You're right about the console meta being different than PC. Ain't no way Mt Lady on the same tier as Dabi. The beta stomp that you can use in conjunction with alpha to melt other players, and is also armored so you can hard read other closed ranged quirks like Toga beta, Denki gamma, Iida beta etc, to put them in the beta alpha combo. You can also use your gamma to close the distance to put other players in this situation. Giant form beta at level 9 pretty much invalidates low movement or grounded characters (ie shigaraki, ibara) because you can just wait until they get up again to knock them down. I'd say giant form is honestly pretty situational, only really good when there's not many teams to laserbeam your giantself or when the zone is small lol. 95% of the time I'm small-lady because the beta stomp is the best part of her kit, always leveling it to 4 first to increase the radius of it. Brought me to ace rank this season.
You mean like how Kendo tends to cut in the wrong direction or not track the enemy at all when using her gamma, or the fact that it doesn't have that much range to it, like extremely few, if not 1 active frame, and quite a bit of end lag for no reason. For Kirishima's sake, at least his punch throws him forward and has a sizable shockwave to accompany the punch.
I play kendo and your description is correct, I like her because his playstyle is different and I enjoy beiing a team player. I absolutly love the shield, its great team support and its usefull to cover his weakness against range characters. Also she has great 1v2 potential.
I do love how this game is somewhat balanced to where you can win with multiple characters if you learn them, many other games you are forced into a meta
Sometimes ibara alpha just whiffs / Compress beta sometimes harms him n it takes 4ever 2 roll once u activate it /cementoss beta sometimes just disappears / cementoss gamma into alpha great combo / cementoss gamma alao lets him stall in the air / making a pillar n reviving alao pretty useful u can even block ppl frlm entering once u use ur special action
I wanna add one thing since I know Dabi pretty well, Shiozaki is one of his biggest counters. She is the only character that can projectile through his fire circle.
In all honesty, I mostly use his gamma as a sort of wall if the other character has projectiles. Not necessarily as a keep away, because as you mentioned it’s not good for that
I think it’s because Ibara doesn’t have any “real” projectiles. Her alpha is more like a long ranged melee move rather than an actual projectile, compress and all might can’t reflect her attacks either…
Shinozaki is more of a damage character than support. Also if anyone disagrees with todoroki then play the game. I use to not know how to play him but now I know his weaknesses and can play around them
They should change kendos special action to her growing her hand slaping the floor deeling 60-100 damage and she should launch in to the air you can also hold a direction to go there BOOM kendos a good Character
@@skymodz ok so with toga one of her best attacks is her beta skill because you can use it for big damage or to escape from a fight the cool thing about it too is that it’s directional so you can aim upwards and use it that way for movement too her knifes are also excellent for sniping people from a distance or if you are mid range you can use them and the speed and small damage will add up but other than those my only other tips would be don’t stray too far from your teammates and always look for enemy’s that way if they are coming towards you you can run or fight or if you see a team fighting off in the distance you can third party them with your teammates
@@Webavalo her beta is ridiculous. Short cooldown if you only use one at a time and stall, duration of the skill is longer if you hit someone, great movement Using it on a team of three makes it last for so long lol
If you really like the characters then go for it! Like I said at the beginning no character is out right terrible there are times when I fight kendo’s or ibara’s on all night and I struggle so do what feels right
black whip would be so much better if you didnt have to jump for it to grapple

You forgot about an extra effect on shigaraki special if you hit an opponent with it they'll have lower defense and take extra damage
I did that to an endever wen he used his game I doge rolled and threw knifes and he died
