managers smack down fans approaching an idol. It is certainly their job to protect the idol but good judgment is necessary to assess what actions are necessary. In these clips almost all of the violence seemed overblown compared to the actions of the fans. Oh well it isn't my business and I will probably never visit S. Korea anyway. I hope things improve for the young idols in the industry.
The worst part is that these famous people didn't even try help the fans that got hit by their manager's, they just acted like they didn't care, that ain't cool

Are most managers or directors in k-pop men? The Korean culture appears to be much more blunt, insensitive, and cutthroat competitive compared to most other cultures. So I don't know how much of the behavior in the k-pop industry is general culture driven or specific only to k-pop. Are people in other careers treated similarly? I was shocked to see the way the managers smack down fans approaching an idol. It is certainly their job to protect the idol but good judgment is necessary to assess what actions are necessary. In these clips almost all of the violence seemed overblown compared to the actions of the fans. Oh well it isn't my business and I will probably never visit S. Korea anyway. I hope things improve for the young idols in the industry.
