I use to sit at my old house rooftop with my brother and sister, drinking wine and smoking weed. Listening to this song we use to talk about the possibility of being out there in space and how we can still build a better world. If I die this year, I hope that I’m able to at least experience true happiness with someone for the first time in my life, even if it’s something short. I do not know what it’s like to feel the embrace of somebody, I want to know what it is like to receive the same love in return. I’m scared of dying without knowing what love is like. It’s so easy for me to describe what it’s like to be heartbroken, rejected, betrayed, but for some reason when it comes to love, I know nothing. This track makes me think about everything and I wonder where I went wrong.

I remember that warm and sunny morning in the summer, the summer breeze was coming in through the curtains, my ex husband was waking up and I just lied next to him and I scrolled through youtube, I remember seeing this song and I just clicked on it. It was a video version with footages from the movie Her. I saw that movie last year. It only brought back my painful memories. I felt so lonely and lost through my marriage and I felt bad because I know he felt the same, no matter how much we used to love the other, it became toxic and unbearable. After the fights came the cold silence. I feel like it's a past life, I'm detached from it, but I'll always remember parts of it. I choose to remember the small, warm and calm things. I learned to love myself more and how to forgive. It took time. I cried myself to sleep every night, but I needed to purify my emotions and my soul, I needed to cry, I needed to let go. It felt like feelings of failure, anger, sadness and betrayal were gonna last forever. It takes time to fall in love with someone deeply, so don't expect to fall out of love quickly. There is no magic trick and shortcuts, you have to go through it alone. You will miss them and you, how you were and how you felt with them. You have to open your wounds and to clean them. It will leave a scar tissue, but we all have our history and I love someone even more, when they trust me and show them to me. That's true mature bonding and acceptance. I don't know if I'll find my happiness, but I hope I will. Novody knows what life may bring. I also learned that there is no perfect love, there is just love that is perfect for you. Makes you feel better, happier, healthier in mind and stronger in life. I forgave myself, if we could've done better, we would. Life is a long, long journey. It is beautiful and scary sometimes. It is rainy, it is sunny, but the most important thing is not to leave yourself standing under the rainy cloud for too long, you'll catch a cold and feelings don't recover that easy. Try to understand yourself and others better, try to think what's best for everyone concerned. Relationships are difficult, yet a real blessing. It's like traveling. You have to see the world, but at the end of the road you'll want to settle down and build a home. How do you build the best home for you? You build your home by expanding your life experience and meeting other cultures and points of view. The best way to get to know yourself is through others. Maybe you are miserable now, sad and suffering, but that part of love is much needed so you can be free and be comfortable with yourself and your own feelings, so that you can find the right partner who suits you and wants the best for you, just like you want for yourself. It takes time. Pain transforms people, through dark times come the most beautiful sun rays and we learn to appreciate the Sun more and more. Don't be afraid, it shall pass. You'll be better and wiser. Don't let road bumps make you stop. Keep moving. I wish you all the best. I choose to remember the sweet sunny day in our purple bedroom. Purple was our colour. My engagement ring was purple. But you know what, purple isn't the colour of my soul. It's a part of me and my past. There's a whole rainbow, my loves. Don't try to fit in shoes that don't fit you. Sometimes you'll outgrow your own old shoes, but that's okay. Love and happiness should grow, not your pain and depression. We still laugh together. I don't know, love sometimes comes into our lives to purify our hearts and to make us better persons, to teach us the meaning of forgiveness.
