I am curious why the call with the Jacks...the bet is twice the pot, you "should" be behind...unless you have a great read on the opponent? Even with a great read, seems like there are going to be better spots available? I could see if there was a clear flush or straight draw and you believe they are bluffing, but I'm specifically curious why call there when it just seems likely you are getting yourself in trouble (outside of results obv) for what is a pretty small pot before the call?
Was just about to mention that to him… feel like that might be an East Coast thing (could be wrong) and he doesn’t know what he just said. A fan myself.
Please, always make your opponent show his cards first...before you show your cards. That way we will always get to see your opponents cards. Please give it a try as your way of showing cards "cheats" us out of seeing your opponents cards.... think of your viewers more often. Blue skys.
With all due respect, I disagree. Sometimes the “right play” is to open your hand early. Of course, Brad would have to factor in the fact he vlogs when content is part of his poker career but there’s going to be times where it’s better for the game, either short-term or long-term, to open your hand early. Over 90% of live crushers I’ve seen open their hand early sometimes for one reason or another. It’s part of understanding how to keep the energy right for a game and protecting live poker in general.
@@Gumption34especially true if there’s a whale or a bad player at the table. Your goal is to keep them happy so they stay and lose money for as long as possible. If you force them to show and embarrass them in front of the table, they might decide to just pack it in.
If you play real cash games, and regularly, you know it’s etiquette to show your hand 1st and allow the other player to fold face down when they see they are beaten. It’s a common occurrence in cash games where both get to the river “light” and neither wants to show their holdings. Keep the fish happy and they will keep coming back.
"I make a mental note not to bluff Nikki" 🤣🤣🤣
Brad... you crack me up with your Helmuth and money repellant comments. Too funny !!!
Good Afternoon

It doesn’t work like that Larry. And not everything revolves around you
