- Aizawa was a very disappointing release BUT now they finally fixed all of his bugs and even gave a few buffs to his Alpha and Special Action! With these changes Aizawa is finally a functioning character and gets his time to shine. He does Solid Damage and has some of the best movement with his Alpha and Beta Quirks as well as actually being able to hinder other teams by taking away there Quirks with his Special Action Eraser!

A tip with aizawa is when your in a 1v1 erase the quirk and immediately alpha then hold gamma and do it over and over or just normal alpha then gamma

I typically like to try to catch them on the quick wake up with the aerial alpha. It hits hard and if it isn't direct it's a small chunk of damage and they fall down with you hopping up to try it again especially if they quick wake up. The bouncing and knocking disorients in 1v1s. Got a lot of kills from it with the mixing in the grab into gamma and erasing.
Yuupp...this combo destroyed me yesterday. im pretty confident with my Kendo on 1v1 but agaisnt a Aizawa who did this? It destroyed me & now I doubt myselff when I challenge any aizawa 😂

His beta isnt bugged it only does 33 to 44 unless its level 3 to 4 to get the extra damage at the end of the kick
Challenge idea: play as a character who’s bad early game like Shigi but you can’t level up any of your attacks

i personally max gammer, beta then alpha coz all the alpha is used for early is movement and stopping abilitys
For aizawa when he lands with his alpha he has a little radio that does some damage which if you kick him and land on something you do the damage from the kick and radios or if you miss but are still close to the target they'll take the little damage

@@BubbleVerse0 o also a nice strategy is use you're special and then you're alpha because then you can get them more easily and you'll get it faster too

When you use beta to get height you (can) tap your gamma once to stall in midair and find a location to latch with alpha. Simple and most probably know this “tech”
But one other tip is how to use his alpha WITHOUT getting the stomp animation. It might be easier to post a small clip showcasing but I’ll do my best to explain it here.
The application seems a bit niche but once you understand it you can do it all over the map and even in fights to catch people off guard.
Essentially what you wanna do is think of the kind of angle you’re making when you launch the alpha skill. In general, the closer you are to creating a right angle or the “harder” the angle is the higher chance you’ll get a stomp. Adversely, the softer or more acute the angle is the more likely you will slide without getting the stomp. You essentially want to create a soft angle b/c approaching it directly will mean his foot will make contact and create the stomp.
I posted a short clip showcasing in more detail if it would help seeing it instead.

If anything try using the beta while in midair^^ I’ve found the tracking works better that way. So use Alpha midair to bounce kick and when you’re close , then use the beta ^^
Just make sure to try and look in their general direction or else it’ll be wonky 🫠🥴
IM A Aizawa main do Alpha then Gamma or level up all 3 moves because they can be equally used

When you are 1 v 1 always use the R, not just to block enemy abilities, they start to desesperate. And then you have free way to catch them and kill. Use the beta to get distance and again block their abilities.
I literally pursuit Endeavors 1 v 1 and they only tried to escape from me. I pursuit All Might, Deku, Todoroki, all in 1 v 1. Also Iidas that they come from me so confidents, they don’t expect the power of the Aizawa, and you always surprise them. Yesterday I was 3/4 health, and a Todoroki came from me to the mountains, he was full Health and almost full shield, I killed him very easy.
The new Aizawa not just is good in team work, he is an amazing duelist, and the people usually don’t know how to react, and in the moment you block them, they don’t have escape. Is my favorite character to play after the fixes

Aizawa is pretty nasty in 1 on 1s, but the second he gets put in a 2 on 1 he immediately is very underwhelming. Not much you can do when your character is built around combos and you get knocked out of them by another person.
