When I assembled all the wood pieces i tried to sit in it without the rope.. I freaked out because after all that work the middle turned oak piece pressed against the lower back like hell.. But after the rope came on, it changed the whole story and I was surprised how comfortable it really is.. You can't feel the wood at all.. I first planned making two but I was worried because you can never get two perfectly identical pieces even from the same mould.. Safer this way.. Glad you like it!

This man has more tools I’ve never even heard of in his shop and still uses his belt sander upside down like the rest of us.

Bravo on the cutting the preform in half. I had all kinds of complicated ideas about how to make a perfect split. Your method trumped them all!
If skillsaw had a bit bigger blade, it would be even simpler ;)
This symphony is the perfect background for this piece, state of art!
