Don't know why they pushed them so hard. Yes I know it's kind of invading privacy of idols but when your famous, you have to go through that. The manager could've just told the people to go away instead of pushing them

"Fans" shouldn NEVER be that close(in an uncontroled enviroment), especially considering there are often Death treats agianst Idols. And when has a "Fan" gone away because they were told to... where you actually being serious with that?

I went to a Kard concert once and it was my first kpop concert ever, I had my phone with me and didn't know that I wasn't supposed to record and one staff member/or their manager scared the shit out of me by yelling at me, pulled my physically and yelled to delete the recording when the recording didn't even save because I had just held my phone up for 2 seconds and was yelled at right away.. even dropped my phone and my hands kept shaking..
I truly felt all the fun of the event was taken away with her scary action 😅

The idea that these idols possibly get abused is very upsetting. I love K-Pop but this scares me.
Most of them are getting abused there's a very dark side to the k-pop industry that fans tend to ignore
I am 50/50 on this one. Obviously, hitting someone on the head or pushing them away harshly can never be justified. Especially those fans that are clearly POLITE and GAVE our idols space.
HOWEVER, there are some fans (from what I've seen in the video) that kinda deserves it. I know it sounds mean but, some fans were shoving themselves onto the idols, screaming in their ears, pulling on their short etc. I'm sure that most of kpop managers have tried to tell them to move away etc, but it can be frustrating when the fans doesn't listen and keeps on invading the idols' privacy and making them super uncomfortable. So yeah, some of them deserved the shoving and pushing.
BUT, what I do not agree is managers hitting them on the head when they DID nothing wrong. Like that one girl holding a camera (sorry but I don't remember the time), hitting her on the head was totally uncalled for. I mean, hitting one's head in general is definitely uncalled for. In my household, if my mom were to see us siblings smacking each other on the head, we're ALL getting scolded. LOL.
Conclusion:
- Being physically harsh to fans can be justified, i.e. when they make idols uncomfortable, being physically aggressive or shoving their body onto the idols.
- But fans that are respectful and polite, do not deserve such treatment. A shove to pave the way for idols to walk is maybe enough.

When the manager slapped the girl in the glasses and the other ones too I was shook. The poor girls are so excited to meet their idols and just wanted to meet them. I am so glad they were fired. But rlly, the was the flinched and fell. You could really see how hurt and shocked they were. If I were to go see BP, and that happened to me, whenever I would listen to BP or go to a concert I would be haunted by that painful memory. My heart goes out to all the victims. The boys too of course.

I think for Seola...its not up to the manager to say if she's afraid of going underwater. Manager only listen to company's instructions. Any delay or anything, he would be blamed for it. Are most managers or directors in k-pop men? The Korean culture appears to be much more blunt, insensitive, and cutthroat competitive compared to most other cultures. So I don't know how much of the behavior in the k-pop industry is general culture driven or specific only to k-pop. Are people in other careers treated similarly? I was shocked to see the way the managers smack down fans approaching an idol. It is certainly their job to protect the idol but good judgment is necessary to assess what actions are necessary. In these clips almost all of the violence seemed overblown compared to the actions of the fans. Oh well it isn't my business and I will probably never visit S. Korea anyway. I hope things improve for the young idols in the industry.
