Yeah there's a lot of people there, looks like places in the UK. What's it like if you get down there as the sun comes up mid-summer when there's a swell? Back in the day pre-internet without access to Buoy data and swell maps, you could score empty waves or share a wave with a couple of blokes at places like this in the UK, but that's a thing of the past nowadays.
Really, there's sand bottom points in the UK?

@@odrs Australian surf spots are notoriously crowded and to make it worse, they surf on top of each other with no order, no line up, just mayhem.
Even when you take off in the sweet spot there is someone on the shoulder to create a snow ball to fill your barrel. 🤣
What’s the difference between the take off spot at 3:00 vs 3:10? The take off spot right behind the rocks looks brutal. Can you get waves that don’t break behind the rocks? Or are the best waves at the rock?

After just being up there surfing snapper I had no issues with the attitudes of the crowd, the competitive nature was fun and pushed the surfing level up and watching Surfers who can actually rip was fun . Didn't feel or see anything nasty stuff at all., The problem with snapper is it's a world class wave crowded with 80 percent of people who can't surf, that's the issue.
People that can’t surf are not out there mate, a few but the majority are competent.
It’s all the agro locals thinking they own it that’s the problem..
@@heathstott if they can surf, why are 80 percent of them too deep for there ability, calling pros off waves, sitting in the way under the lip, bailing boards in front of people in barrels. I think we have different perspectives on competence. The locals do own it, respect it and your fine

There is a pecking order out there behind the rock. Unless your local though your not getting a wave
If you know the banks and know where to sit and which waves to paddle, and when you paddle you do with attitude and commitment you’re getting waves, and oh boy there’s nothing like getting a long ride like that. Don’t forget, respect doesn’t come for free, you gotta give to receive, and never take things personally cause it has nothing to do with you, just get out there with a smile on your face and enjoy it 🤙🏾🤙🏾 Aloha
