Certainly there is a lot of bloody-minded comments, first of all she has a beautiful legato and vibrato is very clear and pure, her technique is overwhelmingly effective and lethal, i have seen many performances of this work of Cassadó but this one is perfectly fit in tempo and it is clearly that her studies are hard enough in compare to those comments which we can see they doesn't know about the difference to play cello and learn the cello, her mistakes are very subtle, you are demanding a lot of she but you even can play or understand what does mean classical music and to learn an instrument, because if you people are very good to criticise go on and make a recording of a lot of works for cello and teach to Rostropovich, Wispelwey, Kodály, Yo-Yo Ma etc... Congratulations to Anna Litvinenko!
I love this piece so much and I' ve heard lots of musicians playing it. Your interpretation is my favorite and I listen to it every day. You play whit such intensity and sometimes so lightly it feels like floating in space...I wished I could play like this. When can we buy a cd from you with this piece on it?
Very, very captivating! Great interpretation of the piece. I am learning this piece myself for a recital and there are many things you did that I enjoyed more than Starker's recording, especially in the third movement. You are a fabulous cellist!!
The thing is that cellonorigby has said "for my taste" and this qualifies the comment. I don't necessarily agree with his.her taste but there's nothing wrong with expressing an opinion without being condescended to.
Actually I'm not in a position to know how assertive is this performance. But for me that am just a beginner musician sounds very professional, and the sound of the cello is beautiful, or maybe you manage to make it sound like that, do not know ... anyway congratulations from Venezuela. :)
hm... too many people and too many home made opinions out there. be open to things you guys can't do or understand and be surprised how much this supports your development and enriches your life experience.

GRATIDÃO por esse post, esse vídeo maravilhoso! Jesus sempre!
Brilliantly played and with a lot of artistry. My critique is more of the the current landscape in general. In so much I lose the dance for the sake of cello stuff
I commend you for recording this in one take, well done! :) Overall the tempos are a little sluggish for my liking, I think the piece needs more fire. However you are certainly a talented individual and I enjoyed the video a lot! Is the stretch at 8:50 a bit much? Also you leave out the bass at the end of the movement 2 chord... sorry, I'm just not sure you realised! Good playing again!
I see your videos and i think that she plays much better than you , she have much greater sound and is much more expresive , i think that you need more work still . she plays amazing
girl! very beautiful yr interpretation on cassadó and cello 3rd suite yr sound is amazing but ur left hand is wierd.. your index finger is always raised and you warp the entire hand to make double notes like in 00:27
Playing in a reverb filled room on an expensive Cello you probably didn't pay for yourself is the way to go!, Not to mention the early Cello lessons you probably didn't pay for neither. Can we get a hell yeah for being born with a silver spoon! =D
Could you be more specific? I hear this so often when people want to throw shit at a player in the vaguest way possible, but what exactly does that even mean???

This was a trip to hear and watch. I felt it, not sure how else to describe my experience. Thank you for posting this all those years ago ❤
best interpretation of this song yet
Ecouter, rêver, écouter... Merci beaucoup, Anna! Merci beaucoup Cassadó!
The sound that is being drawn from that cello is amazing.

So far my favourite recital of this piece.
Oh....beautiful…😻
What a dynamic piece and performance. It has become a goal to someday play this along with the Bach suites.
This is incredible. Utterly, utterly astounding....

She plays beautiful. Totally like a soloist.

Great job =) You sound really good. I've played this piece before and am a cello student - love how you've made it really musical.
A friend of mine sent me a link to this. You're brilliant. Stay with it.
Very well, ¡you are a great interpreter!
very beautiful sound

Si tenes razon, excelente tono
Excelente
Wow- fantastic! I thought the opening seemed a little forced but amazing! I love the breakdown with the harmonics around minute 4....
The thing is that cellonorigby has said "for my taste" and this qualifies the comment. I don't necessarily agree with his.her taste
but there's nothing wrong with expressing an opinion without being condescended to.

He was replying to a comment that said they wish they could play like this...
quelle richesse dans le timbre
impressive..
браво!
bien la Jota (3eme mvt) on sent l'Espagne, belle interprétation
Thanks for watching!
I would strongly recommend a hearty dose of book-reading and classical music at least twice per week. :)
On entend les anges chanter

holy shit.
HELLO DAD
HOW YOU DOING?

This piece is fucking ammazing!
@Calebe030393

Anna
Yeah Starker is from another planet....
@Calebe030393 so the fifth between the g and d is in tune, tis the way to do it
Pelle d'oca!
༼ᕗຈل͜ຈ༽ᕗ Drop Bows on 'em ༼ᕗຈل͜ຈ༽ᕗ
holy shit!
Your sound is Gorgeous!!! What instrument do you have for this recording? I love your playing. !!! My favorite Cassado performance.
I commend you for recording this in one take, well done! :) Overall the tempos are a little sluggish for my liking, I think the piece needs more fire. why is she playing the last mvmnt in slowmotion?
except starker makes lots of mistakes, in that japanese recital of this piece anyway
it doesn't sound like it's in coordination with the video... but therwise ok...
I see your videos and i think that she plays much better than you , she have much greater sound and is much more expresive , i think that you need more work still . she plays amazing
Needs some work still, but it's getting there...
girl! very beautiful yr interpretation on cassadó and cello 3rd suite yr sound is amazing
but ur left hand is wierd.. your index finger is always raised and you warp the entire hand to make double notes like in 00:27
The sound seems oddly out of sync with the video.
this song don't make senCe!
This is great ! But you can't defeat Starker on this piece :)
Very fine, but I wish I could not see her. The theatrical touches kill it for me.
bit too much rubato for my taste. rhythm/timing/pulse are critical, regardless of being unaccompanied, or "self-accompanied," as a friend once put it.
Playing in a reverb filled room on an expensive Cello you probably didn't pay for yourself is the way to go!, Not to mention the early Cello lessons you probably didn't pay for neither. Can we get a hell yeah for being born with a silver spoon! =D
UltimateC2020 What a sarcastic, hateful comment.
Really??
Wealth or not, the only thing that makes someone good with an instrument is conviction.
So naive to think that’s all it takes to become a good cellist. From this comment, you’re probably not any good
The above comment by UltimateC020 is probably the most hatefully, disgustingly misogynist thing I've ever read.
practice more.
Very good, but why not any emotion?
Please dont talk rot !
Could you be more specific? I hear this so often when people want to throw shit at a player in the vaguest way possible, but what exactly does that even mean???
The outfit (or lack of) is distracting....
